"It's a Louisiana based fried chicken chain found mostly in convenience stores and gas stations. The Krispy Krunchy Chicken sign at the Lithia Food Mart always looks so enticing. I've passed by it so many times over the years. But it wasn't until recently that I decided to try it after seeing many reviews from Yelp friends at other locations. I don't really know much about this location. All I know is that they are closed on Sundays. I attempted to go there twice in 2 days. That's my bad for not checking the hours of operation.Anyway, I walked in on a Monday to fresh chicken and honey biscuits. Their online menu appears to have more items than what they have on a given day. Be mindful of that when ordering online. I'm glad I visited in person just to see what was available. It was an easy decision. I selected the 2 piece white meat (breast and a wing) chicken that comes with a honey biscuit. They put both of our orders in one box. It was still hot when I got home. The breast meat was actually the best part. It was juicy and tender inside, with a mild taste of Cajun marinade. The outer breading on the skin was crispy and crunchy. There was no kick of spice (like Popeyes), but it was still very tasty with whatever blend of seasonings that they use. They may have spicier options. I didn't really ask. My husband said that the Publix chicken is better. Maybe it is, but I'm actually sick of eating Publix chicken and needed a change of pace. The breading and the spices are different enough from other fast food chains. This was a welcomed change. So much so, that I will be going back for more. If anything, I'll go back for the biscuits. They were also kind of crunchy, but not in a dry way. I can't explain it. I love that I could taste the butter with the sweet honey glaze. Hey, it was different! I'm also hoping to try the blueberry biscuits the next time they have them available. I see that they also have fried shrimp and chicken tenders. I'll update the review once I try more items. I'm actually happy that there is a location nearby. It gives me more options for fried chicken. It's in a Food Mart that also appears to be clean, and the service was quick. I'm not sure why I didn't try it sooner."

"This manager did the coolest thing to make a kids birthday super special! A pretty girl greeted us at the register as she struggled to understand what weird thing we were requesting. This birthday girl wanted their bread. That's right. Not a whole meal with a piece of bread but all bread for her meal! With help from the manager they made this happen and elevated a kids birthday that quickly and easily! Thank you both for the assist, it's cool when you know humans are running the place and logic can take charge! She hit that bread pretty hard but we'll be back for the rest soon Thanks again!!"

"This may not be the fastest place for chicken, but it is very good and fresh! I crave this chicken and am willing to drive almost an hour just to get it. The workers are very kind. "Mayflower Chinese Restaurant gets four stars, just for the safety protocols. I strongly recommend you call in your order. The line outside can be long. No one can enter the restaurant, an employee will greet you at the door to place or pick up your order. Hand sanitizer and eating utensils are located outside on a table. My daughter ordered Wontons, Fried shrimp, and rice. The wontons were average, some of the wontons had very little filling. The food was fresh and the customer service was great."

"A great idea, done up right. We discovered the place a while back and keep returning. The salads are always fresh and tasty. My wife always gets Classic Carol and I like to try different flavors. I had the Dixie Chick last time and loved the onion in it. It's a friendly place and you can eat there. We do mostly takeout and order online. Quick and convenient."

"Definitely an old school place straight out of the late 1960's early 1970's my order took a little bit but to be fair I ordered a lot off the menu for 16 people . My personal favorite is the chicken sandwich no frills no bs just a piece of chicken on a bun and it was perfect . I just wish they add pickles but not here. lol French fries are definitely decent I always tell them very light on the salt and same with the chicken as they definitely do a great job with the food prep . I would definitely come here over KFC or Popeyes or raising Cains ."

"Fantastic opening for Raising Cane's! Lines moved quickly and food came out fast and hot. My tenders were crispy but a little under seasoned. They were definitely juicy. Fries also needed more salt. I still think they did a great job for a grand opening and know it will only get better when things calm down. I love both the indoor and outdoor seating options. I will definitely be eating here again and probably soon!"

"I love Crossroad Hot Chicken! Definitely a big bang for the buck! My boyfriend and I have tried most things on the menu and you cannot go wrong. My favorite dish being the Hot Chicken Sandwich priced at $10.99. So great! You can adjust the heat of your chicken, which always means I'm making mine a little bit more spicy than the average consumer. Overall, I have only done take-out here but I'd gladly dine-in. The guys running it are always friendly and hospitable."

"Love it. Second Riverside I know closer to me. At least this location well plan with nicer interior. Table is well place and room for dining. We start with the conch fritters. Good value and enough conch meat. Fritter fried correctly. The second dish is the blackened 15 shrimp blackened shrimp a la carte. The shrimp is big. Good blackened seasoning. The last dish is the 15 fried shrimp. I like the coating. Overall is good seafood place. The combo plate is affordable. Value for the seafood also good."

"My first experience at Indi's restaurant was absolutely delightful! The restaurant space is bright, airy, and clean - just what you need in a quick take-out or dine-in spot! I ordered a two-piece meal for a midday lunch (dark meat is my preference) which came with a side of green beans and a dinner roll. The best part was getting a chance to sample a spicy chicken wing before deciding to order the regular chicken. I decided the spicy chicken was too spicy for my mouth (unless I'm having wine...if there's wine, we good). I ordered the regular chicken and it was ultimately crispy and finger-licking delicious! The mac n cheese is on point and with a little bit of salt, the green beans are just what the doctor ordered. The best part - teacher/veterans/first responders with appropriate ID get a 10% discount!! I'm a teacher so the discount is mucho appreciated. I wish more businesses offered this!!Love this local Clearwater spot and can't wait to go back!"

"Came around 5 on a Sunday night. Was looking for somewhere to watch football and saw they had a bunch of screens and was looking for somewhere with better food than regular bar food. The rotisserie chicken is absolutely delicious! The salad dressing is tasty. The yuca and plantains were cooked perfectly as well. The rice and beans were delicious and the steak was just okay but everything else made up for it! Service was quick and efficient. Nice vibe in here and was happy to watch the game out without it being super loud. Also tried the fresh mango juice and churro for dessert, both fresh and delicious!"

"So it was good for a late night crave of chicken tenders, but I wouldn't put it above crossroads chicken in Brandon, or Dave's hot chicken. The seasoning was a little bland on the mild, there wasn't much a kick but also much flavor. The "plain" has a hint of spice too so doesn't seem plain to me. Fries tasted purely like grease to me. The price is what was bad for me. Two meals with no drink were over $30. It was fast casual feel and to me the price seemed high for that. Service was okay, we did take out so I'm not sure what I'd rate service. I'd maybe get it again, but not guaranteed."

"Absolutely some of the best drinks I've ever had. It was very seltzer-esque and the grapefruit was absolutely phenomenal. I would get this every day if I could. It is a non-alcoholic grapefruit mojito and my friend got the passion fruit flavored. They have other food here and I will have to come back to try. The parking situation is okay with it only being in the back and there aren't that many spots but the location isn't all that big but perfect sized. Drinks made super quick maybe 4 mins"
