"Stumbled upon this place while exploring the area and it is the perfect gem! Staff is super friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING, the croissant sandwich (YUMMY), bacon pineapple muffin (DELICIOUS), Cinnamon roll (Looked questionable but was TASTY), and the signature lattes were really great! Will definitely be coming back to try more things here as the ambiance of the small cafe is perfect."
"The customer service is worth coming!!! AMAZING customer service, and Shanteil (spelling??) is the best!!! Made my trip 100% worth coming. Oh, and the breakfast is just as good as the customer service!!"

"I was craving a nice southern breakfast so I decided to order online for pick up at Maple street biscuit company. I had been here once before but I did eat at the restaurant. This time I decided to get the food for pick up to eat at home. I ordered and paid online which was a very easy process. My food was ready at the quoted time and I walked in, saw my name on the bag and walked out with my food without a problem. I got the The Farmer: All-natural fried chicken breast, pecanwood smoked bacon and cheddar cheese on a homemade biscuit. Topped with house-made apple butter, absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this place whether you are going to eat there or pick up."
"Always a fresh choice of sweet treats and the cafe con letche is on point. We enjoyed two different sandwiches, very tasty"
"Friendly staff, good coffee & food, ambiance is cute and local. Perfect for working remote or catching a quick bite."
"The location is within a hotel parking lot and it is small. The inside was closed but it looks like there might be a couple of tables. We sat outside and to use the bathroom you have to go across to the hotel lobby. There are great options on the menu and the taste did not disappoint. I would say that it is a bit pricey, and the menu didn't have prices."
"My friend has an onion allergy and this place was so kind to accommodate him with his salad. I have never been here before and the staff were so friendly in answering our questions even when there was a long line. The place is nice and clean. Our food was delicious and the staff were so helpful. What I like the most that the staff was constantly cleaning and making sure that the place is clean. I had the chicken pesto sandwich with a lobster bisque and a salted caramel iced coffee .My friend had the barbecue flatbread pizza which he ate all of it and really liked and the salad without any onions and he really enjoyed it ."
"Talk about an amazing cuban sandwich! I loved everything about it. The bread was toasted to perfection. The meat to cheese ratio was great and the taste was outstanding. Also don't sleep on their french toast. It was very delicious! They give you syrup and a side of guava sauce. The staff was very welcoming and had great recommendations. I will be returning for another cuban sandwich and cafe con Leche."
"Today, we had the pleasure of visiting The Wooden Rooster, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, the staff greeted us warmly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. The quaint restaurant itself exudes simplicity and charm, with ample natural light adding to its inviting ambiance. The menu offered a nice variety, featuring crepes and baked goods, along with a diverse selection of beverages ranging from sparkling water and coffee to mimosas and bloody Mary's, not to mention a few beer options. We opted for "The Beast-Ly" crepe special and an enchilada crepe, both of which exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, and the flavors were wonderful. Each bite was a perfect blend of savory and satisfying.Overall, The Wooden Rooster stands out not only for its delicious food but also for its warm hospitality and relaxed atmosphere. It's a gem of a place where you can enjoy a fantastic meal in a cozy setting. We can't wait to return!"
"Rise and shine! I was there around 8am and the joint was jumping! It was amped-buzzy-as caffeinated as its menu. Yeah, there's a gym next door... yeah, most of the clientele is young... yeah, it was the pre-work crowd... and really busy... so all of that contributes to the "up and at 'em" vibe. But it's also the staff, they're going hard and happy. The location is also part of it. It's in a rejuvenated area of town. It's go-go in the mo-mo (morning).., and if you're dragging, you'll leave here wagging. There's a full menu here. I meant to get Cuban toast but for some reason, ordered an Asiago jalapeño bagel. The bagel was good-it brought the heat. The hot chai tea latte was pretty... but not my favorite. It seemed a little watery to me, but that's just my taste. No matter, there are lots of other things to try. And I will definitely be back. I want to sample more of the menu-and soak up more of that productive high energy feel. I was ready to conquer when I left! You can park in the few spaces out front-and I heard one of the staffers say you can also park in the gravel lot, on the west side of the gym next door. Happy days!"
"So good. Loved everything we had here. The arepas were bomb. So we're all the pastries. Can't wait to go back!"
"I was looking for a quick place to eat eat lunch and this seems to be a very popular spot because they had quite a long line. I couldn't wait, so I went someplace else. I think because the line was so long and all the people had such happy faces, I will go back to try it out."

Tried the famous squawking goat and it was 5/5 I was nervous about the pepper jelly but combined with fried chicken and goat cheese was absolutely delicious. After taking your order they ask a question instead of name for the order. Unique experience! We were asked fav rapper. Shanti (forgive the spelling) was full of energy and brought the perfect Sunday vibes to start our day. Every establishment needs a person like her, she made our day.

Food is to die for AMAZING - I had this fried chicken with cheddar and bacon biscuit sandwich that comes with gravy and it was HEAVEN - if you are getting it to go I would order ahead of time because it can come sometimes a little while but it's worth it!! (And I wouldn't order delivery takeout bc I've ordered it twice to be delivered and it came wrong both times - but the food is AMAZING!

This little Cuban café and bakery was a delightful find! With over a hundred years of history, it's a true gem in Tampa. We started with a guava cheese pastry--huge, flaky, and bursting with flavor. It was the perfect sweet treat after our traditional Cuban sandwich. The sandwich itself was everything you'd hope for: a perfectly thin, crispy layer of bread, generous portions of meat, and that ideal mix of mayo, mustard, and pickles. Every bite hit all the right notes for a classic Cuban. We also tried the beef and cheese empanada. At first, I hesitated at the $5 price tag for a small empanada, but after one bite, it was clear it was worth every penny. It was generously stuffed with flavorful picadillo, seasoned ground beef with onions and peppers, giving it a surprising and delicious spicy kick at the end. Overall, the flavors were outstanding. This is definitely a place worth revisiting--an authentic Cuban bakery you'll want to return to again and again!

To be fair I'm rating five stars because I haven't actually been inside Buddy Brew, but I'd like to share my experience with a bag of their Holiday Blend that I picked up at Publix. Whole Bean, it was brewed just under a month ago, and I'm using a pour over method. Disclaimer, I've become a bit spoiled on a local roastery that's turning out some of the most exotic specialty coffees you might ever find. They were closed around the holidays and I had to resort to a store brand, but lucky me to have Buddy Brew, a local roaster, selling in stores! I will say that this is definitely the best store-bought coffee I've ever had. Also better than anything you'll ever taste at 'bucks or Dunkin. That said, this particular roast is so-far... uninspiring. It's very smooth, like silky smooth, and easy to drink, but the flavor is hardly there. It reminds me of when you're visiting Aunt Mary and she makes her brew so weak, you need a whole pot to feel any kick at all. Granted, it always takes a few cups to dial in a new bean. I'm only on cup two. With any different coffee though, you shouldn't have to veer "too far" from your usual brewing technique. But don't let me discourage you, they're definitely better than what you're drinking on your way to work lol. This is good coffee, and it's not just "burnt" over-roasted mass produce like what you get with large chains. No doubt, they know what they're doing. I think I need to take a trip over the bridge and get a fresh cup to really experience what they have to offer. For this particular bag, I'd give four stars.

Had their breakfast sandwich for the first time and it was absolutely delicious! Buttery biscuit and sweetened bacon were such a great combo to start my morning. I've always gone for the coffee which is my favorite in Lakeland but they just made a food customer too!

10/10 food and serviceWe got the classic Cuban, as well as their steak sandwich, both of which were phenomenal and had a generous portion of meat. The cilantro sauce on the steak sandwich was to die for, I got extra on the side to dip it in. Chips and a drink can be added to make a combo. They gave us a cortadito and cheeseburger empanada to try which was very nice of them. Both ended up being great and will be added to our order next time, with other empanada flavors to try. We have gone back twice since, highly recommend.

"This is the best little Authentic Italian Bakery, Coffee shop, brekkie/lunch Cafe with a Gourmet Italian foods & wine shop inside. The BEST ONE that I have ever seen in my life stateside. Better than ANY in New York City even. Def the most romantic. It's just like a Little Gourmet Italian Shop in Italy, that has the best selection of The freshest Italian foods, wines & coffee, all under one roof. They even have a cold cooler section of gourmet Italian "grab & go" prepared foods like Bolognese sauce, lasagna, meatballs, soups & pastas etc., & fabulous lobster ravioli! OuiOui. Last month when we were there we got the Lobster ravioli, brought it home & made it for dinner. It was so yummy. We take all kinds of foods home now, just like we do when we visit "Jimmy's" in Dallas, Texas. My other favorite Italian shop ststeside :)..Anyhoo, the Italian wine section here is small but also superb! Yes, we shop here for our "on the go grab & go" Gourmet Italian foods & wines. OuiOui. Right now they are having a summer wine Sale special. OuiOui. They also have "Italian sushi" lots of different fresh antipasti veggies available for appetizers, salads, paninis etc., The best part is they bake all their own Italian breads & pastry. They are ALL spectacular. The giant round boule is our fave & ALL the pastries are fabulous. The strawberry crema croissant is literally the best thing I have ever eaten. Hubby also says it's his #1 fave. We both also love the lemon ricotta one, the cinnamon roll, the almond crema croissant & the giant Ham & provolone stuffed plain croissant sammy. ALL of them are 2.die.4 :)...And, AND, they make the best cappuccinos/Double Cappuccinos. Pretty strong too. The single is just fine for moi. I don't think it will be safe for moi to do their double cappuccino haha. The staff is just wonderful humans, service is always so pleasant. Their outdoor dining in their little italiano gardens is so fabulous & very romantico. The tiny coffee bar inside is so much fun & the restrooms are always clean & smell nice. OuiOui. We adore everything about this Gorgeous Authentic Italiano, super unique & very romantic little Cafe. My only wish is they were open late. Added to moi list of Best Bakeries in America..Best Italiano..Best Coffee places..And Most Romantic. Will return & Often.Highest Recommendations."
"First time to Sips and it seems like the perfect place to get some work done. Lots of tables and chairs, big open space, even an area that seems fit for a conference/big meeting. I'm not a big flavor syrup girl, but if you are, they have like a million different flavors. I got a skim milk latte with stevia, and it was great. Their prices are super affordable for the size too -- I spent around $5.50 for their smallest size which is definitely as big as a medium in a lot of other places I've been!"
"I had the Sticky Maple Chicken biscuit, kind of a nod to the chicken & waffle flavor concept. It was delicious. The coffee was decent. Service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was casual and pleasant. If you're a big breakfast person a single biscuit might not be enough so consider adding a side."
"This place has the best breakfast sandwiches in Clearwater ! Me and my friends were looking for breakfast spots and we were not disappointed. The eggs were delicious and fluffy. Will definitely be back next time I come to Clearwater"
"So happy I can update my review from over 10 years ago. I went to Saigon Bay over a decade ago, but it's completely different. From reading James review, he reminded me of their awful fire in 2020, and how they rebuilt in this location. So happy to stop by here for lunch with my friend. We loved our server who was like a mom to us as soon as we walked in. I ordered a pork banh mi sandwich, & my server said get the quail appetizer, and so I did. My friend got the beef stew - Bo Kho with bread, not noodles. She did not want noodles. We shared them, and I loved the seasoning of the quail. I also loved dipping my sandwich in the broth of the stew. It was so tasty and had a sweet tinge to it. I also loved the carrots. I didn't love the beef so much but I do love the broth and veggies in the beef stew. It's different bc it's a thin broth not like a thick American beef stew.Everything was tasty here. Our server was so sweet. She spoke very good English and she made sure we mixed and made sure we ate the salad with the quail and made sure we had everything just right before we ate it.We liked our booth and there were other tables as well. The counter area is very floral and bright. It's a great spot, and we definitely adored our lunch. They open at 10:30 am."
"Coffee was delicious. Croissant was soft and buttery. Service at the drive thru was quick and friendly."
"Really lovely owner runs this espresso bar out of her house, she is so sweet and makes really excellent coffees. I'm not sure where she gets her espresso but it's the good stuff!"
"Love having breakfast here! Love their pan de bono, Colombian cheese bread, to start & the breakfast Cuban with bacon. Coffee is good & la arepa, sweet corn flat bread, is also delicious! Still have more to try but definitely recommend!"
"Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended and I will definitely be returning when I'm in Tampa!"
"What can I say. This is my favorite place in all of Pasco county. My dog and me come here daily. The drink options are endless and the staff along with their customer service is incredible. Coco gives the pup cups 5 stars as well!!!!"
"Excellent donuts my favorite is the one with the coconut Great service and fast .Definitely coming back when I'm in the area ."
"BEST WRAP in Tampa. They have delicious and super fresh wraps, flatbreads, and salads that make for the perfect summertime lunch. Paired with a Matcha Lemonade and chef's kiss. Their Buffalo Chicken wrap is so good I can't have it anywhere else now. Sit outside and enjoy car + people watching in Hyde Park. There are tons of fans outside so you aren't sweating RATINGS- Food: 10- Vibes: Vibing - Service: 9.5- Drinks: 10"
"Travelled an hour to return to one of my favorite 2018 food experiences: Alsace French Bistro. And, if possible, it was even better!Tartiflette, Croque Madame, Brioche french toast with cinnamon apples, bubbly, Crepes Suzette, Mousse au Chocolat. We've both been to Paris, but its better in Tierra Verde - bravo!!!"
"Wow what a great place the staff was so nice and attentive. The food was great I would highly recommend them."
"Comfy place to gather inside or out. Ramp included for my elderly mama was a bonus. Parfait tasted great and was presented in the cutest glass jar. Half sweet latte had perfect amount of "half sweet," and daughter loved her featured holiday latte... smidge slower than I expected and our daughter reminded me "it's handcrafted and we aren't in a hurry." Yes! Such a friendly mix of business people working, families vacationing and locals grabbing coffee before work (nurses in scrubs)."
"Always the very best ice cream in Tampa. We've enjoyed 20 plus year's of ice cream fun here. Tanya and Matt has only gotten better quality is top notch."
"Stopped in on my last visit to Dunedin. Just off the trail and right in the middle of the brewery area. The inside is a little small as it looks like a house front the outside. However they have a larger outdoor area for seating. Coffee was good enough to come back for a second and tried the Cuban version of a breakfast sandwhich. Interesting combination but definitely worth a try."
"I enjoyed the most decadent and adorable iced coffee of my life here, and loved every minute of it. Called a Spooky Sam Ghost Latte, it had marshmallow fluff ghosts, marshmallow and chocolate syrup, milk, espresso, and whipped cream. Yum!My friend and I stopped here the Sunday before a hurricane for breakfast. Because all the tables were full we decided to sit at the counter. Future visits I would wait for a table; the metal stools were very uncomfortable. Our server was friendly and engaging and came right over to get our drink order. Unfortunately, she got slammed with tables after that, so it took quite some time to put our food order in.Food came out in a timely manner, and in addition to having funny names for the dishes, the portions were huge. And delicious - I had avocado toast topped with two eggs, with a side of brunch potatoes and bacon. Holy wow was this combination perfect. This is definitely a must visit place if you are looking for a fun and delicious brunch."
"The chicken sandwiches we had for lunch were absolutely fantastic. Each sandwich featured perfectly seasoned, juicy chicken that was tender and flavorful. The jelly sauce that it came with paired well with the chicken and fried cheese! The service was a bit slow, but they were able to pick up the speed. The manager accommodate all their guests and they checked in on everyone. The place was packed but the ambiance was good. I look forward to trying more of their food items when I visit!"
"Great selection of heathy smoothie bowls, smoothies and toast varieties. Prices matched the quality and they have things down to a science with their ingredients, packaging and speed!I visited Tampa for 5 days and found myself here each morning for breakfast. The menu boards are easy to read and ambience was super hip and modern and clean!"
"My favorite coffee shop locally. I make a point to stop in and enjoy the Factory latte with some of the fine bakery items that Bella makes. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the coffee and lattes enjoyable, and the food is quite excellent. Support local! Go here!"
"Cute little cafe shop in Clearwater. I got a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and it was pretty good."
"Came here on Sunday at noon and place was hopping... very busy, but we found a seat and server could not be more prompt and personable! The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable! The ambiance was Floridian diner just as expected! They had two birthdays and staff all sang to patrons and it was a very fun and lovely diner atmosphere with good food and large portions!!!! We will be back!"
