"Lexi B was quick to arrive to take our drink and appetizer orders. The southwest egg roll was tasty. It came with a delicious ranch dipping sauce. The shrimp taco was very tasty, the fish taco had only a small fish stick size piece of fish, but good flavor. The surf and turf good flavor but needs some type of aolie, I wish I had kept the ranch from the appetizer. The chicken tinga taco was delicious. The atmosphere was bright and fun with the surfboards.Great lunch restaurant"
"My friend and I came for lunch and ate at the bar. The ambiance was nice and service was adequate. We ordered the truffle fries for an appetizer. There was a good portion of fries for two people. The fries were okay. Not the best I ever had but not the worst I ever had. I ordered the Original Poke Bowl and it was a good serving but not enough kale for me. The bowl was just okay as well. Not the best I have had but not the worst I have had. My friend ordered a roll that was usually on the dinner menu but they made it for her because they had the ingredients. That was really nice. Overall, Water and Flour was an average experience. I will try their dinner service to see how it compares. If you are looking for a neat atmosphere try Water and Flour."

"I came out here for a very special Christmas Eve dinner. I picked this place out due to it being right in the heart of the very scenic Hyde Park, which boasts a lot of festive Christmas decorations, and that it's been a place of interest of mine for some time. Best of all, is that I can take my sweet, precious Muffin with me since Dec. 23 is basically our anniversary together, and it's only proper that I enjoy a lovely meal with her by my side. Now, what surprised me is that the menu I thought would be available to me for tonight wasn't, so this review is a tad of a disclaimer, nonetheless, it's a good sneak peek of the great work they do!I really wanted to try their duck confit, but apparently, it wasn't available, so I went with what I thought was the next best thing. Their G-Life pasta and the black truffle kale salad. I start off with the salad, which was incredible! Crunchy, light, yet rich and complex from the parmasean cheese and truffle, it was the perfect size where I wasn't way too full to enjoy my main course. Which is why I'm very grateful my lovely server recommended I go with this plus the pasta when I was deliberating. Up next, I got the pasta. The fettucine indeed tasted very fresh, with colorful veggies and a light yet also flavorful cream sauce. It certainly rivaled what I've had when I was in Italy, and the plating and presentation brought me back there. Now, I wasn't trying to be ironic by ordering an entire vegetarian meal. After all, Meat is in their name. Rest assured, I'm determined to return for that Duck Confit dish. But, I think it is worth noting that the incredible vegetarian dishes are a testimony to the quality of food here, so even if I'm not feeling like meat, I'll know whatever I get will wow me."
"I treated myself to a nice valentines meal and wanted to give Timoano Hyde Park a try. I seen great reviews and food that looked amazing through pictures. Upon entrance, it is nicely decorated with a jungle or Tulum vibe. I love the placement of the restaurant. You are right in the middle of the shopping area. Which has its pros and cons (the parking is not the best). My waitress was nice and sweet also! While waiting, i seen servers cleaning the glasses left on top of the tables. So i would say this place makes sure they present themselves well and make sure items are cleaned for the next group. I ordered the carpaccio. I love Wagyu! This was a good appetizer. It was very flavorful with the truffle oil drizzled on top. I ordered the chili margarita and it was the spiciest margarita I've had but i loved it. I am not too big on sweet drinks. It had a nice balance to level out the sweetness. It was rimmed with tajin and a small chili with chili oil inside for garnish. I then had the meatballs. To me, it was lacking seasoning. But it came out fresh and hot. This is a nice place to bring friends and grab a nice bite."
"Lexi was amazing!! Our new favorite spot. If you want a good bottomless mimosa place, look no further! Request Lexi!"
"The Casa Carnevale menu is amazing! Had the Linguine Granchio and finished off with the Biscoff Gelato. All parts equally amazing. Have a LOT of fun and sit at the pasta table in the heart of the restaurant!"
"Visited here on a Sunday around 6, we were pleasantly surprised by their special: half off pasta dishes and $3 martinis. The service was good, our server was attentive. The ambiance was nice, the restaurant use to be a bank. The food was good, could have used a little more flavor but it was good. When we asked for cheese, I was expecting freshly grated cheese from a restaurant like this, I was disappointed that it was the cold shake from a jar cheese. I would visit again the next time I'm I'm Ybor, especially if they still have that special."
"Great location just blocks from Amalie arena so this is a very popular place to go before or after an event there. They have some great food and a cool top golf simulation area in the back room. They have a large dining room. I actually had a blue cheese wedge salad that was delicious. Our server was busy but made the time to regularly attend to us."
"This restaurant was so delicious. So my girls and I had our annual Galentines dinner here this year. We had a reservation for 6:30pm. (yes, I'm a sucker for an early dinner) There was a self-parking lot in the front, valet in the back, and garage parking across the street. We chose to valet, and it was only three bucks. When we got there, our table was ready, and we were seated. The restaurant's ambiance was kind of bohemian, which was cute. Our server was woo knowledgable about the menu items and gave excellent recommendations. We got a charcuterie board along with raw oysters as an appetizer. The charcuterie was delicious. The oysters were a little underwhelming but not bad. The dinner was so good. So my friend got the ribeye medium. it came with chimichurri sauce and another one that I don't remember. My other friend got the scallops. DELICIOUS!!! And I got the shrimp and Grits. All of the entrees were amazing. I really enjoyed my time here with my girls."
"Steak is delicious and so were the sides. Service was great, very professional. It reminded me of Bern's."
"A "globally inspired menu," this little dive has a creative yet simple menu. The presentation is excellent, the staff is friendly, the price is inflated considerably but you're paying for the location and environment. The seating outside is an acquired taste, lots of local foot traffic, but it's fun and the menu is fresh. It's a great alternative to the cramped and overpriced Bayshore options. Recommend if you're in downtown St Pete."
"Food is good but not plentiful for price. Usually good friendly service. Good location with ample parking."

Consider this one a must-try! Food was all very good. We tried the buffalo chicken eggrolls (2 full eggrolls, cut in half) which we really liked and they came out quickly. Next, we tried several tacos since it happened to be Taco Tuesday and we could try several kinds a la carte. My husband tried to Mongolian beef ,Jerk chicken and Surf and Turf. He LOVED the Mongolian beef, enjoyed the jerk chicken, and felt that the surf and turf was good but could be better if it had a sauce of some sort (I had this one too and agreed with him). In addition to those, I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger and Chicken tinga tacos and really enjoyed them both. Dessert was on another level though. We had the seasonal somoa churros which were crazy good. My husband also had the butterscotch creme brulee and loved that too. Our server and hostess was great, no issues at all there. They inquired about whether or not we had eaten there before and since we hadn't, a manager stopped by to ask about our experience, which we always appreciate. The ambiance was cool and my husband and I both commented that it had a really cool vibe inside. Very similar to Craft Street Kitchen (we learned that this restaurant is owned by the same people) which we have visited before and always really enjoy. They also mentioned that a new restaurant will be opening soon called Agave Social and we plan to try that one too. We will definitely be returning. We were very happy with the overall experience and the menu had lots of options that we're excited to try next time. It was hard to pick what we wanted because there were so many things that sounded good!

The ambiance is wonderful. It's a very relaxed environment and a nice spot to catch up over a meal. The food is really tasty. The menu is a tad overwhelming with so many options in various different cuisines. Service is a bit slower than expected for a fast causal environment. Staff is absolutely lovely though.

For Sunday lunch, we visited Timpano Hyde Park. Since we had made a reservation in advance, we were seated immediately upon arrival. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant was impressive, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere with guests enjoying their meals. Our server, Steven, greeted us and provided menus and water. Unsure about which appetizer to choose, we took his recommendation and ordered the Burrata. For our main courses, we went with: Funghi Crostini, Bucatini, Truffle Trotters. The Burrata arrived first, and it was a standout dish--creamy, flavorful, and complemented perfectly by pistachios, cheese, and bread. It was one of the best appetizers we've had and set a great tone for the meal.Next, our main courses arrived. The Truffle Trotters were a bit underwhelming, and we regretted not choosing Truffle Fries instead. However, the Funghi Crostini and Bucatini were well-prepared, delicious, and served in generous portions.Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Timpano and had a great Sunday afternoon lunch.

Listen I needed more food after getting jipped at another restaurant!! But that's a review for another time! I'm not gonna lie I was just trying to be basic and order a side of fried but the waitress got me to try their tacos and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! They were juicy, delicious and had me licking my lips wanting more. PAUSE... The server was cool and super friendly and helpful tbh. She also had me trying a beer I never had before. The vibe of the place is definitely sports bar which was perfect since Im a sports fan. All in all it was a great experience!

Even in Ybor City, right in Tampa, you can find a good Italian restaurant. Yes, you can get a pizza and a sandwich. But step inside a few others and you can find a real home-made Italian Meal. And when you come to Casa Santo Stefano you will find cooking the way it is made in Sicily. It is made like typical Italian fare, but here it is with the touch of what you might find in Sicily. More sauce. More garlic. A touch of heat and spice. It is what you would find there but you have here in Ybor City itself. We went inside and were given a seat. It is good to have a reservation even for lunch sometimes. The team was great. The young man was ideal. Started with beverages and suggestion of what we might find for today. Once he came back with the beverage we asked more questions. He is in no rush. You can take your time and prepare to stay for some time to eat, talk, and enjoy. The first thing we decided to have was an antipasti of meatballs and another of the grilled sausage. This was a good way to start. The meatball was made fresh. It was cooked in a sauce they are famous for. This was a delight to have. As for the sausage, this is not a big sausage. It is the round sausage that a true Italian knows of. This was grilled in oil and half a lemon. The flavor of the cooked lemon was different. It was warm and tasty. Dip in some bread and it was good to have before the entree. As for the entree, we did start with a fresh Lasagna. Had to have that. It is what you expect if you made it at home. It had around 3 layers and was filled with cheeses and sauce. A good size to share. Which we did as we sampled everything we ordered. Next we had home-made Gnocchi alle VerdureFresh potato gnocchi tossed with cremini mushrooms, broccolini, baby spinach, peas, garlic and shallots in a light cream sauce with Pecorino Romano cheese. This is alone a meal that four people could share as the pasta course. Of course, had to have Linguine with Clams. This was sautéed and simmered in white wine, fresh grape tomato sauce, shallots, garlic, spicy crushed red pepper. Again, heavy with garlic and some might want it lighter. But overall it was something to enjoy. the clams were fresh for the day. Finally, had a traditional house dish...Pasta alla Norma. Made with Sicilian Casarecce pasta, fried eggplant, house-made tomato sauce, garlic, grated ricotta salata cheese. This was a meal you could not stop having. Perfect. After the fresh meals and courses, had to finish with an Espresso. It was freshly made. This was not from a store. This was from the espresso pot itself as you find in Italy. It was a good size amount which is ideal if you like a good espresso.Casa Santo Stefano is a good place to find in Ybor. You might never know it was there. It is off the main street just behind a famous restaurant Ybor is know for. The selections are good. The team is helpful. The prices are great based on the amount and quality of the food you will be having. We liked it so much, we shall have a family event there later in the year. Buona!

Me and my friend happen to come by here while being out downtown Tampa. We decided to go in to see what kind of food they offer. They had great music, range of all different drinks you can pick from. They also separate room that had its own bar and area that looks like you could play virtual golf or other games. We just went to get a burger and just relax from having a long night out. I had the truffle burger. It was pretty good and the truffle was throughout the whole burger. I wish they would add truffle oil to the fries that would've made it even better. My friend end up getting a shrimp dish and she said that it was cold. The waiter was nice and helpful. They had a lot of nice paintings throughout the restaurant. Also, if you're waiting to go to Morgan's Cove, it's a back hallway that you can go to get there.

"Amazing date night at 82 Degrees last night! Our Uber was late and we ended up being 10 minutes late for our reservation (we called to let them know) and they were so kind to hold our spot. When we got there they apologized we had to wait a few minutes for our table (even though it was our fault) and the assistant manager gave us a free round which I thought was so kind! We were seated upstairs with a beautiful view of the Gulf and live music wafting up from the downstairs patio. The place itself is so perfect for the beach with such a romantic and laid back vibe. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and my hubby had the Some Peach. His drink was made by a twining bartender and the guy did a great job it got even better as the ice melted. Perfect blend of peach and gin.The chef came out to speak with me about my shellfish allergy and was so accommodating about what he could make for me safely. Our food was delicious and fresh! I had pan seared grouper and a caprese salad and it was the best I've had since we moved down here. Definitely going to be one of our favorite spots, can't wait to try brunch!"
"Fresco's is located in downtown Lakeland and parking isn't hard to find on the weekends. There was plenty of parking around 10am. We were seated with a call in reservation but it's just really better to show up early and get a table before it gets busy for brunch. If you have Chase as your waiter, you're guaranteed to have a great time with great service. He made sure we were taken care of and even recommended a watermelon mojito when I didn't want the blackberry one and it was absolutely delicious!Turkey BLT: 5/5, it was loaded! Fries were really good! Steak bowl: 3/5, it was okay. Creme brulee: 1/5, I don't recommend at all. It was very bland and nothing close to a creme brulee. Food and drinks were good but Chase is the #1 reason we would go back, he was awesome and his vibe was very welcoming. Try out Fresco's if you're ever in Lakeland!"
"Finally got to Wild Child for the first time and I'm bummed it took me this long! I ordered the Lost Weekend cocktail with mezcal, split the brussels + ceviche + chicken entree. I loved the drink, and the brussels sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. The vinaigrette that was on them was really special. The ceviche was delicious too, the seafood fresh and the crisps crispy! The chicken was great, but nothing exciting after being so obsessed with everything else I ate. I also ate some of my friend's fries, which were fantastic. Can't wait to come back and try more soon!"
"12/26/24. We were here celebrating the holidays in Tampa and were encouraged by other Yelpers to have dinner here. They were absolutely correct in their recommendations because we loved it! First of all, I loved the Madame Fortune speakeasy ambiance. I had never been to one. This was a treat. We entered the Roast Deli store from the street where we parked and were welcomed by the hostess and then the bookcase started to open and we entered into a wildly decorated and beautifully decorated darkly lit bar and restaurant. I immediately felt excited wondering what was happening next. Was I on a movie set? I was ready, ha ha.We were warmly welcomed by our lovely server, Chanel No.5, aka Shannelle. She gave us some good recommendations. Ti start with, my daughter ordered a drink called Find Your Fortune and found it to be delicious. I wanted cold still water. The food selections all sounded good but I picked Pepper Pot Shepards Pie, which was Really good! It came with the delicious Cornbread and a bean and spinach salad. Great meal! Loved it. My daughter ordered the Lamb Chop entrée and loved it. There was great R & B Rythym and Blues music playing in the background to increase everyone's mood to soothing and relaxed. Chanel checked on us every so often at the right times. She was absolutely the best! For dessert, we picked a slice of 4 layer chocolate cake to share. We didn't know it was the size of half a cake, lol. We had a few bites and took it back to the hotel room for later. If you are a chocoholic, then this cake is for you!! The very fresh and sweet strawberries on it were amazing! We had a fabulous dining experience and will definitely be back next time we are in Tampa! Thank you, Shannelle and MF."
"Fun bar at the end of the night! Great pizza too from what I remember...will def come back here again. We went both nights btw for the weekend late night. The owner is wonderful too."
"Since the first time my wife and I picked up pizza from here, whenever we have a hankering for pizza we don't go anywhere else. We usually get the double pepperoni pizza (16-inch), which came out to $30.87 with 10% tip. The pizza is very good, and very slightly spicy. Good cheese pull, crust is a good thickness. We have also had the bruschetta al prosciutto on previous occasions, which has arugula, fig preserves, shaved parmigiano, and balsamic glaze drizzle. It is very fresh and very very good. We don't get it when we are getting pizza for takeout, because getting both the pizza and bruschetta is a bit expensive and very greedy. I would highly recommend it though. Overall, on a scale of 5, I would give Via Italia a 4.8/5 (only because it is a little on the expensive side). On a scale of 10, I would give it a 9/10."
"What a great little spot for happy hour. Came with old friends to reconnect and they have some great drinks on the menu. Parking is on the street and you can pay for the lot across the street.Food was actually better than I expected their flatbreads are fantastic and everyone really enjoyed their time. It is a small place but they were able to accommodate 8 of us! Perfect for after work drinks or a casual dinner."
"Came here for a friend's birthday (party of 12 - dinner and karaoke). Every staff person was friendly, attentative, and genuinely seemed to care about us having a great time. We started our dinner on the patio. I'm pescatarian, so there were veggie dumplings, veg rice, and plain fries for me, my husband ate the chicken and everything was delicious! The decor is cute and the karaoke was a lot of fun! I'm glad they gave us to-go boxes at the end because there was a lot of food leftover. I'd love to come back here again and try more of the menu."
"We came to work from Dunedin Cafe (September 2024) next door and needed lunch. Called ahead and asked about outlets to work from the restaurant and they were extremely kind and accommodating. Attentive service from Ben had us well taken care of.The tomatillo salsa was pretty gooey but had good flavor (we finished it). We got taco specials and the chicken with aioli one which was my favorite bc of the aioli. The cocktails were good, but the pineapple white sangria was a bit tart/sour? For my taste though my friend really liked it.I got the Tokyo dog which is just a shrimp tempura on a slice of bread topped with sauce but very good!!!"
"I read the reviews before arriving and surmised that almost half of the patrons received poor service. Our experience was positive and the food was prepared perfectly and came out quickly. We will definitely go again and recommend to friends."
"We had a great time here tonight. It's a great bar with fun and strong drinks at the very top of a building overlooking all of Clearwater. Fun times much be back again"
"Incredible. Just incredible! Daughter and I were shopping around Hyde park and wanted something to eat. We walked down the street and discovered Ro. And "oh ro" glad we did :) We walked in and were able to be seated immediately without a reservation. Very classy inside. Seating is comfortable and the layout of this place is pleasing to the eye. They have table seating, bar seating and sushi bar seating. Upon sitting, we were greeted by our server, Kyle. Kyle was AMAZING! Very attentive and cordial. Made conversation with us and made us feel welcome and valued as a customer. We ordered edamame as our appetizer. These were very tasty. They did have some spicy stuff on them but not on all of them. I actually didn't know until I happened to take one that had a small brown looking spice on it. For our food, we ordered the Ro and Dragon rolls to share. I've never had sushi with the raw fish. I typically only get it if it's fully cooked and deep fried. So me ordering thinking this was going to be deep fried and / or fully cooked. So when these rolls arrived at the table I was thinking I wasn't going to eat. Then I sucked it up and went for it. These were absolutely delicious. I do have to say that this was the best sushi I've had. I experienced something new and fell in love. We did like the Dragon roll the best. But we both agreed that we'd definitely be back here!! Also when done eating Kyle surprised us with matcha soft serve which was amazing!! Definitely try this place because you won't be disappointed!!"
"Omigosh! Yaaaassss! It's vegan heaven! We are so in LOVEEEE! We were totally satiated with our selections. We started with the Whipped Ricatta, then ordered the Skyway Melt Burger & the Kimchi Fried Rice and a spicy margarita with a Tajin rim! We finished our meal with the Cherry Blossom & Lemon Beignets! So fabulous and so incredibly delicious! We'll be back in a couple of days... like, for real!"
"This is a hidden gem. I have eaten here twice, both time fantastic. Both my visits were for lunch but this visit I tried the hand tossed pizza. It was fantastic. Very nice little facility, but kinda hidden on the back of this lot. Nice outdoor seating, but I have always set inside.Service has always be great and I'm hoping to go back again this week while I'm in Tampa."
"Cantina has been an amazing addition to the Trinity area. Its a bright, bold and beautiful restaurant space with a huge and inviting outdoor seating area. Its more of an upscale menu with traditional favorites and tasty new options. They offer a great happy hour daily with food and drink specials as well as a ton of different options for their taco Tuesday special. With prices starting at $3. They offer a brunch menu too which is equally as delicious with bottomless mimosas and bloody mary options. I have hosted my Birthday brunch on the patio with over 20 guests and it was a wonderful experience. They also offer a semi private back room perfect for celebrations. All staff is very nice but Bree is our favorite server. She's efficient and fast."
"What a great experience , from David our host to Scott our server The service and attention excellent Thank you Scott for your recommendations and David for the great tableI started with the chorizo pastry puffs followed by the rib eye steak accompanied by asparagus and cheese fondue . My date choose the bronzed red drum, pretty amazing both entrees The drinks also amazing , we tried the smoking gun to star and I paired my steak with an old fashionedAfter the great dinner There was no space for dessert , may be next time"
"I can't believe I've been living around for so long and never went to Apollo's Bistro until last night. Last night, my friends and I went for dinner, and we had a great time.I usually see their sign but always thought it's a community kind of place, but it's a nice restaurant. Our server Steph was nice and took great care of us. We enjoyed our drinks: Margarita and wine. They even let us try one of their seasonal drinks, a pumpkin beer, but the Margarita won.It seems like everyone enjoyed their meal: steak, chicken, and flatbread. We did love our desserts. In general, we had a great time, and the ambiance was nice.I had a 50% off my appetizer for checking in, which was a bonus.I will definitely come back!"
"I usually don't do reviews, but felt obligated to warn other diners about the shrimp and grits at this place. We were here with a group of 10 people. I was the only one to order the shrimp and grits. I'm a big fan of shrimp and grits and have tried many versions around the US. This has to be the worst iteration of this dish I have ever had. The dish consists of cheddar cheesy grits and 5 small blackened shrimp set on top. No bacon pieces, scallions, tomatoes, green peppers, no sauce and served with French fries on the side which I thought was weird. The grits were tasteless even with the cheese and the shrimp were over cooked. Don't order this entree! The rest of our group had no issues with their choices and really the main reason you come here is for the music. They have some very good local bands play. Also I want to add the service was very good!"
"Before hitting a show at the Straz, I was excited to try this place out. The ambiance from even outside with the NY-style scaffolding to the lovely rich interior as you walk in felt like we had a great place in downtown to eat!We were seated and our server was nice and attentive...we ordered some apps and one in our party is GF AND DF! That's quite a combo, so we had some questions and we opted for a couple of appetizers. One was the deviled eggs, we weren't sure if there was dairy or not in these, so we also ordered the hummus which was supposed to be rainbow carrots (as you can see in the picture, it was your normal ordinary bunch of orange carrots). While we were enjoying these, as the flavors were good! We learned that the deviled eggs were both GF AND DF! Unfortunately our friend who couldn't eat those things did not get to have any. They put in for another order for us, that was very nice!! and appreciated. Both appetizers were yummy. I'd order them each again, although would really like the actual rainbow carrots (so include the whites and purples next time). Here is where the show really went down. We had all ordered the salmon. The salmon tasted ok. They were all just a bit overcooked. And the vegetables were like straight out of the Publix frozen mixed veggies box. Without any flavor or seasoning. Literally with the lima beans and corn... They did add some halved grape tomatoes and scallions, but even with that, flavorless vegetables! Coupled with the slightly overcooked texture of the fish, it just ruined the whole vibe. The check came in a book, all discreet-like. Cute touch. Again, our service was good, we enjoyed the ambiance, but the food is really what you're there for and it sadly just wasn't worth what you're paying these prices for."
"Little Tina was so cute inside! Staff was very friendly and I got the Avocado toast and a vanilla latte and the both were so good!"
"Seafood was good and so was the service. You can get oysters on the half shell by the half dozen or dozen"
"Have dined at The Bistro half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. Great ambiance. The aroma of the wood burning pizza oven adds to the atmosphere. Quality of the food is wonderful."
"Loved our server, he was very attentive and energetic. The music was great as was the atmosphere. The food .... phenomenal"
