Dee R. "I was really excited about Wings today, so you can imagine my disappointment when I received overcooked, extremely salty , baby wings. 8 of them for 8.50 , 9.00 with tip. They were ready 43 seconds after I ordered them which also means they were not hot or fresh. The Ranch dressing looked like it had been partially used so I did not have any dipping sauce. I will not order from here again."

Karen V. "It's delicious! I'm so happy to give another food truck a 5 star review. It's not always about the lighting or décor of a place. The food and service matters the most to me, and Ginger's Café deserves lots of praise for a quick and hot meal that was so wonderful and comforting.First of all, definitely try to get the bibimbap if you happen to see it posted. It's not on the regular menu, but you'll see it as the daily special posted on the counter window. It was delicious, and a very big portion of ground beef bulgogi on top of rice and all different kinds of veggies including spinach (all kinds of goodness). You get your choice of beef or pork. You can also skip the rice and get all meat and veggies if that's what you desire. They will also add a fried egg for an extra $1. I didn't ask for the egg but it was the best mistake ever. The yolk mixed with the rice and beef made it an even tastier treat for me. It reminded me of my mother because she used to love her fried egg on top of white rice. I never could understand it until now. It completed the whole experience. They give you gochujang sauce on the side, but it really didn't need it. They also give you a small side of mild or spicy kimchi. I got the mild one and it was very tasty. I'd get the bibimbap bowl again in a heartbeat. The fresh lemonade was also what I needed to wash it all down. It took me a while to write this review because I had to go back a second time just to try the egg rolls. These were huge rolls filled with cabbage, carrots, glass noodles and bits of pork here and there. It can be its own meal. They give you 2 very large rolls. They were hot and crispy as an egg roll should be. This is something else I would order again but I would need to share it with someone else next time. I want to go back to try the sweet & spicy pork bites as well as the bulgogi burger. The food truck is in front of the Brandon Oriental Market on Saturdays. I haven't been to their primary location at 127 N Moon Avenue yet. I just happened to see the schedule posted on Facebook. There is also a nice article in the Osprey Observer about the Korean/American family who owns this local business. The food is great, the price is reasonable, and Ginger and her family provide great service. I can't wait to go back."

If you're familiar with Lolis' restaurants, then you will love this food stand. It offers the same great menu tightly wrapped up in a little truck. If you haven't tried Lolis, then you are in for a treat during your commute. It may be hard to believe, but this food truck delivers the big time taste--that's uniquely Lolis'--to commuters and residence in Riverview and surrounding communities. Carnitas, pastor, asada and other staples are served here without missing a morsels of flavor. This location also accepts credit cards, cash and mobile payments. I highly recommend stopping in and trying this Lolis. Picnic tables are also provided for those who want to "dine in.""

They have other options as well: breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, cubans, but I really wanted to try their butter chicken! It was great with the rice and garlic naan. I even got a Thumbs Up which is really India's version of Coke. The whole experience was exactly what I needed: great people, food and location!"

We pick the marinated grilled pork. This dish the pork is wrapped the fresh plantains outwardly. Then it deep fried. This dish is good with finger eating. It was delicious. A fairly new truck, they specialize in a sort of flatbread/pizza rollup in a variety of flavors, in addition to decadent parmesan truffle fries and more apps. They were super friendly, fast and delicious, not to mention accommodating to our needs.I LOVE that they had local drinks like Made cold brew and Mother's kombucha on tap!Unfortunately, they did run out of a few items: cold brew, fried chicken; so, I recommend getting in line and ordering first before it's gone!I had the meatball Impasto and it was so hearty and delicious. They do NOT skimp on ingredients and I had enough for leftovers.Suggestion for the business: It would be great if you created a "half rollup, half fry" meal deal for people who don't want leftovers or who don't want to spend too much on lunch. I think it would do really well!"

I took a chance driving south on 301 in Riverview (IYKYK) lol This spot is located on the same lot as the Marathon gas station. I chose to get the fruit salad bowl with the soursop yogurt base. I enjoyed the fresh fruit though the strawberries were tart the bowl was still good. It cost $11.77 so this will be a some time dessert treat you'll go broke if you went frequently. The reason I gave 4 stars is their menu does not show pricing so you find out when you place your order. Giving customers a heads up would be a good idea. Overall the fruit salad bowl was good and refreshing."

I knew with 208 trucks and so many choices I wanted to try all the trucks that truly offered something that had a UNIQUE TWIST. So I looked for every truck on FB or the Web/Yelp/UP, many nights of food porn let me tell you.I had my GREEN LIGHT list and my LOOK AT list. Finding HOTT MESS on FB gave me chance to see some of their food as well as a sample of their menu. They were MY first truck to visit. They had many wonderful choices that day, but I ordered the Tots Ziki...HOT, CRISP tots topped with all the WONDERFUL makings of a GYRO. Not only was it a good looking dish, it was one of the best uses of tator tots that we have ever had.But its not just the food that will draw you in, its the GREAT ENERGY that the crew has;Friendly and Creative. A combo that will bring us back to try many more options of their ability to take the simple and jack it up to be a HOTT MESS of YUM. We are proud to be HOTT MESS GROUPIEs :-)"

Steven B. "When a food truck stays in one place for years, as have these folks, you know you might be on to something good!Atmosphere- What! Atmosphere for a food truck? Yup. As business increased they added a beautiful covered patio so you could eat protected from that brutal Florida sun. Then they added a building with two immaculate bathrooms. Finish off with a little landscaping and it's not your typical food truck anymore.Location- Wauchula is a tiny spec of dirt on your GPS screen in Central Florida. You'll probably blow buy when you are going somewhere else on Route 17. As they are open all three meals, you'll kick yourself if you don't stop and give them a try.Pro Tip- This place is soft drinks only so stop at any number of places on Route 17, as I did, and grab a cold beer to go.Food- Standard Mexican fare in all it's glory. I went with three Beef Gorditas and they were pockets of warm spicy love and just lightly fried. I added beans and rice. The beans were not mush like you get in some places but chunky and delicious. I was stuffed for $8.50.So I was sitting in the shade, sipping my ice cold Modelo, munching excellent food, and wishing this place were closer to me so I could visit at least once a week."

I ordered the beef and meatball pho and it was a great amount of meat to noodle ratio. It was super tasty. I also ordered the bbq Pork banh mi. It had tons of flavor with it and the bread was a nice texture, not too hard and still nicely toasted.Lastly, I ordered the Vietnamese wings with fries. The flavor is good for the wings and the fries were okay, they are the skinny ones. That was my husband's order. When I ordered it online I received an update through text of when it would be finished and I drove across the street to get it. So super simple and convenient. And woohoo~ and nice little stroll in the full on Florida sun, we arrived and assessed the menu board. Pro TIP- they have off menu breakfast sandwiches (sometimes) so ask!!! I ordered a coconut-vanilla latte, my daughter went with some crazy frapp thing (she wanted cold and I should have joined her) that was mocha and coffee. They make the Brazilian cheese bread from scratch, along with other pastries and they are the size of a huge muffin!!! Connor got one of those, Crystin got a cheese danish which she said was ridiculously heavy and I got the off menu bacon-egg-cheese (fresh baked) croissant sandwich. I didn't dare sip my coffee until I was back in air conditioning- it was perfection in a cup. My daughter's frapp thing tasted wonderful too (next time- I'm getting that), I even tried a bite of her danish and it was buttery goodness with wonderful cheese filling. My croissant- holy out-of-this-world good! The bacon was super thick and tasty (I do wish it was more crispy), eggs and cheese on that fresh croissant filled me up quick! The smell was torture on the way back to the house! The Food truck is family owned and operated and just a wonderful bunch! IF you live in Mirada- hunt them down!!! They are worth it. We saw many people park on either side to order and drive home- so you know they are getting the word of mouth! They are only open on Saturday and Sunday- google claims they are open both days in the morning, but my daughter said they are open Saturday mornings and a little later on Sunday and have delicious empanadas made from scratch. YUM!!!"
