"The Bait House in Clearwater is fantastic! The food is super fresh and delicious. The drunken shrimp is to die for, and the ahi tuna was incredibly fresh. The place has a great vibe and friendly staff. There's limited seating, so you might have to wait, but it's totally worth it. A must-visit spot for amazing seafood!"
"The BEST pizza in Tampa! Went into the restaurant late night after an NFL game and the service was quick and friendly. We ended up going with the MVP (perfect balance of sweet and salty, pepperonis were perfectly cooked), Buffalo Chicken (most pizzas don't have enough buffalo on it but this one was perfectly balanced, the sesame seeds added such a nice touch as well), and the Cheesy Bread (it was what you'd expect from cheese bread!)We ended up sitting outside which offered a great view of the city and helped us appreciate a rare cooler evening in Florida!"

"I'm a snob when it comes to Italian restaurants. That said, Gino's was actually awesome. It's got such an old fashioned and comfortable atmosphere that you just feel like you're at home when you walk in. The bar area was especially cozy, with its low ceilings and string lights that just set a relaxed vibe. We walked into the bar entrance and grabbed one of the high tops along the wall. Amy was our server and came over to us almost immediately to take our drink orders while we looked over the menu. She was amazing all night long, even though the place was packed and it looked like she was handling the entire bar area herself (easily 10+ tables). She always made time to come over and chat us up, not simply to check on us, and this level of personal attention really took the dining experience to another level. Before you order anything, you're brought out a huge loaf of crusty bread covered in garlic butter and Parmesan. The bread is freshly baked to order and - spoiler alert - the garlic butter is not actually butter (it's margarine!), but the snob in me was strangely ok with this as the garlic flavor was so pronounced and had depths to it. It was pretty dope.We wanted to try a few things so we ordered the fried calamari to start. What a huge plate! There were plenty of lemon wedges to sprinkle over it (a must) and the marinara sauce itself was so good you could dip a flip flop in it and it would still taste good. I ordered Chicken Parmesan, because I always judge an Italian place based on their chicken parm and this was to be no exception. I'm a snob, remember? They nailed it. The chicken was huge; evenly pounded to a uniform thickness, you can tell it's the old school hand breading method, and cooked perfectly throughout. Covered in that delicious marinara and a metric ton of mozzarella cheese, each bite was like good old fashioned comfort. It's served with a side of capellini (think a step up from angel hair if you're unfamiliar) and topped with marinara again. The snob in me subtracts a point for the pasta and sauce not being mixed together, but none of the pasta was overcooked and I could mix it easily myself. My buddy got the Gnocchi in Smoked Gouda Cream Sauce with Blackened Chicken. I actually tried a bite and it was creamy, nuanced in flavor with a rich, decadent sauce. Quite tasty. We finished with dessert, which they had a couple specials going. Limoncello cake with a sweetened mascarpone topping, and pumpkin cheesecake with toasted marshmallows. Both were great but get the pumpkin cheesecake if it's on the menu. Holy crap was it good - each bite tasted like Christmas. I kid you not. I'll end with this: I can't wait to go back."
"I had an amazing experience at The Pint and Brew! The Smokehouse Grilled Cheese was absolutely phenomenal--the brisket was incredibly juicy, and the pulled pork was packed with so much flavor. You could tell the bread was freshly made, which really elevated the sandwich. To pair with it, I tried the Sierra Nevada Hoptimum IPA (11%), and it was absolutely delicious--perfect for IPA lovers!Huge shoutout to the bartender, Emily, for recommending both my meal and drink. She nailed it! The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly and laid-back. Can't wait to come back!"
"Cozy little place. When you walk in the place is decorated in traditional Thai decor. The lighting is not super bright. Our group had 5 and we all enjoyed our dishes. The portions were perfect and prices were reasonable. Three of us ordered the drunken noodles and everyone cleaned their plates. The paid Thai needed more lime but that's easily remedied. We got there right before lunch on a Wednesday and they got our food out in no time. As we were leaving a large group came in and the staff seemed to handle the rush just fine."
"Such a cute place! Loved the decoration and ambiance! Our waiter was very helpful, friendly, and attentive even being as busy as it was that night. Was in the mood for wings and they were delicious, perfectly sauced and big! Mac n cheese was creamy and cheesy. Will come back to try more things when in Clearwater."
"Oh! Oh! So very very delicious! Pub is beyond charming. 19th century English pub decor. And those soups and sandwiches! Never had better. Staff is friendly. Parking adequate. Just Go!"
"Great local eatery. Went here with my husband, we are new in town and a neighbor suggested it. It is a tavern ambiance. We ordered two sandwiches and fries to split. The price was fair and the food was good. Definitely suggest the pork tenderloin sandwich my husband got. I don't have a picture to show it but it's a good size, hot, and a unique item we haven't seen on many menus. They have a decent size bar with TVs so you can watch sports games. Our waitress was nice, quick and gave good suggestions. We went on a Tuesday night, taco night, not very busy. We saw they have specials most nights, with a fish fry on Fridays."
"I always come to Yelp when I'm in an area I am not familiar with. Hubby and I were in Lakeland today and on our way to play it again sports we drove past this cool old building. I looked up what it was and it was this place!! The reviews seemed pretty promising. So on our way out of town we stopped for a bite to eat. My husband ordered the patty melt. Now the fries are homemade! They were delicious!! He said he should have stopped after eating just half but he convinced on and ate the whole thing! He said it was one of the better patty melts he has had. I picked wings and a side salad. The salad was delicious and the wings cooked perfectly!! The ranch was freaking amazing, of course homemade. This place likes to make craft food and from scratch! Worth the trip!! I was happy to be able to read the history of this place on the website: HISTORYA little over a mile from it's current Dixieland location, The Tudor House was originally built in 1927 near the intersection between W Beacon Rd. and S San Gully Rd. In 1935, following one failed attempt, by a previous owner to move the home, Mr. O. Forrest McGill moved it to it's previous location on 1068 Lake Hollingsworth Rd. The Tudor House changed hands over the next few decades until Mr. Gene Holloway bought it in 1969. Through the years, various owners and renovations, the house came to look quite different than it does today. Mr. Holloway expanded on the building too; adding a garage, more bedrooms, bathrooms, an entertainment bar, and ball room. Primarily built to entertain business partners, and out of town guests, it is known that even Elvis spent some time in Mr. Holloway's mansion in the 1970's after a performance at the Lakeland Civic Center. Robert Mozingo, and his wife Madeline, purchased the home in 1987. Enamored by Gene's sense of style, especially the Arabian décor in the master bedroom, the socially active family also used the home to entertain guests. When it was purchased from the Mozingos in 2014, the new owners announced plans to replace the storied home with a new structure. Mr. Gregory Fancelli and a few others took action to save and relocate the original, historic portion of the building, known as The Tudor House. As we were getting to know Lakeland and looking at homes for our business, we came across The Tudor and Gregory. After a few discussions about our passion for community, storytelling, preservation, and how we believed the craft of food and drink has the power to unite us all, we became fast friends, and were blessed with the space and opportunity to collectively create Cob & Pen. We are excited our journeys have brought us together. We're excited to welcome everyone into our home where we hope you will take some time to look around, appreciate the craftsmanship and detail of our space, expand your palate as you experience our craft, and expect to enjoy time well spent, as welcomed guests, crafting your story in our home while we carry on The Tudor's tradition to entertain."
"Decided to try a new place in the area. I am going to keep this short and simple since we didn't have food and they don't serve any anyways. Tucked on the corner of Sligh and N Orleans Avenue is this beer bar. There is a pool table and dart board along with a little side table with board and card games to play while sipping on a good cold brew. They have a vast selection of beers on tap. Trust me, you won't have a problem finding something. There is plenty of seating inside, but they also have a really nice outdoor area to enjoy that is covered. If you are hungry, there is a food truck parked right on the outside of the entrance to the "beer garten". I am not sure if they change the food truck, but at the time that we went, it happened to be a Taco truck. The staff is engaging and super nice. We will definitely be back the next time we are in that area. YELPERS....claim your 50% off of your first draft upon your very first check-in offer!!"

SUPER GOOD!! we were a bit hesitant to go because its outdoors and it was windy, but still went because reviews were good. our server, sheri was so kind and was talking to others about her life and it sounded incredible. the chicken sandwich (recommend grilled) doesn't even taste like chicken it tastes 10x better. the BREAD was SUPER GOOD. the burger was also very good! i think this restaurant deserves more than a 5, judging the hospitality and FRESH INGREDIENTS!!!! **aftermath (a couple hours later): we were very dehydrated because we realized the food is VERY SALTY!!

Everyone likes a good pizza and I just happened to be close by. Funny enough I've had Fabrica on my radar for the longest time but forgot the name , only for it to pop up once again. It's funny how things work out but let's talk about the goods!!MVP - It's a hot honey pizza and it's darn good. The cup pepperoni's are excellent and the tomato sauce was fresh and perfectly balanced. Neapolitan pizzas are softer but just as good as a New York style imo. The hot honey provided the right amount of sweet heat to make this an exceptional pizza. Pizza date? Let me know thanks

Gino's Restaurant & Bar- Nostalgia Served Hot and FreshStepping into Gino's felt like opening up a time capsule I forgot I even had. The feeling that was brought to me once I walked in whisked me back to my time spent living in Staten Island, New York from childhood to adult-hood. This hole in the wall eatery had immersed me back into a familiar warmth, tugging the sense of nostalgia that buries deep inside my senses and the feeling was even further strengthened as soon as my boyfriend and I were softly welcomed by the server who told us to sit anywhere we liked. A casual yet familiar invitation that reminded me of the homeyness I once felt. A simplicity yet cozy intimacy trivialized yet, a balance that resonated highly with us was the clear oscillation of this place. My boyfriend, a savant for great taste and portions especially from hole-in-the-walls found it to be an underrated gem. The space itself told stories of long lived family gatherings--a reminder of nostalgic times I once had with friends and family at a time. The broken in wooden tables and the vintage Italian family decor transported me to the sounds and ambiance of countless diners who have also enjoyed the place as much as I did. The service was a combination of attentiveness and comfort. From the immediate greeting from our waitress to her patience with us while we overlooked the menu was delightful. Then came the food, a hot tray of a half portion margarita pizza created a jump in sensory awareness that signaled it's freshness only anticipating us even more to try our meal. The act of eating transitioned to a more delicate handling of the food demanding a mindful approach. My grouper piccata was tangy, and the alfredo served as a part of the time capsule. Gino's is a clear illustration that exudes the hole-in the wall aesthetic you'll love.

Service was outstanding, food was very good. My son had the comfort grilled cheese, I had the patty melt. We both chose the homemade chips, but thought they would be hot. They were ok, but didn't taste too fresh. Only downside was the dude by the door that asked everyone who came in if he could get some money. Not a snob, but do appreciate eating without being asked for a handout. Can't say I have ever been in a restaurant eating while people were asking for money.

Nice interior and outdoor seating area, plus friendly and fast service. Had some solid veggie spring rolls and pork gyoza as appetizers that I would order again. The panang curry was on the sweet side rather than the savory side, and "hot" wasn't super spicy, so I would jump straight into "Thai hot" if you're a spice lover! Reasonable prices for downtown as well. Would return!

First time here and will be back. I've always passed this place and 12/12 was the day to go. They have daily specials and trivia on Wednesdays. Being a fully stocked tap house, learned that they're known for their beer and selection of bourbon. The space is so inviting and chill at the same time. Cooper was an awesome waiter. Walked through the drink menu with me and the top food items on the menu. I got the patty melt and the lasagna soup. Both great. Both extremely hot left with a free glass and some stickers for choosing the Christmas ale on 12/12. We love a festive groupParking is available but this plaza is notorious for having a lack of parking so recommend coming before the dinner rush (before 8pm).

Went to Cold Soup and had an excellent lunch! My wife had a big salad and a bowl of apple squash soup which was to die for. I had the Italian sandwich with a side of the pasta salad. The squash soup was so tasty, l brought half the sandwich home and I got a bowl of that soup for myself!!!

"Great spot to drop in. Clean bar/tables and friendly staff. Very helpful in suggestions. We didn't have any food but the menu looked nice."
"THEY CURRENTLY DELIVER FOR FREE.Not all heroes wear capes. Jillian and Christian, the owners of BRU Florida Growler Bar are definitely heroes, because they are making sure that you, yes you, can continue to be caffeinated and buzzed during this trying time (COVID-19 outbreak for those of you reading this in the future when it hopefully passes). For a minimum of 2 growlers, they will bring it to your house FOR FREE. Jillian even arrived gloved and let me know the bottles were wiped down. Yes, I know BRU is known for its awesome beer, but right now I am in dire need of caffeine. I normally don't drink any (how you might ask, by getting 9 hours of sleep a night), but (and you can skip this part because it is probably way too detailed) because it looks like Tom Brady is coming to Tampa, I am currently single parenting it with my one and a half year old. (My husband works in sales for the Bucs and they are probably the only ones doing great in this economy. He worked till midnight yesterday.)I can't afford to be tired since that will lead to me laying on the ground crying next to the screaming toddler. That's where BRU came in. I got the rest of their cans of Made coffee, which is crazy delicious btw, and I'm getting two growlers filled with Nitro Cold Brew (I know it will turn just into Cold Brew, but just shoot the caffeine in my veins).I am really impressed with the sanitation measures Jillian went through when she delivered it and they are still trying to pay their bartenders. This is why DO NOT FORGET TO TIP ON YOUR ORDER. We want our local businesses to stay afloat during this time. Send BRU an email and get that caffeine and beer you need."
"We decided on this restaurant based on the reviews we saw on Google and some feedback from one of the parties from the area that they had great food before having a brick and mortar location. We went on a Saturday night and they were not that busy. It started to get busy and after we were seated it took a while to by acknowledged and take our order. Service is lacking because 1 person is the one taking care of all tables. It seemed rhat he was overwhelmed and was not as friendly. He changed a bit as we got our meal. We got checked on twice but almost until the end of our meal. To add, we waited about 1 hr to get our meal. The ambiance is not what you would expect for a steakhouse, so be warned that if you want a fancy comfortable restaurant feel, you will not get that sort of ambiance. Now on to the food, it was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was made with quality ingredients, good flavor, well made and good presentation. If you want to have a good meal and do not mind the wait or the different ambiance, you will sure enjoy your food."
"This is why we love Yelp! In an unfamiliar place and landed this gem for dinner. As my 13 yr old daughter said, "this place was great even though they're Buckeye fans Mom!"We enjoyed the antipasto salad, meatball sub, and spaghetti + meatballs. All were exceptionally good, generous portions, and served w/ smiles. Def stop in when in the area. You won't regret it! Just make sure to tell them...GO BLUE!!"
"Bringing a bit of class to Tarpon Springs you can tell the owners wanted to take wine bars to the next level and they succeeded. This upscale establishment sets the stage for class and comfort with its urban industrial loft feel complete with couch living room spaces and long counter bar. The wine list is EXTENSIVE and thoughtful. The menu is fitting for an upscale wine bar while also being a foodie dream. So many amazing food items it was hard to decide. With $20 wine flights, $5 sangria Tuesdays live music twice a week, a novel of premium wines, and an epicurean light fair menu, this is the spot to be for the sophisticated and discerning wine lover. There is a small beer menu as well for those being accompanied by non wine drinkers. And a handful of non alcoholic drinks. On the menu tonight was the 1000 day Harvest Flatbread and it was PHENOMENAL! The carmelized onions and balsamic drizzle had me pairing it with an equally phenomenal Malbec. The pricing is not cheap but fitting for the taste and quality Wine Society is the place to be.I will definitely be back"
"Wow! What a secret GEM! This place has such a great drinks, food and ambiance! We went on the coldest night of the year and they had cocktails to warm you up that were made fresh that night! It was movie night and they played the movie Elf. When it was the scene of the snowball fight, the owner Jeni sent all the kids out back to have their very own snowball fight! It's rare to find a place that cares so much about their customers the way this place does! The menu is small but the food is delicious and there is something for everyone including vegans! They have beer and wine but they make cocktails out of them that won't have you missing the liquor! They have games for kids and adults, a private room for events and an amazing outside area for eating, music and your fur babies! There is something for everyone in this place! HIGHLY recommend! Our new favorite spot!"
"It's nice to see the El Rodeo chain out here in Sun City. The area is filled with Mom & Pop Mexican Restaurants....which is not a bad thing, but occasionally I like the fully decorated Mexican theme which is El Rodeo's trademark. This establishment has been open 8 months, and still no Yelp page! Plus, no customers...Could there be a connection? Yelp page added, hopefully customers will follow!I ordered the Shrimp Ceviche Michoacáno ($16.99) to go. Check out the photo! The presentation was excellent even in a carry out container. Plenty of bits of shrimp, pico de gallo, crackers, and avocado. Only 2 thin slices of lime. Still was delicious. Solid 4 stars."
"Bar service was great! Small little divey bar with plenty of TVs and great beer/liquor selection. Shot specials. Nice atmosphere in this bar. Very different from the other places on Clearwater beach. Would recommend to anyone looking for a change of pace from the other beach spots. Stop in for a drink! You won't be disappointed!"
"Shocked and amazed, real pizza in Plant City Florida Crust is everything and this is just fantastic Thank you for the hard work-it shows"
"NPR finally gets a nice chill spot to hang out and enjoy some beer. I love the rustic vibe of Ordinance One. During the holidays, I was back home for the week. I stopped in with a big group of family and friends for a few drinks to start the night enjoying all the new additions to Downtown. This place is beautifully done. I love the high vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and brick walls really showing off the original craftsmanship of this old building. Plenty of seating. Nice big bar. They have a great selection of beer from local breweries. There was also live music the night we stopped in. I wish the owners lots of luck and hope this place sticks around. I will be sure to stop in on my next night out in the area."
"I can't believe I waited so long before trying this place, because they have the BEST PIZZA ever! The quality is far above anything I've had since I lived in NYC many years ago. I literally had to stop eating after my first bite, close my eyes and make yummy sounds and open a bottle of wine because it was that good. I was like, "OMG! This is the best pizza!" and it is, far superior to any delivery place. I can't wait to get back to this place :)"
"Walled in here just to grab a drink while we figured out where to have dinner but this ended up being one of he best little spots! We had 32oz margs for $6 each and a order of Brussels that were awesome. I wanted to stay and keep hanging out. This place is a great mix of dive bar, good eats, and inexpensive but delicious and big cocktails. Def stop in here this place was great and Joshua was the best!!"
"Delicious!!!! The food was so amazing and fresh. I loved the ambience. So cozy and inviting. The service was above and beyond. Since they are newly opened, they brought us some things to try that we hadn't ordered, which was so nice. We started with the crispy cornbread and the bruschetta. Both were very tasty and I loved the presentation of the bruschetta on a wooden board. I had the salmon piccata for my entree. It was wonderful--lots of capers, which earns extra points for me. My mom had the lamb shank which was a huge portion and beautifully presented, as well as delicious. Other dishes ordered by our party were the pasta carbonara, tortellini with Alfredo and the New York Strip with mashed potatoes. Everything was very good. We finished with a piece of the cheesecake with fresh berries. Yum!"
"Decent little dive bar with decent dive bar food!! The bartender was really nice and the food came out quickly! Would go again."
"Love this new offering in the Channelside area. It is very nondescript so you may miss it, but us locals are quickly figuring out what a hidden gem this place is. They are open daily 2pm-2am so perfect for late night refreshments. The space is very cozy, but it is laid out and decorated very well. Multiple TVs are also spread throughout their space, so it is easy to catch any game that may be going on. The bar is beer/wine only, but their food is some of the best around this area currently. We tried the dry rub air fried wings, Margherita pizza, and the Buffalo chicken pizza. All of the food we had was great and made fresh. Everyone in our group was satisfied with the food and portion sizes and we even had plenty left to take home. Overall, a great addition to the new bars/eateries opening up in this area."
