Nate T. "I live in Riverview which is quite a ways away! And yet I still will make this drive everytime I do a bbq or cookout or just need to stock my freezer! These people are amazing here! The lady that works the counter is fast and efficient! The people in the back are always working their butt off but yet still never miss a beat to ask if you need anything....EVER! I've been here dozens of times and always get treated like I'm an old friend, yet I don't know anyone's name! Now that's what I call customer service! Now onto the meat....it definitely meats my expectations lol I couldn't help it! But seriously the selection is vast and the prices are crazy cheap! Hamburger meat, steaks, ribs, you name it and I'll bet they beat your nearest market by a long shot! Plus they give you 5% discount if you bring your last receipt! A slick yet effective way of continuous customers! Clean store and they have nothing to hide. You can see every employee working while you shop through their selection! Friendly and attentive! I've never been disappointed yet! The only and I mean only thing I would tell people reading this is, limited parking, and unfortunately the gas station next to it has some "unemployed" folk hanging around. But that isn't their fault! A solid 5 stars! Definitely! I apologize that I didn't take any pics but just take my word for it! Grab a slab of ribs and remember I brought you here! Enjoy!"

Steven B. "Heaven on a Fork! Even after ten years of visits, the bloom is not off the rose! For this lunch to-go visit, I was in the mood for spicy food, so I went with their Chorizo meal. So how was it? Read on to find out.Arriving- They are on Main St., just a few seconds off US Route 27 so they are simple to find. There is a private parking lot that can be a bit of a challenge as they are insanely popular.Ambience- It is a combination Mexican market and restaurant that is so common in this part of the state. There are quite a few tables and booths that are kept nice and clean. You order and pay the cashier, and they'll call you when it's ready. This is a very, very casual place! BTW-This place has a spotless open kitchen. Not to be missed is the complimentary, with purchase, Salsa Bar. Delicious! There are plenty of small to-go containers to sample the bar items if you're taking your meal home like I did on this visit.Customer Service- Everyone that works here will be Hispanic, but all the customer-facing folks speak excellent English. They are always friendly, and I've never had a problem.Pro Tip- If you are so inclined, before you place your order, walk to the coolers at the back of the market and grab yourself a cold brewski!Pro Tip- The menu board is in Spanish but there are English menus readily available.Food- All your Mexican favorites, both meats and seafood, in very generous portions.I ordered the Chorizo meal @ $14. My picture is a little deceiving. See that slab of delicious spicy sausage? There is another piece the same size, directly underneath! I put the box on my scale at home and it was just under 2 lbs.! That's a lot of lunch and it was awesome.Conclusion- So they have over 100 reviews @ 4.5 stars and they deserve it. It's an inexpensive, casual "Heaven on a Fork" kind of place!"

My boyfriend and I both got a lunch plate for $7.99 it comes with a side, rice and beans, and protein option. Plenty of food! It was clean where they keep the food which I truly appreciated. I recommend you try it!"

If you follow their Facebook page, you'll find AMAZING daily specials that you won't want to miss! Wednesday, they run a $3.99 a lb special for a whole NY strip you can cut into individual steaks! Fresh pastas and unique seasoning blends are among the special items you are also able to get there. If you've never been, take a few minutes to stop by and just walk around! The staff is super friendly and willing to help with any questions. The quality of the products are amazing!"

Laura G. "I was very impressed with the Brazil Food Market. I'm not sure how they managed to have a grocery store, bakery, butcher and restaurant all in one small space but they did. I was not greeted when I entered the store, at the meat counter or the restaurant. I received no acknowledgement from any employee during my entire visit. I stopped in to purchase some empanadas. Unfortunately my timing was off and they did not have the ones that I wanted in the restaurant area. The restaurant does not serve frozen or premade items so I knew that this may happen. There was a large amount of imported dry and frozen goods. I scanned the isles and found some hot peppers and cookies that I like. The meat looked very fresh and there was very limited produce available."

Samantha E. "There are a few butcher shops in town we quite like, but if we're cooking for a special occasion, this is where we go.The vast majority, if not all of their products, are locally sourced, and all are high quality. They have some unique cuts that are hard to find elsewhere. It isn't cheap, and you could spend a lot of money here on products like dry-aged Wagyu if you so chose, but a lot of the cuts are very reasonable given the quality, such as the picanha.Looking for excellent meat products from people that are really knowledgeable about it? Look no further."

Clare C. "We got lured in by the sign out from for the bacon wrapped filet mignons when we first moved here and have been coming ever since. Great selection of steaks, ground meats and pork. the pork tenderloin here is one of my favorites - and cheaper than Publix. They have a selection of seafood as well - Organic Scottish Salmon is definitely one of our favorites - the scallops they have are amazing! Expensive but worth the treat every once in a while. We've tried the deli section once or twice. Sandwiches are good but I struggle to find a really good sub in Florida - but this place is an option. Definitely go for the butcher shop!"

Errol A. "Long Unpaved road right next to Pattie Electric. Weicht's apparently have been in business for years. They use to have lots of workers but Joe was telling me it's hard to keep honest people these days. They stay so busy working, that he really doesn't have time to talk to you on the phone. Just him and his Son and he likes it that way. Through the same text messaging system I've yet to get a solid date to bring my 700lb bull. Warning anything over 1200 they don't do. After lots of coordination and hauling the bull over. He told me he can't process it because it's a long horn and won't fit through the shoot. With indignation he screamed at my buddy. over there I told you referring to where he wanted the trailer backed up. He's done them before, but in this climate he gets to pick and choose who he wants to deal with. Then he begin to make threats as we were trying to figure out how we would have to pivot and now change our plans. That's the part where my Marine Corps instinct started to kick in. He said we gotta go and these dogs bite. Referring to the 30 or so dogs he had on the property barking and yelping. From the shed someone begin to scream obscenities, cursing, swearing and yelling for a good minute. I'm actually thankful we didn't decide to go with these guys, because I don't think he would even give us all our meat once it's all said and done. And there's a lot we could've said. Actually fell sorry for Joe and the fiasco operation they're running. He treated us worse than dogs and his Father from what I'm told would've never ever done that. Too Bad I guess you can do what you want when you have the Monopoly. I spent 23 years away from home for people just like Joe. Hope you get well, there's a God in Heaven watching what you're doing!"

We ordered from the counter but the food was brought out very quickly by a very pleasant waitress. The place is decorated tastefully. There are high-top tables and booths. We ordered the Deviled eggs, the beet & arugula salad & prosciutto pizza. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. The marriage of flavors of the salad was incredible! There was goat cheese, sour cherries, orange sections & caramelized pecans! All I can say is wow!! If I ever come back to the Clearwater area I'll definitely stop in!"

I've been here once but it was years ago so i forgot about this place until i searched Yelp. The employees there were so friendly to me because i was definitely overwhelmed. They have fresh and frozen meats. You have to pull a ticket and there's a personalized employee that will handle all the meat that you want which was nice. The place didn't have a stench which is great in my book. I purchased so much meat at a reasonable price, i will definitely be back! They even have some great freezer specials. I was told to call ahead so that they can prepare it for you because sometimes they sell out but definitely give it a try!"

When I was there offering included black beans and rice, white rice, yellow rice, boiled yucca, garlic calabasa (pumpkin), chicken, chicken soup, beef, and some other items. Tamales are a la carte. The store also has a butcher and a pretty impressive meat counter as well as a good variety of fruits and veggies. I very much enjoyed my visit and would go back. Lots to try. They also have a wide selwction of pastries from a Cuban bakery in Hialieh.Viva Cuba!!!"

Dave W. "I had great fun and even better dinners after shopping here for the first time! Everyone who helped me was friendly and full of good advice. They even got me a steak from the back since what we wanted wasn't in the display case meaning they had sold many steaks! Sea salt, fresh cracked black pepper, garlic and a little avocado oil in our well seasoned cast iron pan. Bam! 3 minutes a side on medium high, rest for 5 or 10 minutes, and a perfect crusty, seasoned medium rare was the result! Hungry yet!? Easy peasy! Super delicious and enough for several meals and a lunch sandwich for me! This was with the very affordable wagyu sirloin and not with a fancy, huge porterhouse or NY strip that I might typically purchase from a butcher!I shopped right before closing on a Sunday but there were several customers and we had no issues!I can't say I'm an expert but I know what I like. Far too many places serve a Miami (no salami), use pulled pork (rather than sliced), or simply get the ingredient ratios all wrong.I have intended to try Mac's Custom Meats, 26316 Wesley Chaple Blvd (near the airport), for what seems like several years. The sales are terrific and if you want a piece of beef cut into steaks, or pork cut, they do it just the way you want it. Check their online site for specials and sales and then head over there. Karen V. "Sometimes you don't have to look far to find good Latin food at an affordable price. I've been to this market many times in the past to get food from their buffet counter. It was hit or miss back then because they didn't always have what I wanted. Admittedly, I haven't returned until recently. I noticed that they have a larger buffet and more of a variety of freshly prepared foods such as lechon, pollo guisado, beef stew, picadillo, and so much more. They even had a selection of different rice dishes, and not just white or yellow rice. I was so happy to see the Cuban fried rice. It's a mix of salt pork, mixed veggies, and green onions. It was full of flavor. I also got some of their yucca and lechon with a slice of crispy skin (which I love). My box was filled high with all kinds of goodness. All of this for under $8. I can't remember the exact price but it was super affordable. I shared it with my mother and we still had some left over for another day. Everything was wonderful! This market is located at the old Kings Row shopping center near the post office. It's very popular with the locals. My experiences have been nothing but pleasant. This last Thursday evening was the best service I've had there. The nice lady behind the counter was very helpful and sweet. They have also added a couple of tables and chairs where you can sit and have your cafe con leche. We go there sometimes just to have an espresso after eating at Stein and Vine. Mom also loves the Cuban boniatillo (sweet potato) candy. They sell the individually wrapped ones near the check out counter. I think they are the ones that are made in Hialeah. I also saw some packaged Puerto Rican mallorca pastries with the powdered sugar packets. I'm using this as my excuse to go back again soon. It will be another fun gift for mom."

I'm so happy to have them in the neighborhood. They specialize in USDA Prime beef and dry aged Prime beef. USDA Prime is the highest-quality beef available in the USA, making up only 5% of the market. This is a very high end shop. Do not come here if you want $3.99/lb beef. This is not that kind of shop.Today we took advantage and bought the weekend special- about 7lbs of meat for $69! Butcher's Block has solved that problem for me and not only do they provide all the beef cuts I am looking for, they also get in the highest quality meat to help produce the results you desire in a long slow cook. As a wise man once said: "Smoking meat is 1/3 skill, 1/3 quality of meat and 1/3 luck" Aaron Franklin Starting with the highest quality of meat, will move your game well beyond the typical back yard BBQ. Robert H. "Everything in this building deserves a separate review. Sadly, everything in this building is ridiculously over priced, and now , the last establishment to open, The " Butcher ", more of the same. Such disappointment. I am old enough to remember stand alone Main Street type butchers, with neat tied up with string in wax paper. The " Butcher" had red blood all over his apron. So what I hoped for here was ridiculously overpriced freshly ground sirloin. Fuhgitaboutit. Almost everything here is vacuum packed. ZERO freshly ground sirloin or anything. Bison and ostrich ? Are you frikin kidding me ? I am not a Developer Basher, I love it here, but wtf. TV was a place for middle class people to move to affordable. Before the pandemic, when I started looking to move here, a good 3 bd 2 ba could be had for $ 250,000. A " Butcher " with no blood on his apron , slinging vacuum packs, is no Butcher at all. This place is supposed to be for retired working class people. Grind me some sirloin and overcharge me for the convenience, I am ok with that. Don't insult me, and the memory of Mr Shwartz, with vacuum pack ostrich, I can drive to Mount Dora for stuff like that."

It's a little hard to find, but if you see Own It Now, then this place is right next door. Everyone is so nice and there is ample seating inside. Part of it is a bakery/butcher/restaurant, and they do a pretty neat job with the space.I typically come here for lunch as they have a self serve buffet type thing going on, where you can get different foods and a plethora of churrasco (BBQ) at a great price. You pay for the food by weight, and that honestly makes you think twice about how much you eat. I always leave here satisfied, but not full. But that's just how you want to feel after eating great food. Food is about 7.99 per pound, and I typical spend about $8 here on food and a drink. Definitely recommend."
