"Easily one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. It's tucked into a strip mall so looks can be deceiving. For starters the service was outstanding. The severs name was Yoko and she was great. The food was top notch. I had the sesame chicken with white rice and it was delicious. I also sampled the fried rice and the garlic shrimp and both were great. Everyone in our party was very happy with the food.Lastly the decor was great. Very retro looking. Felt like the 80's again lol.Highly recommended."
"What a wonderful spot to get away from those seafood beach vibes and have a higher class culinary experience. Vegetarian pho is the best I've had in my 20 yrs as a vegetarian. The indoor and outdoor seating are both excellent and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend."

"Whether I'm having a bad night and need a quick dinner or everyone in the household is looking for a Chinese dish chopstick express is our families go to I love the drive-through. You can see everything as you pull up being prepared and the staff is so friendly and helpful, definitely great place for some quick Chinese food"
"We came here during lunch/dinner as the park closed early and it was meant for us to go there before our flight. This place is located in a shopping mall. I ordered the pork cutlet and wife ordered the stir fried noodle. Food came out very fast. We had to eat fast due to our flight, but the food and portions were great size. Would come here again."
"Been to Masa three times. We have been pleased every time. The minute you walk in you're greeted. We've been seated promptly and a server arrives quickly with a menu and your drink order. The food comes out quickly and steaming hot! Then comes the good part, very tasty and nice size portions. On our last visit we had chicken lomein and Basil shrimp. Both were excellent! Of the 4 Asian restaurants in Spring Hill this has the very best food. Five stars"
"Need to update this to 5 stars! Asian Yummy House is consistently delicious food. This is my fave Chinese restaurant in the area. This past year, I've been trying a few of the other small takeout Chinese restaurants nearby. Asian Yummy House is still the best. We ordered takeout. My food was ready when I arrived to pick it up 20mins after I ordered it. Salt & pepper calamari was pretty good. Shredded pork w/ green beans is always good. I think I order this almost every time. Chicken w/ eggplant in garlic sauce was delicious... first time ordering this & I love it! Today was also the first time I ordered beef chow fun, and that was DELICIOUS also! If you've never been here, you need to check it out. I need to dine in again some time. It's nice inside & they offer a lot of seating."
"Food was delicious, and no wait time! Drinks also came quick. Ceiling is painted like a sky and the highlight of the restaurant is the cherry blossom tree in the middle of the buffet section. Would recommended hibachi noodles and beef with garlic sauce."
"I have tried this place twice now and both times the food has been so freaking good! the portions are good for the cost. the spice can be kicked up and it is still sooooo good! i've tried the shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, sesame chicken, the krab wontons all delicious. easy and fast pick up and they're nice! small little place but gives a nice homie feel."
"My wife and I ate lunch here as we have had a difficult time finding a good Asian restaurant. When we walked in, the hostess greeted us immediately and sat us in a booth. The ambiance is nice, but it was a bit warm and humid inside and there was a strange musty odor. It was off-putting, but we decided to stay and try the food. We ordered egg rolls as an appetizer and there were good. Very crunchy and the filling was delicious. We both ordered off the lunch menu and had the Chicken Teriyaki bento box, which came with 2 pieces of gyoza and 4 pieces of California Rolls. Chicken was white meat and tender, and the sauce had good flavor. They added sautéed onions, which surprisingly worked well with the dish. We ordered the bento box with fried egg rice instead of white rice, but it was rather plain. Overall, the food was good, the service was excellent, but the humidity and strange odor were the two issues we had with the restaurant. We'll be back to try additional dishes, and hopefully they turn up the AC next time and get some sort of air purifier!"
"Never had a bad meal here and prices are comparable to other Chinese take out restaurants in the area. Love their crab Rangoon and shrimp and broccoli. Service is fairly quick and always friendly. We'll continue to be regulars!"
"I highly recommended the beef with udon noodles. Such a good quality meat. The chicken with broccoli was o k but not my favorite. I tried the wonton soup and that was excellent."
"Just stopped in for a drink since I have meaning to try this place for a bit and I was not disappointed. For me, it's been hard to find a good boba without a 30/45 minute drive so I was very happy to have found this place. Boba pearls were the perfect consistency and the tea had such a good flavor. The younger women who took my order was also very nice and answered all my questions without a problem. I will definitely be back to try the rest of their flavors!"

The location is furnished like a classic sit down Chinese restaurant which is hard to find. The service is also traditional and friendly. The food is amazing, though beware the egg rolls have shrimp inside. We've enjoyed chicken and broccoli and Szechuan chicken as well as the fried rice and lo mein. It was understandably busy on a Saturday night, which is a good indication the food is consistently good.

Food is some of the better Chinese i have had in the area. Always ready on time and reasonably priced. There was a miscommunication with my order because all specialty rolls are fried and it did not state that on the menu, when I called they were able to handle it no problem and offered me a new roll.

After-work meal with two co-workers, hardly anyone there at 5pm on a Monday evening. We warmed up with takoyaki, chicken skewers. beef skewers, and pork burger. The takoyaki were crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside. The skewers were also just a tad crispy, with a strong cumin flavor to them. The pork burger wasn't my favorite. I prefer big pieces of juicy fatty pork belly to the tiny little lean cubed pork here. Our mains were both showstoppers. The stir-fried wide hand pulled noodles were perfectly chewy and coated in the most savory broth/gravy/sauce. Enough meat and veggies in there to contribute their flavors and textures without taking away from the star of the show, the noodles. The hot pot was loaded with goodies including quail egg, lotus root, and fish balls. The broth was perfect. I ate way too much. I waddled out. I'll be back.

This review is for a to go meal. Wife and I were craving Chinese so we tried Asian Yummy House. We'd been there before but its been awhile. I ordered thru the website (easy to navigate, areal plus). We had Mongolian Beef and Beef Chow Fun. When did Mongolian Beef's recipe change from green onion and beef to white/yellow onion and beef? I can only guess that the yellow onion is cheaper but let me tell you it's not the same dish with it. Disappointing. The beef was very tender. The chow fun was good, same beef, good noodles. Good thing I ordered extra vegetables for &1.00 otherwise there wiuldn't have been any. The food was hot and tasty though. I wish I didnt have to complain about the problems because we enjoyed our meal. Minus one star for the onion/veg things.

The latest reviews about the food being okay are correct. We went for dinner on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. The sushi was okay but everything else was pretty "mid". I wish there was more flavor. We saw a lot of people with sushi on their plates which if you're just wanting to eat the basic then you can go here. Customer service was okay. Unfortunately, not worth the price.

We got delivery and it was decent Chinese food, but not exceptional. They also unfortunately got our order wrong even after repeating it back to us on the phone. You also may have to call a couple times (we had to) in order for them to pickup. Hot & Sour soup - had a ton of sizeable unchopped mushrooms in it. First time I had experienced this in hot & sour and personally, not a fan of mushrooms. The rest of the soup was okay. Husband enjoyed it (he likes mushrooms a lot). 2 Egg Rolls - pretty average but hit the spot if you're craving one (which I was :) General Tso's Chicken - really good! Would order this again Sesame Chicken - we had ordered Sesame Beef, but the chicken that was delivered to us was pretty good. Very undercooked broccoli came with this & the chicken order above. White Rice - good, cooked well Total was around $41 so it is a little pricey (before tip). Not sure how much they charged for actual delivery as they never mentioned this.We will be trying other local Chinese places next time, but would recommend the General Tsos Chicken!

"Went to this Chinese place as it is hard to find a sit down Chinese place to eat anymore. The ambiance here is nice, quiet and like the typical family Chinese restaurants you're used to seeing up north. The wait staff are very attentive and polite. The menus have many options and the prices are not bad, did not expect the portion sizes. Definitely enough food to share. The best part is no MSG.I will be back."
"Everytime I get food here, it's so good! I've gotten it at least 3 times and everything is consistent. Thank you for being the best Chinese food spot!"
"In town on business and wanted chinese so I did pick up to take back to my hotel.I order the General Tso Chicken extra spicy. The taste was good but no spice at all. Not a single red chilli pepper in there and it was a little soggy, definitely not crispy. I also ordered the beef on a stick and that was spot on.All together I would order here again but I wouldn't order the General Tso. If I try it again I think I'll go for Kung poa and see if they can get some spice in there."
"So for those of you who don't know let me put you onto one of the best things about Asian cuisine. Dim sum is authentic Asian food made to order and served small plate style. The possibilities are endless and ha long bistro does it well, I did enjoy the shrimp and chive dumplings more than the shrimp ones. Everything I tried was excellent but I would advise you to eat the chicken feet last because they are crazy flavorful and should be eaten last or possibly with something to reset the palate before trying other things. The service was what I'd expect from any dim sum restaurant , friendly and quick paced. Overall I had an awesome experience and highly recommend you try ha long bistro for some dim sum !!"
"Great hidden gem. Tried this place after seeing it and totally glad I did. The food was great and the service was too. Prices are decent and they have a good variety as well It's my new spot from now on!"
"We love the Peking House. It's one of Lakeland's little treasures, not quite hidden away south of downtown on South Florida Avenue. It is the only sit-down Chinese restaurant in Lakeland. When I found that out and saw pictures online, I became very excited because it reminded me of restaurants I had been to as a child. Inside, it still has that old world Chinese-American looking antique feel with the large red moondoor separating two dining rooms. It's hard to define the Peking House, it's not fancy, it's not casual, it kind of straddles both. They do a lot of take-out, especially now with the pandemic, but before they had table cloths and you could feel fancy while eating in your nice blouse and jeans. Their menu has both the standard favorites and house specialties, including duck. Their food is so good. We are egg drop soup and egg roll fanatics and they make some of the best. Always fresh. Any dish you order, is always very generous with the meat versus vegetable ratio. Also, when you order a spicy dish, they will ask you what heat you would like: medium, hot, or extra hot. Medium is very good, hot is HOT, AND we've never tried extra hot! Their fried rice is very savory and flavorful. One of our fave tips, a regular dinner entree can be enough for two people. There is a LOT of food packed in those to go containers. Add soup and a couple of egg rolls and you've got a very affordable meal. Another tip - the main door looks to be on the corner of S. Florida Ave. and W. Oak Dr. but it's not, it's actually the door on W. Oak Dr. that faces Southgate Shopping Plaza. Drive down W. Oak Dr. and park behind that little shopping center that holds Peking House. There is actually plenty of parking there. If not, park in Southgate Plaza."
"Always good, never make a mistake, my go to Chinese place now. Try it and you won't be disappointed"
"Moved to a new neighborhood so clearly I had to try out the closest Chinese food. I ordered online and went to pick it up. After ordering online it said between 20 and 30 minutes. I went after 20 and it was ready to go! Their Covid set up was a bit overwhelming but I quickly figured out what went where as far as paying and getting food. They do need some sort of bell on their door because I walked in and no one had a clue I was there for a minute or so. I ordered the small egg drop wonton soup and an order of shrimp and mixed vegetables. Everything was warm so that was a good first step. The soup didn't really have much taste, but the wonton was good. The shrimp and vegetables are huge and well sauced. Overall not bad. Will definitely explore the menu some more! I will say, I was a bit disappointed I didn't get a fortune cookie, but that's a silly thing to be disappointed about!"
"This is our go to Chinese restaurant in the area. They are consistently good on quality and speed of delivery. Great bourbon chicken and potstickers."
"My husband and I live in Ybor and honestly have NOT found a good chinese place since we moved in. I decided to look on my community page of our condo association to see if anyone had any recommendations. There were like 6-7 people that had recommended this place on a thread, so we decided to give it a whirl. It was late Friday night after running some errands and we were both just too lazy to cook. We had a hinkering for chinese food and scoped out their menu online. YEP! This was it for the night. At this point the menu caught our attention, so we ordered an appetizer of krab ragoon, 1 egg roll, the Bourbon chicken, and shrimp chop Suey for pick up. We sat around for a few minutes and decided to head over.We rolled into the parking lot and this place was packed. I mean, like full parking lot. My husband went in and within minutes he was out with our food. When I tell you it was fresh, i mean it. We got home and ripped open the bag. Both of our meals were huge, so big in fact that we ate it the next day, too. The food was delicious, like definitely what we were looking for in the neighborhood. Also, if you ask for their hot chili sauce - know that it is RIDICULOUSLY hot, but still great."
"Great food, but make sure you order from the correct spot.I was particularly annoyed that we ordered from the wrong spot, because on the website there's only one location listed. It turns out that if you order takeout you need to scroll down and choose your location. Being that there's only one location on the website I didn't realize there were two open. We ended up going to the wrong location and then had to drive here which was further. The second annoying thing are the menus are different. For example, you can only get scallion pancakes at the other location. That's usually a Christmas Day tradition for us so I just assumed they got rid of it. Turns out we were just ordering from the wrong location. The good is the food was still very good, even though we ended up eating it about an hour after it was prepared. The beef is amazing, we should always order everything beef. The kids ate the beef lo mein and we got beef and broccoli. We also ordered sesame chicken which was good (randomly the kids didn't eat that). I got the duck, which isn't fatty at all, but it comes with a seasoning that I dipped it into which made it delicious.Inside was clean and bright. They have shelves at the very front where they leave the take out orders, which is convenient. Overall, this place is good if it's closer to you. Otherwise, I'll stick with their other location."
"Our Jewish tradition of Chinese Food around the Holidays! As usual the food is delicious and satisfying. Happy Holidays Ya'll and if you're already eating here may I say Mazel Tov to you!!!"
"I do not understand some of these negative reviews of this place. My wife and I were in plant City and stopped in for lunch. The staff was so friendly and nice. The service was awesome. The food was delicious fresh and hot. We used to go to a buffet in Apollo Beach. Will you not go anymore because of the service and the food went so far downhill. Next time we're in plant City we would definitely be stopping in here. When I cleanest nicest restaurants I've been in a while. This is outstanding buffet and you definitely should try it."
"It's still a pleasure to order from this joint; too bad it's still in a crappy part of Largo but I'm glad they're doing well. They finally partnered with DoorDash if you don't feel like driving there. However if you want the best Chinese takeout in the area then you NEED to make the trip.Prices here have kinda gone through the roof. What used to cost me about $42 now cost me $52 and change! However with all due fairness you still get generous portions of steaming hot food. It's still delicious, and the couple that runs it is still the best! Sister in law is a bit of a rude grump, but hubby and wife are the friendliest folks I've ever seen running a Chinese takeout.Tonight's haul was the same stuff as usual: shrimp toast, pork fried rice (well done, lots of bean sprouts), Gen. Tso chicken, wonton soup, hot and sour soup, fried dumplings and this time, boneless ribs (closest I'll ever get to char siu in Largo). They have a few tables over on the side for eating your grub if you're really that hungry. Since the Rona, they have used their seating area as a storage room for their supplies and dry goods. That is still the case, with more boxes than ever cluttering up the corner all the way to the ceiling. Reminds me of the NYC takeout joints I used to frequent way back when. Thankfully, the food does too. They, like too many other take out joints around here, put "New York" on their menu cover, and even have a sketch of Lady Liberty alongside for good measure. That annoys me to no end, because NYC STILL has the best Chinese takeout you'd ever wanna eat. In this case, however, I don't fault these people one bit. Why? I still say this is the best Chinese take out I've ever had since moving down here. Do yourself a favor by giving these folks your business."
"As far as "strip mall" Chinese goes, for me Hong Kong is the best in the area.Sure, I prefer more authentic fare like Asian Pearl or Chef Li, but sometimes I need a quick meal without making a long drive. The beef, pork, and chicken are all good here with no chewy "mystery meats."They even have my favorite, "Beef Ho Fun." I never see that offered at strip mall joints, and their version is very good.My only negative is as with all fast take-out Chinese, why the yellow "fried rice?" Proper fried rice is seasoned with soy sauce and is slightly brown. Yellow rice usually comes from saffron, which is seldom used in the Asian kitchen.I'll never make peace with the yellow rice these places serve. Eh...Finally, their service is fast and efficient, and their prices are very reasonable."
"My family loves Chinese buffets and have been to almost every one from New Port Richey to Naples and Clearwater to Orlando and Daytona. No matter which ones we try, this one is still the BEST of them all. We come here at least 2-3 times a month, and everybody we've ever invited raves about it. Always busy so the food is always fresh, and their hibachi is great. I love this place!"
"Great lunch place. Love the fact that you can order online and pick it up. I typically order spicier food when available and I was quite pleased with my spice level, including the extra chili oil I ordered for it. I will be ordering here often."
"This place gets the job done!I got an order of Beef and Broccoli and I felt like they legit gave me half of a broccoli in the stir fry. I love broccoli, so I'm happy they give me so much. The beef was good, but def. Needed more salt. I like that they tenderize it with baking soda, which I tasted a little bit of it cause it's a fantastic ingredient for making the beef velvety.I didn't like the stir fried rice 'cause I prefer white rice personally.I always get a Quart Size of Hot & Sour soup. This doesn't have meat and the only thing it's missing is dried lily flower. This plaza is insanely busy during rush hour. I got stuck trying to leave 'cause of the backed up traffic from Chick-fil-A, which clogs up the parking lot, so stay away from this congested area when you park if possible!"
"There are a couple of different take out Chinese restaurants in the Ruskin/Apollo Beach area, but we are loyal to China Wok because they have always been consistent in taste, and it is such a quick and convenient location. The staff are always friendly, and our order is always ready when scheduled. They do have seating inside, but we have always ordered our food to bring home.I always get the egg drop soup and the combination platter of the chicken with vegetables that comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. It's a generous portion, and I always have leftovers. My husband always gets the general tso chicken combination platter that also comes with pork fried rice and an egg roll. He too always has some leftovers. They have a good size menu with a lot of options, and the prices are reasonable."
"Nice lady, fast food(10 min.), GREAT valuePreviously I thought the chicken and brocoli wasn't very good so i must even out the stars. I liked the general tso chicken, it does have some spice like i like it. The lunch special is 11-3:30 which is amazingly long and enough to get lunch on a flexible time. The menu's are very good and even include pictures of the food, reminds me of new york and authentic Chinese take out restaurants. I think you should try this take-out it if you like chinese or need something quick. It is better than fast food and really has good flavor, service and is close to grocery stores and shops! To improve: i wasnt too happy about chicken and brocoli shape or feel. Thank you for reading"
"When you have lived in New York or have tasted Chinese food from New York, everywhere you travel you hold that Chinese Restaurant with Great Expectations. At the moment China Garden is holding that SPOT! Their Chinese food has that taste that seriously hits that spot! I give them 5 stars based on their taste, employees being respectful and profesional. The times I have order they are very busy! Clients are never disappointed. As a customer I would like to recommend them fixing their location. It can use a little more aesthetic. Other than that, their food is GREAT! ESPECIALLY their fried wontons (Chinese dumpling filled with meat). Enjoy!"
"The family did takeout for Christmas Day dinner while we were visiting them in the Tampa area. The restaurant was very busy, of course, but they'd phoned in the order in advance, and it was ready for pickup fairly soon after it was promised.I tried their egg rolls, and they were very good. The right kind of "wrapper" and the inside had crunchy veggies. Don't you just hate those soggy ones? We'd also ordered pork with Chinese vegetables and Singapore rice noodles. They'd ordered beef with broccoli and general Tso's chicken. We got a taste of all the entrees. We were pleased with everything -- not an easy task with take out that travels home in a box. And the family and even the kids liked everything, too.My husband also had their hot n sour soup to start and said it was excellent. They live not far away from this place but had never ordered from here before. I think that this may become their new "go to" restaurant for take-out Chinese Food."
"I've been seeking out a place to get fried dumplings in the Carrollwood area. Tried some other places. Not pleased at all. Well today I decided to give China Garden a try. Fried Dumplings and Egg Rolls is all I ordered. Great price was a bonus. And I am so happy to say that I have found my local Fried Dumplings place. They are delicious. Seriously. I can't wait to get them again. They definitely stuff them with a great amount which is amazing. So yes.... I am super happy."
