"We love to eat here when we are in Brooksville, food is hot, fresh and very good tasting. They keep the buffet clean and wiped down so no messes. Asian, American food of all kinds very well prepared dishes, love there chicken wings."
"Overall good value for the money. The food was hot and very flavorful will be visiting again. Hibachi bar was my favorite part. friendly service clean location."
"I came with my parents on a weeknight to enjoy some seafood. I can't say that I was blown away by anything. The only thing good was their Hibachi in the back. Everything else seemed pretty half-assed. Service was ok and the place was clean. The fried shrimp was not cleaned or peeled so it wasn't even worth the efforts to try to eat it. Same with the crab. The crab/crab legs were so small, and for some reason they fried it. It was basically fried shell. There was barely any meat in it and what you could find in the body of it was pretty awful. Sushi was decent. We didn't have any chicken or beef so I can't speak on how good or bad those are. I did like their mussels but those are pretty hard to screw up. I would not come back here though."
"We've been coming here for years with no major issues. Food is rotated often, service is friendly, and there is good selection of items to choose from. They also play some really upbeat music from time to time, which makes me feel like I'm at a party. My only gripe is that the sushi is not consistent. Sometimes they have nigiri--sometimes they don't. It can be disappointing. But with so many other foods to choose from, you'll never walk away from here hungry. I absolutely love their green tea ice cream for dessert. It's the only place I've had it from locally other than the grocery store. As long as they stay this good, I'll be coming here for years to come."
"2456 Gulf to Bay Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33765I am putting the address to make sure you go to the right one.Large selection of foods. We love this Chinese buffet. Good food, friendly staff."
"I've been searching for some really good southern food in central Florida and I've finally found it. Fred's is delicious and inexpensive. They even have a rewards program. We've tried breakfast and lunch and both we equally delicious. In addition to the food, they also serve up some southern hospitality as well. The team is so nice, it's basically like Sunday dinner at my grandma's house."
"Flavorless food, bad ambience. Not sure if it was a bad day or food is like this on daily basis. We had to leave half of the food we ordered. Hope they improve soon."
"This place is one of my favorite because it's all you can eat and there's a wide selection of great tasting chinese foods.i would highly recommend to all."
"I do not understand some of these negative reviews of this place. My wife and I were in plant City and stopped in for lunch. The staff was so friendly and nice. The service was awesome. The food was delicious fresh and hot. We used to go to a buffet in Apollo Beach. Will you not go anymore because of the service and the food went so far downhill. Next time we're in plant City we would definitely be stopping in here. When I cleanest nicest restaurants I've been in a while. This is outstanding buffet and you definitely should try it."
"Everything is good for that price. Staff is very kind and responsive. No concerns. Firstly could find sushi there but realized that I'm blind. 62 dollars for 2 adults and 2 kids... sounds like a gift"
"Nice bistro in Solivita town square area. Good variety of sandwiches, pizza and calzones. Breakfast served too which is my favorite meal of the day. Service can be a bit slow but food is always freshly prepared and good. Breakfast sandwiches are huge and served on croissants, English muffin or bagel."
"This may have been my first time having Indian food in Tampa Bay? My friend steered this one because he loves Gateway to India and he ordered us the butter chicken, chicken tandoori, and some garlic naan. BIG fan of the tandoori, and I really liked the butter chicken as well. Zero complaints, I loved every minute of this dinner!"

For a buffet I was actually impressed. It is crazy busy but they keep it clean and the food is hot and fresh and they keep the food areas updated so that they're never out of anything. Staff is attentive and friendly. It's big inside so plenty of seating and room to walk around the buffet area. They have freshly made sushi which is what I went for. You can watch them make it.

I wouldn't eat here again. It's such a pity that this is the only Chinese buffet nearby in Brandon. We only went because my husband had a craving for Chinese food but we know better next time to not come here. Next time, we are ordering in somewhere else. I hope my husband doesn't have Chinese food urges anytime soon because it is not worth it. I am hoping for new Chinese buffets to come about in the Brandon area and if not, I will probably have to drop Chinese food off my list.

Very great staff and environment at this buffet. I have been here prior and had received the same level of service. I will add that the lo mein rice were excellent! Sushi was not good, and would not recommend it. The price tag was a bit high for dinner at $19. I would recommend if you are heading back from Clearwater and are feeling hungry, this is not a bad place to stop by.

When in Florida (Tampa or Orlando) we make it a point to goto Fred's.Get little family restaurant that has never disappointed. We've been to three different locations and they ate pretty consistent (food-wise) .If you go on Saturday , try the shrimp creole .All dishes have that "home feel".I'm know I'm the majority here (south) but I do wish the veggies had meatless options (greens, cabbage, black eyed peas) :-( but I know where I am. :-)

For Saturday brunch, we decided to have dosa from DosaHut. Since we had dosa from DosaHut before so, we kind of knew what to expect and what was the menu. When we entered the restaurant we got seated and after browsing through the menu we ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Chili Rava Masala Dosa and Masala Idli. The service was good and soon we got our dosa as well as Idli.First we had Mysore Masala Dosa. The masala in dosa was cooked perfectly and dosa was delicious along with sambhar and chutney. Delicious dosa. Then we had Chili Rava Masala Dosa which was spicy with green chili and that made it delicious and tasty. Then we had Masala Idli which was soft and cooked perfectly and we had it with sambhar. The dosa and idli that we had at DosaHut was amazing especially dosas.

I was disappointed. I called first because an article I read said they were going to be open and offering Thanksgiving buffet. When I called asked if they were serving traditional Thanksgiving food on the buffet. They said yes. We get there today the only thing Thanksgiving was the mashed potatoes and turkey with gravy. Everything else Thanksgiving was missing. It made it very disappointing. But on the bright side their normal fare was really good. Their crab Rangoon was the best I've ever eaten my entire life and I'm in my 60's. I'd go back to make a meal of the crab Rangoon alone.

"5 stars for a greasy spoon diner with an easy going atmosphere. Friendly service and great food! I've only been here for breakfast so I can't speak to any other meal but it's become a tradition for my family to eat here when I come into town from Tennessee. I recommend the grits, toast and eggs! I've had the fired potatoes a few times but in my opinion they need a little more flavor or seasoning. The pancakes are so good I don't even use syrup-I know, I'm weird. But seriously try a bite with just butter! Mmmmm! Bottom line is this place is a jewel! If you're in Polk County it's worth the trip!"
"My dearest,My excursion to Ling's buffet was one i will tell for generations. the service was exceptional, the general tso chikc n was to die for, and the conversations with my friends were unforgettable. i can see myself bringing my family here some day. 10/10"
"After reading several negative reviews, and only living a few miles south, I decided to give this place a try, and I'm glad I did. To start off, the restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and the buffet was fully stocked with fresh food. Hands down one of the best Asian Buffers we've been to in Central Florida. It was a little pricey, but walked away knowing I would return!"
"Large variety of food and all was delicious. Servers were attentive. Deserts were excellent"
"Best breakfast buffet I have ever been to....hands down and cheap! Check this place out! It's laid back, casual, seat yourself and friendly kinda place! Open 9am-1pm on Sundays for brunch. It's awesome! Bacon, eggs, omelets, sausages, grits, French toast, Belgian waffles, fruits and more!!!!"
"My family loves Chinese buffets and have been to almost every one from New Port Richey to Naples and Clearwater to Orlando and Daytona. No matter which ones we try, this one is still the BEST of them all. We come here at least 2-3 times a month, and everybody we've ever invited raves about it. Always busy so the food is always fresh, and their hibachi is great. I love this place!"
"Big surprise. Tried this for the first time and really liked everything I ate. Doesn't look like much from the parking lot. It's tucked away behind Chili's. I've lived in the area for almost a year and never noticed it. Light and bright inside and clean. All the usual dishes but done well and hot. The boiled shrimp and fried chicken were top notch. Glad we tried it. Will be back soon."
"This place only has one year running and do it well Food is very good ! waitress works so friendly. They have live music week end the price is average"
"This was a great lunch value for $21.95 on a week day. Our team had an early Thanksgiving luncheon here this past Thursday. I was actually quite amazed at the offerings and quality off the food. My favorites would have to be the American Bounty, Raw Bar, and Cucina Italiana sections of the buffet. They were carving up turkey that day, and had some wonderful fried chicken. The antipasto salads were so very good. They had little mini pizzas on top of big slices of zucchini or squash. Nice if you're on a keto diet. They had green mussels, oysters, shrimp, and crawfish at the raw bar. I got the shrimp salad instead of the peel and eat shrimp. I didn't want to deal with peeling them. They had grilled steak near the Mongolian BBQ section, and these wonderful fresh rolls. The deserts were just as good. I couldn't resist the sweet potato pie. It didn't disappoint me at all. There was so much of a variety that I think anyone would be pleased at lunch time. The parking situation wasn't too bad. I think we parked in the wrong area because we had to walk through the casino. There were people smoking but the smell wasn't as bad as my last visit. Maybe the renovations did help a little with ventilation. The line wasn't too long at around 11:00 am. The service was fantastic. Our glasses of ice tea were always full. I saw a sign for the Champagne Brunch on Sunday. I'd like to try that one day soon. It was surprisingly good. I think we're going to make this a yearly tradition. Maybe we'll do it again in December."
"This place gets packed and with good reason.I admit, when I hear "buffet", I usually turn my nose. Buffets usually offer mediocre, dry, bland food. But THIS place... this place was great! All of the options were always stocked. They have disposable gloves available at each end of the buffet lines. The food is not overly salty as some southern places can get (for my taste). I honestly have no complaints. You will leave full and you will need a nap afterwards."
"I thought my Chinese hibachi restaurant was bad, but this place is actually worse. All of the food they had was cold and/or empty, all the while the employees are sitting on their butt, playing on their phones, or eating meals in front of customers."
"I've been to many rodizios (e.g. Fogo de Chao, Brazilian / Portuguese restaurants in The Ironbound in NJ). I must admit, this spot takes the crown for being the best rodizio I've ever had.As usual, the meal starts with being provided with yuca fries, banana, mashed potatoes and Brazilian bread. The salad bar has plenty of options too.The selections of meat was incredible. Beef ribs, lambchops, salmon, chicken drumstick, ribeye, sirloin, picanha , garlic steak, etc. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. It wasn't overly salted like other spots I've been to. If I could provide management with any feedback, it would be to consider adding other meats to the selection such as chicken heart, leg of lamb and chicken thigh. Maybe those options are offered but I didn't see it being passed around or available. Another nice touch was having chimichurri, hot sauce and mint jelly for the meat. It was the first time I had mint jelly. It may not be homemade but I wished it to have pieces of mint or to be homemade. We celebrated our daughter's birthday. The complimentary chocolate cake was greatly appreciated. One of our favorite items towards the end was the grilled cheese and grilled pineapple. The grilled cheese had a cinnamon sugar coating and melted in your mouth. The grilled pineapple was perfect.I look forward to next time trying their desserts (e.g. passion fruit mousse, creme brule, flan). Perfect dinner spot for any occasion! My waiter was great, but don't remember his name. There was a gentleman named Jason who was very nice and helpful throughout the night."
"THANK YOU Curry Leaves for finding your way to Lakeland! How did you know we were in desperate need of another good Indian spot?!But really, there have been at least 2 Indian restaurants in Lakeland that have closed the past few years- I only know of one other still nearby. As someone who lovessss this type of food it was so sad. So thank goodness Curry Leaves decided to move here! If I remember right, they were in the Brandon area before and then came here. When you first come to Curry Leaves, don't mind that it's connected to a Quality Inn. This couldn't be more of an oxymoron as the restaurant itself is super nice, clean and honestly even a little fancy. It elevates the Quality Inn, if anything. This is on my top list of Indian places I've been to- and that's saying a lot because I've tried a lot of Indian places. Even a family member of mine who hasn't liked this kind of food preciously enjoyed what she had here. They cook the lamb just right so it's soft and juicy. The naan is thick but cooked through and they even have a naan that has coconut flakes baked inside that's surprisingly good.On the weekends they have a buffet that I am definitely going to come try at some point. I have thoroughly loved everything I've had here. They do even have a full bar here too, and they serve Indian beer which my friend and I were very curious about. Highly highly recommend!"
"We love this restaurant. One of the best all you can eat Buffets - All you can eat sushi, seafood and more! This is our family treat. Its located in a plaza off of 60 in Brandon. Plenty of parking and the restaurant is quite large, so plenty of seating for large groups. Fresh and clean. Servers come around constantly to pick up dirty dishes and top off your drinks. The pricings are reasonable, up to 11 years and goes by height. Crab legs are a staple, so they go pretty quickly but if you ask the server they can bring some out to you. Or maybe if people not be so greedy and grab more than they can eat. My personal favorite is the hibachi bar, they make it right in front of you and at your customization. Worth the money for the variety of sushi, seafood, hibachi and food favorites. Bring your "Thanksgiving" pants and enjoy!"
"I was craving some hot pot and came across this restaurant. I love that it is buffet style instead of waiting for them to bring out your food. I just didn't have great experience with those style hot pots. I was also surprised that they had crawfish, fried chicken, fried lobster, and sushi included in the price of your hot pot and/or bbq. The service was good from the beginning and very friendly. I love all the options that they had. I don't feel like there was anything missing from my experience at this restaurant. I usually don't eat Korean barbecue because I just love the hot pot by itself, but I think next time I go I'm also going to get the barbecue. I highly recommend this hot pot!"
"This place might not look like much on the outside, but inside it's a wonder! We met a friend for dinner, and we were overwhelmed with choices. Husband & friend found their favorites, and quickly got what they wanted. I wanted to experiment, so I tried different items. For me, I chose various forms of crab meat (in a scallop shell, in a crab shell, loose for salad), chicken (General Tso, Bourbon, Honey), fruits (mandarin oranges, watermelon, peaches, bananas fried & in strawberry syrup), salad fixings (lettuce, cheese, and more), and different desserts (6 different ice creams/sherbet, cookies, and pastries). There was so much more to choose from on 4 different stations of food - hot and cold. I did want more labels on items that I did not recognize. That would have made this review 5 stars. Service was great. Our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat down, and when we returned to our table with our first plate of food, drinks were waiting for us. When we finished all that was on our plates, someone took the empty plaaway. When we got our bill, we gave our credit card, and we were able to pay as we finished dessert. For 3 people, and the variety of delicious foods, $61.24 on a Friday night plus tip was reasonable. We will be back!"
"We were seated right away. Wait staff took drink order right away, we ordered Pepsi and immediately were so excited about the selection of foods. They have three rows of buffets, this had the usual Asian buffet items. In the back area there is sushi, hibachi, and a small ice cream area. In the hibachi area, you cannot add your own garlic, hot sauce, or sauces. The noodle choices were regular noodle or chow mei fun. For the meat options there was choice of chicken, beef, and shrimp. I chose the beef and it was cooked tenderly and thoroughly. Everything was hot and fresh. Drinks were kept filled. All the staff were nice and accommodating. The bathroom (ladies) was clean. There are two toilets, one including a large handicap stall. Hoping this place stays and adds more to the hibachi area. Delicious and will come again!"
"Went for lunch today, and was so impressed! They have a lunch buffet that is very reasonably priced, drinks included. They had a large selections of traditional dishes with several different meats, noodles, and rice. You can also order Ala cart. By far the best butter chicken I have ever had. And let me tell you about the garlic naan... out of this world! Located in the Publix plaza, there is plenty of parking. The service was also top notch. Despite being a Buffett, they were very attentive and asked several times if there is anything they can get for us or improve. You can tell this is a well run organization and they care deeply. Plenty of seating inside, and they keep a very clean space. I was again, so impressed. And can't wait to eat here again!"
"Food was delicious, and no wait time! Drinks also came quick. Ceiling is painted like a sky and the highlight of the restaurant is the cherry blossom tree in the middle of the buffet section. Would recommended hibachi noodles and beef with garlic sauce."
