They were ready 43 seconds after I ordered them which also means they were not hot or fresh. The Ranch dressing looked like it had been partially used so I did not have any dipping sauce. I will not order from here again."

"It's a Louisiana based fried chicken chain found mostly in convenience stores and gas stations. The Krispy Krunchy Chicken sign at the Lithia Food Mart always looks so enticing. I've passed by it so many times over the years. But it wasn't until recently that I decided to try it after seeing many reviews from Yelp friends at other locations. I don't really know much about this location. All I know is that they are closed on Sundays. I attempted to go there twice in 2 days. That's my bad for not checking the hours of operation.Anyway, I walked in on a Monday to fresh chicken and honey biscuits. Their online menu appears to have more items than what they have on a given day. Be mindful of that when ordering online. I'm glad I visited in person just to see what was available. It was an easy decision. I selected the 2 piece white meat (breast and a wing) chicken that comes with a honey biscuit. They put both of our orders in one box. It was still hot when I got home. The breast meat was actually the best part. It was juicy and tender inside, with a mild taste of Cajun marinade. The outer breading on the skin was crispy and crunchy. There was no kick of spice (like Popeyes), but it was still very tasty with whatever blend of seasonings that they use. They may have spicier options. I didn't really ask. My husband said that the Publix chicken is better. Maybe it is, but I'm actually sick of eating Publix chicken and needed a change of pace. The breading and the spices are different enough from other fast food chains. This was a welcomed change. So much so, that I will be going back for more. If anything, I'll go back for the biscuits. They were also kind of crunchy, but not in a dry way. I can't explain it. I love that I could taste the butter with the sweet honey glaze. Hey, it was different! I'm also hoping to try the blueberry biscuits the next time they have them available. I see that they also have fried shrimp and chicken tenders. I'll update the review once I try more items. I'm actually happy that there is a location nearby. It gives me more options for fried chicken. It's in a Food Mart that also appears to be clean, and the service was quick. I'm not sure why I didn't try it sooner."

It literally felt like an orgasm in my mouth.I learned about this spot thanks to an friend of mine so I made it my mission to give them a try. It's in the same plaza as DD's discount off of Hillsborough. What I truly loved about them is that the wings are naked, not breaded. So for my keto or low carb folks this is a guilt free meal for sure. I ordered hot , although, there's a million flavors to choose from.While you can find pricing online, they have daily specials upon arrival. So that's a perk for sure! Also after you order you can hang out inside until your food is ready as it's kind of a mini convenience store. Think one stop shop and that's exactly what they are at tasty's!I promise you that you will not want to return to your previous wing spot. I promise you that you will crave think of these wings daily. I promise you that you will not be disappointed.Now I cannot speak for the other food items but those naked wings are the truth!"

"Hands down?Ah-May-Zing tasting fried whole chicken wings. I am from Chicago and I know good food. Unfortunately, it's very hard to find that in the south, yet Kay's seems to have real Chicago cooks working for them or at least familiar with our recipes in frying good chicken. What topped it off well is that powdery substance (loved it)! Also, the sauce is bussin'. My family had shrimp and fries and they ate every bite as well with fingers licked off an Uber eats order lmao. Thank God we've found this place because we order food a lot. "Long time customer of Brenda's Wings & Things. Sad that she moved from Polk Street, went there almost daily. Trying to get my schedule around when I can go back to Brenda's myself, until then will have a friend run for me. I miss my crispy chicken garden salad with the works, my cheeseburger with mustard, onions, and mayo, and the most amazing French fries in Polk County. Every time I drive by on the weekend, I pray you are open but if I don't' see your blue car or yellow SUV, I get a little sad. "We came to Largo visiting for the holiday weekend and found this little gem the night we arrived. We were immediately greeted by the owner as we walked in. "We only live a few blocks away and this place has changed so many hands it's almost unfathomable. A group of six of us stopped in on Friday night and were amazed at how different the place felt. Same decor, same tables but, it definitely had a positive upbeat atmosphere, it hasn't had in several years. We met the current owner who stopped by each table checking in and making sure patrons were satisfied. Our server was sharp, he knew the menu well, he knew what the ingredients were and he knew how things were prepared. We were a bit concerned when he took our orders because he didn't write anything down but, everything came out perfectly. He checked on us several times and made sure we had everything we needed.Our food was absolutely, spot on delicious.Sandwiches were large and filling and expertly prepared as though some little grandma was preparing them. The dinners were large and well seasoned, needing a box for leftovers. The pizza was the star of the show, thin, crispy crust with toppings edge to edge and flavor that was as robust as anything in Chicago. The sausage had that scrumptious fennel taste that distinguishes it from any other place in the country that, and the fact it's cut into squares. Having lived in Chicago over 20 years, it was an awesome experience when requesting the gahlick and the 'regano and it came out in shakers. That really seals the deal!! The only thing missing from this place compared to those in Chicago was the addition of ordering homemade creamy garlic salad dressing on the salad.All in all, this place is top notch, give it a try and tell Joe, Jack sent ya!!"

Actually, the flavor was great, the fact that they were crazy soggy, greasy and undercooked was the problem. Too bad because I remember when this place was just a food truck before the original location near US19 and the wings were phenomenal. Not anymore. "I ordered Dickey's to go for dinner because I was having a barbecue craving and it hit the spot! I ordered the sliced brisket with spicy barbecue sauce. The brisket was tender and juicy. They didn't shy away from adding some fatty bits and that was the best. The spicy barbecue is not spicy but complimented the meet well. I got the one meat plate that came with a roll, two sides, and your choice of onions or pickles. I got the pickles and chose the Cesar salad and mac n cheese. These individual sizes were enough and I decided to try the potato salad too. All the sides were good. I also got the brownie/cookie dessert and it was good! I enjoyed my Dickey's meal."

The sauce was nice and the wings came with a good amount (it was a thin sauce not very thick). The wings themselves were a good size in the skin had a nice crisp to it. The fries were crisp, well done and nicely seasoned; the type of fries that I would go back and just order without the wings (fries fanatic here!).I came on a holiday weekday, when I got in line there were two people in front of me but it still didn't take long for my order to come out. This establishment does not have a sit-down area, just an order window. "We were here on a Monday during happy hour and got some excellent deals. All starters were 25% off, well drinks were $5, wine was $2 off each glass. My husband was ordering double rum and Diet Coke for $6.50 each. I found another deal through an app called inKind. As part of a black Friday deal, I was able to purchase $140 of credits for $100. The app also had a deal that your first purchase of over $50 would receive a $25 discount. You can't pay the tip through the credits, but you have a credit card on file in the app that tips are charged to We were struggling to get $50 of food/drinks with the specials the restaurant had running. When the bill comes you open the inKind app and enter the check number the server can give you. Apparently it's paid through the app using Toast. Everything worked great. The restaurant had multiple TVs playing sports and a bar area. The table we sat at didn't have comfortable chairs but we weren't planning to stay long. If you plan to stay for an entire game, look for more comfortable chairs or maybe sit at the bar. The bathroom was clean but small. They likely get lines when it's busy. This is an easy walk from the Tampa Riverwalk. Our server was fast and checked on us a few times. There was not that many people there."
