"I got instant love for this place!!! The place is clean and the employees are friendly. Found about this place from my wife from one of her co workers. They have this awesome ala carte spread where you can pick out which ones you want and the put it in a box for you like a buffet style Chinese place. The prices are food too. We got a to go box and lady loaded the hell out of it. We got yellow fried rice, a bed steak looking entrée with ox tail and typed off with plantains. All of that was only 7.99 and it was literally more than enough for two people. Aside from that they are also a grocery store and have their own meat section with a butcher behind the counter. We were going to eat out to go at home but we ended up at there eating section and just paid for two bottled drinks which were only .99 each. Overall we had one good experience here and I will happy to be back to try out more of their selections of to go."
"Ouuuuffff! This Italian Deli is everything a person could ever want! Their selection of Head meats is so varied that it's hard to choose. They have delicious antipasto options, with multiple potato salads, pasta salads & cured marinated meats to choose from. Their dessert section offers the best Italian wedding cookies a girl could ask for. I love coming here during my lunch break & grabbing a sandwich to go. The staff is friendly & I highly recommend you pop in for some goodies."

"Wednesday lunch time makes this a busy place, because the food is very good.I usually have the ham and provolone sub with the Greek dressing, very delicious!"
"Excellent on all fronts. Don't let the convenience store curb appeal deter you. It has a surprise for you on the back deck. My husband and I chose seats on the patio. It was 74 degrees at 10 am (January) and half the patio was in the sun and the rest was in the shade. The breeze was just enough to roll a straw off the table or blow away an untucked napkin, but we adjusted and really enjoy watching birds dive into the water looking for their breakfast. Tammy was our delightful and appreciative server. My choice was the Western Omelette - perfect portion and cooked well. It came with hash browns when were clearly homemade. Crispy and yet soft and yummy when you cut into it. My husband chose the Corn beef Hash. The meat was excellent, as I would expect for a small hole in the wall-like shop with an exceptional deli!! Perhaps my favorite part was the music-- Kansas, ELO, some of the best oldies easy listening around"
"Great bread! Sandwiches were made so well! Great service! Came here after checking out the caves. It was a great place for a meal on the way home."
"Delicious! We are always happy when new business open up downtown and we're excited to check this place out! They are still in soft opening but will have the grand opening soon! The deli is located in between The Mercantile and the new cat cafe place. There is street parking or the little parking lot at the corner of Collins and MLK. They have a couple of tables with chairs inside and two areas of bar seating at the window overlooking the road. They are also in the process of adding picnic tables in between the buildings for additional seating. My husband ordered the Little Italy panini. He said it was amazing. It looked really good, too! My son ordered a meatball (kids half size) and my daughter ordered salami. They were both very pleased with their sandwiches. I ordered the Mel. It was very tasty. Definitely don't skip out on the garlic aioli because it gives it that extra something! Our order was made quickly and with care. They have chips and a cooler with drinks. We were very happy with our sandwiches and will be back for sure!"
"We were in Winter Haven for a baseball game and looked to Yelp for a lunch suggestion. We felt adventurous so we tried this amazing Dominican restaurant. It is buffet style with lots of traditional offerings including yucca, plantains, beans and rice, pork with crispy skin, chicken and on and on. It was so fresh and delicious. The women working the counter were smiling and friendly. You gotta try it. It is a little sketchy from the outside but super clean and nice inside and very affordable."
"Found this little gem via Yelp - Love the variety of Puerto Rican pastries and the hot food bar. The mofongo (smashed plantain) and trifongo (mashed yucca, green & ripe plantain) were divine. We ordered a la carte and came with some tasty broth on the side. Very generous portion that can definitely feed 2 people. We also had their stew chicken, boiled yucca, chicken soup. All super tasty. I am so sad it is so far from my home. The staff was very friendly. The time we went (around 5pm) was really slow, and they took the time to answer all my questions. If it gets busy I am sure there will be a little wait, but worth it."
"This place has an awesome selection of produce and specialty items and it's priced very well. My boyfriend was able to find yummy greek treats that are hard to find. The people are also very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to try their homemade sandwiches and soups."
"Best Cuban you'll ever have Period. Garlic butter press is the only way. They new owners have kept the quality and added upgrades and new equipment to the slightly older building. Larrys will be a staple for many years to come."
"To say that I am a creature of habit is an understatement. I have been eating my lunch at Moxies Too for YEARS. You see, their front door is only about 200 feet from my office door. I've been there a few times. The Moxies Too team works well together and they are quite friendly. Orders are taken quickly, smooth and efficient. The line moves fast. Seating is abundant. The dining room is always clean. My typical order is the Tampa Cuban. The Moxies Too version comes with lettuce and tomato, so if that ain't your thing, be sure to let them know. A little too liberal on the mayonnaise, and the meat is a little lighter than some other local restaurants that sell the same sandwich, but overall it is a tasty version of the sandwich that made West Tampa famous.Ive tried most everything on the menu, but some of my other favorites are The Boss, Blue Mox and the Sears Tower. If you find yourself in the area, give it a shot, but keep in mind that they are located in the airport commercial district; Moxies Too closes at 3PM and is only open Monday - Friday. Holidays? Forget about it!"
"This is about 3.5 stars for restaurant but 4 stars for the meat market. The Mexican restaurant and grocery concept has been use in south Tampa. But for this area is the first. The reason they are 3.5 stars is their taco is not the cheapest. Food truck may be cheaper than them. In the same time, their overhead is higher too. I got the tripe soup, carnitas, pastor, lengua, and barbacoa tacos. The taco come with meat and tortilla. One positive thing is they bring the onion and cilantro for you to add your own. They also supply the lime to squeeze in. The green and red sauce is provided. I like their tripe soup because they are cook to soft. The meat choices is marinated and good for you to buy home and cook yourself. This is something new. They have the churrasco season with the spice. The price is great per pound since they did the work for you and ready to cook."

This is a good Cuban and Latin Americam style market witha well stocked produce section, butcher, and hot.food section. There's also a seating area. The customer service, fillings, and flavors weren't quite up to my favorite places, but don't be afraid to stop in for some mangu, El Ebro canned soup, plantains, coffee, and a pressed sanwich. Empanadas and croquetas too. Chicharron and pork belly. Soup.

In Largo, for a work meeting, I visited here basically out of convenience the first time. The second time? Because the first visit was yummy! First time? I ordered the Kraut dog with a side of their potato salad. Kraut dog is what you'd expect as for toppings: Sauerkraut, mustard, and onions. Basic. What made it more exceptional? The dog and the poppyseed fresh bun! The potato salad you can tell was house made, very good! Second time? I went with the chili cheese dog and same side. Extra napkins are required, and yes I dripped some cheese on my khakhis! Woops! The hotdog is again delicious. The chili topping mild but definitely house made. There was nothing left after other than the little stain on my pants lol. Inside is pretty small. I'd guess 15 tables ( a mix of round tops and booths). Their service? Excellent. I was surprised to see how many team members were working. At least 4 to 5. Listening while eating, I could hear one team member training another. Loved that. It also appeared they were very supportive of each other and better? Having fun doing it. Look, I've only sampled their hot dogs thus far, but there is much more on their menu, and they have daily specials! They are only open to 3:00 and yes I contemplated asking for a to go box to store in my car for dinner later! It's like 300 degrees in my car so yeah, no.Here? It was convenient for me. However, if I lived here? This would definitely be a spot! Recommend!

Went here last night before a Yelp event to enjoy a quick snack and a glass of wine. I was pleasantly surprised by the good reviews of this place . It is both a convenient store and eatery with a patio overlooking the bay. We sat down and were quickly helped with our order. We received the chicken wing appetizer and two glasses of wine. Both were good and the atmosphere was relaxing. They are known for their sandwiches but we didn't have one this time. We will have to come back and try them next time.

Another place that I had on my list but never actually had the time to go.This place has been a Puerto Rican treasure for as long as I been in FL. They sell are your common PR pastry along with their food.Food price is pretty consider how popular they are. One thing is, make sure you have patience because the wait can be quite long when you're ordering food.

"I discovered them on UberEats.I'm a first-time user of UberEats and a first time customer of Schnikel Fritz.Ordered a Reuben on marble rye (choice of white, wheat or rye). Also, a side of potato salad and "potato barrels" (which just turned out to be tater tots):Everything was delicious. Came with a pickle spear and a small bag of ruffles. I'm saving half the food for the weekend. I'm definitely curious to go down there and see what else they serve."
"This was a sweet find. We were making our way south on Rt. 75 in Florida when we decided to stop & explore a bit. We found the Salty Sweet Deli & Bakery. Everything is fresh & made in house: cakes, pastries, muffins & more. I had delicious home made lentil soup & a really fresh greek salad. My husband had a Ruben on marble rye. It is unpretentious & clean, with friendly service located in Chuck's Natural Field Health Food Store. If you are fond of traditional deli's you may want to try this mom & pop tiny spot. Easy off & on Rt. 75."
"I've driven past this little train station building my whole life and just recently noticed on the sign that there's a deli located inside. I've never heard anyone talk about it which blows my mind because lunch was DELICIOUS. They're only open till 3pm, but they have an extensive menu of classic and specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts. They welcome customizations and offer BYO sandwiches. You order at the counter located at the entrance and the food is brought to your (very cafeteria feel) table. Julia was very sweet and helpful. The food in my photos is a HALF salad HALF sandwich combo. It's HUGE. The Greek salad was loaded with good stuff and everything was fresh and crisp, they have several dressing options including a creamy coconut, but the Greek dressing was on point. The caboose sandwich had a nice amount of tender, medium rare beef, lots of cheese and is served with what I believe is their French onion soup to dip. SO GOOD. SO FILLING. Their daily specials are also served with a beverage so you can get a delicious full lunch for less than $15. I will be back again and again."
"Ran in here on a whim on a rainy day. I am absolutely pleased. My partner got a ruben with pastrami and roast beef. He's delighted. The matzo ball soup is on point. It was just the day for perfectly done NY food. The service was speedy, having it all together for me to go in under 10 min. I am definitely coming back to sit and enjoy the deli vibe. Makes you feel like you've been transported out of FL."
"Little market that sells European goods. Cafe inside with a few items to order from. Ordered a gyro and a chicken souvlaki. Both were delicious!"
"This is a great location. It's very clean and the service is fast. The sub I had tasted fresh and satisfying. I would eat here again. Jersey Mikes is a great option for fast casual subs."
"We absolutely loved the food and service here! It was delicious and such a great deal. Get the pastries!! The servers are friendly and the booths are cozy."
"Great food, cute hole in the wall diner and excellent service. The meatloaf sandwich is amazing but only available certain days of the week. Get there early as waits can be long during lunchtime."
"I don't make it in here enough! I came in for a quick hot/already made dinner. No one was in line. I ordered the palomilla with arroz amarillo and frijoles negros. I asked if the palomilla could be done without breading. the guys serving was very nice and said yes, no problem!I waited a few minutes, my food was up, it was hot and hot when I got it home. It was a lot more salty than I like, but the flavor was good and I got 2 meals out of it.I didn't peruse around this time for anything in the rest of the store, but they still do have convenient store items up front and groceries all around the rest of the store.I remember now they have great Spanish spices and other items that might be hard to find elsewhere. I will have to definitely come back more often. It's a gem!"
"Don't expect to waltz in here and grab a sandwich because it's not that kind of deli. What you can expect is to buy the bread and meats for a sandwich, go home and make it yourdamnself. And that ain't all bad.The bread, for one, is nothing short of amazing. True European-style. Dense, heavy, crusty and hearty. This ain't not bag of French bread from Publix, and because they don't use preservatives, it gets moldy quick. To avoid this, I slice it up upon arriving home and freeze half of it. Need a slice? Pop it in the toaster for two cycles and booya! They do have some prepared items that one can take home and heat up. I've only tried the stuffed cabbage. It's pretty solid, but not as good as what my mom used to make.As for grocery items, the pierogi are a must. Mutiple kinds are available, but I keep it simple and stick with the cheese and potato variety. So good! The cakes and pastries are supposed to be divine, but I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I can't speak for them. I'm just repeating what I've heard customers say."
"OK so we just came back from having a wonderful dinner at this place, first time there and was recommended by a fellow yelper. To start with when you walk into the place you noticed right away that it's extremely clean and very quaint, kind of cozy, and we were welcomed by the hostess/ waitress. It's a very small place and it looks like it's typically a one seating type of restaurant with not a lot of tables being turned, but that's a good thing and helps with it being quaint. Our waitress was fantastic, from helping us decide on a bottle of wine or what types of beers, she brought us out samples before we decided, she helped us with appetizers and main courses and also desserts. As far as food is concerned it was spot on, I had the chefs signature pork tenderloin with a brown gravy and mushrooms that was excellent, my wife had sauerbraten which was perfect. The bread they served before the meal which was a pretzel bread with a garlic herb butter was fantastic, the appetizers were excellent, and they have the best apple strudel I ever had in my entire life for dessert.I will definitely be going back there, we had reservations although it was not very busy that night but I understand it gets very busy at times and reservations would be a good thing as the place is quite small. All this added up to me deserves five stars as they hit the nail on the head across the board."
"Phila Deli is our absolute Go-To restaurant on Tierra Verde for authentic Philly Cheese Steaks (and...BONUS...the other food on the menu is really good too). Fun here starts with wonderful service - spearheaded by Aspyn and Parker. Both are very personable and customer-centric! They just do a great job of welcoming you in and taking care of you. Phila Deli's Cheesesteak sets itself apart by using the authentic Amorosa Roll shipped straight in from Philly. Their steak and cheese is a generous serving and yet balanced nicely to enjoy both bun and contents. Couldn't do a review without a shout out on the Hand Cut fries - skin on deliciousness abounds! I've enjoyed the Croque Madame and it too is delicious. So come on in, ask for Aspyn or Parker and get ready for a Cheesesteak worthy of Philly right here in Tierra Verde!"
"I was in St Pete for a week and stopped here 5 times .. love the sandwiches , fish dip and the kettle chips. I also bought wine . A small selection but it's great . I called in my order and it was always ready and the staff was super friendly . Highly recommend to support local small biz ."
"Best bagels around!!!!! Service is always friendly and fast, bagels are amazing! I come here all the time"
"Hubs has brought home sandwiches & bakery items over the years, but I hadn't stopped in on my my own. Fast-forward to January 2024, when I was tasked to find a non-traditional birthday cake to celebrate my dad's 80th & my step-mom's 79th. Alessi was my first thought, and I was not disappointed.Parking on a Friday afternoon was easy as I snagged a spot in front near the steps to the porch. Inside, I found a helpful employee behind the counter who walked me to the grab & go coolers to find the Italian Rum Cake that I wanted. She then walked me to the cashier, where I paid, & went on my way.The store was quite busy but well-staffed with efficient & friendly people. Though I was overwhelmed by the variety of baked goods & deli items available, I focused on my Italian Rum Cake mission. And that cake was incredible!"
"Barrow's is a hidden gem in South Tampa. Great food, quick service. Not pretentious. This is a great non-chain lunch spot to try out!"
"Great customer service the food was great I might be back tomorrow lol 10 out 10 i recommend go get you one"
"I have been going to this awesome meat market/Supermarket for over year and can't say enough good things about it! If you follow their Facebook page, you'll find AMAZING daily specials that you won't want to miss! Wednesday, they run a $3.99 a lb special for a whole NY strip you can cut into individual steaks! Fresh pastas and unique seasoning blends are among the special items you are also able to get there. If you've never been, take a few minutes to stop by and just walk around! The staff is super friendly and willing to help with any questions. The quality of the products are amazing!"
"Looks like your typical gas station, but it's not. Inside, you will immediately fall in love with the pirate theme and small beach town vibes this place offers up. Towards the back of the store, there is a deli counter where you can order an AVAST array of deli subs ranging from a cheesesteaks to Cubans. But beware matey, the Cuban sandwich is a bit of an impostor. While its flavor is fine, it's missing two ingredients to be authentic. One, Cuban bread. They use some sort of a French baguette, which is close but no cigar. The sign says they use La Segunda Cuban bread, but it's unlike any bread of their's I've ever seen. Second, no salami. But I say, if yer stomach be cravin' a Cuban, matey, this here sandwich will suffice! Don't be a fool like me and forget to utilize your Yelp check in offer though :(Open 24/7, but the Dunkin Donuts and grill closes 'round 11 PM most nights. You can still order deli subs.CUBAN SANDWICH REPORT CARD:Bread: French baguette Ham: Boar's head hamPork: Mojo porkSalami: NOSwiss: YesMustard: YesPickles: YesPressed: YesLettuce/Tomato/Mayo: Upon requestRating: 2.5 / 5.0"
"Excellent food! Friendly waitress. Good prices. Bit loud but we did not mind. Prices reasonable."
"Sal makes this place. It's as authentic of a deli experience as I think you can get anywhere in the world. This is a place where you go to learn about the food and what's behind some of the magic. We travel from Orlando to Sal's spot a few times a year and if we're ever in the area it is a must-visit. The Olive Oil that they have there (don't worry he'll tell you about it) is off the charts. We buy it as gifts for people. I mean seriously we're not those kind of people and here we are buying Olive Oil for our family members. It's that good. Sal always shows patience and professionalism as he gently encourages you to take a sample of what he's working on in the back or (in our most recent visit) grab a few quarts of home-made sauce. It was still warm to us when he put it in our to-go packages.Love this place, Sal, and everything it's about. Very fair prices and some seriously authentic and sometimes exotic items. Worth the drive every time."
"This place is great. One stop shop. Produce, beer, and of course the deli. They have some of the best sandwiches around. The gyro is also awesome. Fresh boiled peanuts as well! Driving by it doesn't look like much. Walk in and you will not regret."
"Simple sandwich shop with great choices and tasty food. I recommend supporting this local business."
