"Met up with a friend downtown and chose this spot for a quick Friday lunch. With the waitress's recommendation, I went for the crepes--no hesitation! And look how pretty they were! The fresh strawberries paired perfectly with the sweet cream, all wrapped in soft, delicate crepes. Perfection! My friend, on the other hand, went the healthy route with a veggie egg roll and tomatoes on the side--definitely too healthy for me!You can sit inside or outside, and the staff brings you hot coffee and cold water to start your meal off right. A cozy, relaxing spot for a casual lunch!"
"What a wonderful spot to get away from those seafood beach vibes and have a higher class culinary experience. Vegetarian pho is the best I've had in my 20 yrs as a vegetarian. The indoor and outdoor seating are both excellent and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend."

"Travelled an hour to return to one of my favorite 2018 food experiences: Alsace French Bistro. And, if possible, it was even better!Tartiflette, Croque Madame, Brioche french toast with cinnamon apples, bubbly, Crepes Suzette, Mousse au Chocolat. We've both been to Paris, but its better in Tierra Verde - bravo!!!"
"Updated review - this place is still awesome. One of our favorite cafes in tampa. Great French cafe that offers a variety of breakfast/lunch items. Although my bf and I stick mainly to the breakfast items. The lunch items look yummy as well! Their coffee is great!! Iced or hot! Croissants are ALWAYS fresh, I get one every visit. Baguettes, French toast, crepes, ALL GREAT. They even have certain limited menu items that change every so often. We come here various times a month and the service is always great, love that we get served and they don't rush us to leave. Great first date spot to just sit and chat as well!!"
"This place is true 5 stars. Tremendous atmosphere great service and delicious food and dessert."

Visited Samaria for the first time today with some out of town friends and loved our experience. This is a casual, no-frills (and VERY REASONABLY PRICED) restaurant located in the heart of downtown Tampa. We partially came to party and almost started paying $8 per mimosa, and then we learned that we could just buy a bottle of Andre champagne and that would satisfy our table's needs...and boy, it did!I had the avocado toast (not pictured) and a traditional breakfast with two fried eggs over hard, two slices of bacon, and hashbrowns that were delightful once I added a little bit of salt. What I really loved about our visit is how many juice options they have for mimosas. We enjoyed passionfruit and mango but there were a ton more options. Our server (whose name I don't have because I didn't pay the bill) was amazing. He was knowledgeable and attentive, what more could you ask for?! Oh, and they have adorable mechanical colored pencils for the kids! I'm a teacher so I appreciate the attention to the kids! Would definitely recommend Samaria and would definitely return if I find myself in the downtown area.

This is a special little French restaurant tucked away in the corner of the charming strip center on Tierra Verde. The food is fantastic- I have tried almost everything. The best is always their specials. Best kept secret- their fries. Skinny and just the right crisp. Good wine, good food and French country atmosphere, romantic & charming character. Prices are reasonable. The staff is wonderful. I will be back.

For Sunday breakfast, we decided to visit Chez Faby, a charming French restaurant located in downtown. The restaurant was about 30 minutes from our place, and we were lucky enough to find a parking spot nearby.Chez Faby is an intimate place with a delightful French brunch menu. We were promptly seated and given menus to peruse. For coffee, we ordered an Iced Latte, and for breakfast, we chose the Eleonore Benedict, Eggs Avocado Salmon, and a Croissant Aux Cookies. The Iced Latte arrived quickly and was the perfect start to breakfast, with almost no sugar, just as I prefer. The croissant followed soon after--it was delicious, crispy, and undoubtedly one of the best croissants we've had.Our main breakfast dishes, the Eleonore Benedict and Eggs Avocado Salmon, arrived shortly after. Both dishes were incredibly tasty, packed with flavor, and full of protein. They were fulfilling and made for an amazing breakfast experience.Chez Faby is an amazing French restaurant with delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. It was the perfect way to start our Sunday morning.

The best fine dining in Madeira beach, possibly even in all of Pinellas county. Food:Lobster bisque - I've eaten a lot of lobster bisque but I think this may be my favorite so far. Creamy and decadent with great flavor. The lobster chunks were perfectly cooked and as tender as butter. House salad w/ house dressing - the house dressing is so incredible! I only wish it was a bigger serving so I could've eaten more of it.Duck confit special - the rich balsamic port sauce paired perfectly with the tender, crispy duck. I had to stop myself from eating everything so I could save room for dessert. Crème brûlée - I finished off dinner with a favorite. The sugar was perfectly caramelized and the custard was wonderfully balanced. I sampled the chocolate mousse too which was delicious but very rich. Ambiance:The space is small and intimate but feels homey with beautiful decor. I loved that they have such unique and pretty plates. Every dish was beautifully presented.Service:Excellent service. The staff very clearly loves what they do and take pride in the restaurant. We'll be back soon!

Within the area near Clearwater Beach where we live, its been tough to find decent restaurants that aren't the cookie-cutter beach patio or slightly upscale hotel kitchen. Colette's finally was a true authentic meal experience in the area. Really impressed.. This is the first time I've had a dinner near the island, without driving far (such as into downtown Tampa) and had this positive of an experience. Its small and cute, somewhat of a European vibe, and only serves wine (and a beer). The owner herself is the server. She's talkative, super friendly, and she even is a great wine enthusiast! This made the entire meal comforting and a warm feeling. The wine list is large and the prices were fair. We got a really tasty bottle for $70 that probably goes for 50 in stores. I'll take it. Her description was also spot on. Food time - - small menu, but lots to say. The owners added this uniqueness by explaining some of the creative spins they brainstorm for each dish, and how they make it true to their own personal cooking. Favorites:1. Seabass: normally fish dishes are solid, but are just fish dishes. This was actually a step above and I might say some of the best/interesting tasting fish I've had. 2. Steak Tartare: awesome. I'm hit or miss on tartare, and this was soo well mixed and good. 3. Frites: super crispy and delicious. Needed a sauce/ketchup though haha. Other Food:The foie-gras was half butter-fat and half of what I expected. I didn't like the butter fat portion, but the rest (and toast it came with) were 10/10... The Filet Steak I'd say to skip, but only because it was just a normal filet I could probably make at home.. Lastly, the French onion soup: they put a spin on it to deconstruct a bit, and while the flavors were all there, I'd probably want the standard crispy cheese version. Butter Cake dessert with ice cream was $$.. RIP to my stomach. In short: highly recommended, its a true feeling of disconnecting from the touristy beach-goer patio places, it has real authentic cooking, and the owners put a lot into making the experience.

"A gem! Excellent food. Try the rack of lamb with mustard sauce. Excellent service, cozy atmosphere and a great wine list! Plenty of parking too!"
"One of the best meals I've had in a long time.Best olive oil w/herbs and I never eat bread in restaurants; kept eating more and more of it because I loved the herbed olive oil.Best goat cheese salad; OMG croutons with hot melted goat cheese and herbs. I would order this again for sure.Salmon tartare-- interesting recipe; a little heavy on the chopped onions.I recommend the Vouvre wine by the glass. Light; not too acidic.Enjoyed the Crepes Suzette dessert. Highly recommended.Top notch ambiance and French music.Superb service by Tabitha.Easy parking in their parking lot."
"This place is new! We just stumbled upon it and dare I say the best bagels in St. Pete Beach! We ordered a black iced coffee, sunset bowl to go, chocolate croissant, and bagel with cream cheese! The service was fast, friendly and left us excited to get our food!Outside you can find little high tops, a bench and bistros. Inside are a few more tables! The perfect fit! Chocolate Croissant - 10/10. Warm. Melty. Delicious.Medium Black Iced Coffee - Love the blue straw. Good beans. Sunset Bowl To Go - YUM!!!! I am convinced it was secretly not a passion fruit base - but I am not phased. It was perfect! The honey made it just the right amount of sweet without feeling like I was eating spoonfuls of sugar. I can't wait to try another flavor this week! Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese - YUM!"
"Three for early lunch on a Tuesday morning! Worth the drive up from Sarasota to meet a friend! Was able to sit out on the patio and enjoy a long lunch catching up. The restaurant was not crowded so we were able to relax.Herbert, our waiter went out of the way to make us comfortable and meet our needs. A salad, a hamburger and the fried chicken sandwich were all enjoyed. Will have to go back for the chocolate croissant which I hear is to die for!"
