"Best service best bbq! Don't let the place fool you we were driving and wanted bbq it was off the hook insane great !!! The people inside serving make it like a family house!!!! Try the desserts! Finger licking lip smacking!!!"
"We were in the area and my husband looked up places near by. Against our better judgement we tried this place instead of going across the street.... Our first hint should have been zero customers being there. You order at the counter and they bring you the plates. You get your own silverware, napkins, bbq sauce in the middle station. There are several tables to choose from and sit yourself. My husband ordered the rib dinner, I ordered a 1/2 bbq chicken plate and my daughter ordered the kids pulled pork. My son got a side of baked beans. BOTH my son and daughters beans had hair in them. The meat was clearly reheated. The rub? On the chicken was awful. Tasted like licking carpet. So I pulled the skin off and ate some of the chicken. Greens were weird. Sweet tasting. The parsley potatoes were ok. Lot of butter and overcooked. My husbands ribs were ok, but also reheated. He ordered macaroni salad and greens. He said the macaroni salad was also awful. I do not recommend this place and would never go back."

"I always wanted to try this place and after my Sister and I read the menue we had to try the food here.First off the Hostess Maggie and Isabel were extreamly friendly and gracious, added to the fact that they both were wearing high top Converse which reminded me all the cool people in the East Village of my hometown NYC.Our waitress Emily was Fantastic and gave such amazing recommendations that of course we all took her advice. And everything was to perfection. The Best brisket that I've ever had and in NYC there's so many top notch delis. The brisket was very delicious and as requested hardly any fat.The garlic mashed potatoes were to die for as well.A creamy flavor and mouth watering.By 7pm there was a talented duo serenading every from the stage outside. This is a must destination for all my future Florida trip's and my new favorite place in Dunedin."
"To be honest, I first thoughts were confused. Which building do I go to? There are at least three to choose from. My first inclination out by the pond was incorrect. I think this must be for private events. After being pointed in the right direction, I found myself in a very small dining room that was hustling and bustling. I got in at just the right time because after I was sat there were several parties that came in being added to the list. Apparently larger groups are sat at one of the other three buildings on site. It's pretty loud. You hear the chopping of the barbecue, the staff yelling out orders. Did I mention how busy the to-go side was? This place must be well known in the area. I have to give the staff a 10 out of 10. Everyone was super busy, on point, even when people were being annoying and demanding they all still kept their positive attitude. You must have to know what you're getting into to work at this establishment. Now on to the food. I was siding to see they did not offer Brunswick stew. That is a huge component of barbecue for me, being from Georgia. I chose the pulled pork which was nice and tender, I enjoyed the flavor and the brisket. It was a bit fatty at first glance, but overall I enjoyed it. The mac and cheese was creamy and you could really taste the pronounced garlic flavor and the green beans. All of their barbecue sauces were delicious. I especially loved the hellacious hot. They have something good here. If you're in the area I would give it a try."
"YES!! Kalbi plate was delicious, mac salad was delicious, spam musubi was delicious! Go eat here. I only wish they had poi.Service was awesome. Food is cooked to order so it comes out piping hot and it's not instant."
"I've found the best BBQ in tampa!!My boss was telling me about the best BBQ and i thought he was exaggerating but he tells no lies! My fiance and I went to Konans and immediately hit with the breathtaking bbq smell. We ordered the rib dinner and the chopped chicken and rib dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans. Also ordered 7up pound cake but i ate it before i could get a picture! The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the flavor itself was indescribable. Im not a sauce fan but whatever this sauce is i need it in a bottle ASAP. Mac and cheese and baked beans always are a hit with BBQ and theirs was the perfect addition. We paid about $50 for both plates with tip and honestly this plate is worth double that! The service was incredible, we could tell it was family owned by how much pride everyone took in the food. Ill be telling my friends about this place from now on."
"Fantastic food and service. I enjoyed the Cajun Sweet Fried Chicken. The atmosphere is great, you can choose inside or outside and receive the same service. Will be back."
"Really enjoyed the food here! The staff was super friendly, and it was verrrry busy on a Friday evening so we took the last 2 seats at the bar. My friend loves their pulled pork, so we split the pulled pork sliders and he got wings too. The dry rubbed smoked wings were really tasty, and I love when wings aren't greasy. The fries were nice and crispy, and you can't really go wrong with waffle fries! I liked the pulled pork a lot! Their sweet bbq sauce was delicious. Really zero complaints. Prices aren't crazy either. Solid spot for elevated bar food. Bathroom was a little questionable, but once again it was a really busy Friday night."
"I've passed this place so many times and I finally decided to stop in. Hands down the best BBQ in tampa!! The staff is so kind and take great care of you. All the food is delicious. There's plenty of places to sit inside or take it to go. I've gone back several times since!"
"The food was overall delicious . Good portions. I would suggest that the owners expand their selection of BBQ sauces. I recommend a sweet sauce, and a mustard based sauce to add to their selection. Good sauce makes the BBQ. It's all about the sauce!"
"Great local place! Madison was our server and she was super friendly and attentive. Our drinks were never empty and her recommendation was on point. We got the full chicken nachos and asked for toppings on side as hubby and I like different tops. They make the bbq sauce in house and it's served warm which is great at keeping your food warm. The chips are also made fresh on site and are perfect. We also got hot and naked wings and which definitely had a little kick. We enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating which offers shade and fans on warm days. There were people who came with their puppy and the server brought out a fresh bowl of water. Definitely recommend and will be back!!"
"Oh my goodness! The food that this team is putting out ROCKS! Could we talk about the fact that it is kind of like a mini food hall under one adorable roof?! Thank you team member Jordan for letting us know that right off the bat. The Smokin' Cuban and Station House BBQ were both open when we were there today at The Salt Smokehouse. The Baby Brisket's Breakfast Co. was not. So looking forward to checking that concept out soon. Okay, let's get to the Cuban sandwich we devoured today with the enthusiasm is two people who had not eaten in 2 days. That is not the case at all but you would have thought as much looking at the two of us in AWE of the flavors, the size of the sandwich and the overall combination of flavors. Our was the Smokin' Cuban...according to Jordan, their best seller. We also shared the Bella's Bowl which had sections of each unique and perfectly prepared ingredient nestled in a large bowl that allowed us to dive in with grace and pure pleasure! Overall this had to have been the BEST "That place looked interesting. Make a U-turn honey and let's check it out." place we have ever last-minute decided on that way and LOVED EVERY MOMENT of the dining experience."

Collard greens were good and spicy. Macaroni and Cheese was very good. The combination of smoked sausage and pulled pork was good and savory. The BBQ sauce was tangy and flavorful. Love the authentic ambience.

It's called Kojak's House of Ribs, so of course I had to sample! Did the three meat plate to try a bit of everything. The ribs were fantastic, the pork was really good as well! I wasn't crazy about the brisket mix, but it didn't take away from the rest! The Mac and cheese is very unique, a must try for sure! You order at the counter and get your own sauce, utensils, etc.I usually don't go for dessert but as I was with friends we ordered two and shared - the apple pie is great, but the chocolate cake is killer!Fairly simple, no frills... I will be back!

Four lovely ladies met for lunch at the smokehouse. It was a beautiful day after all the cold so we sat outside at a table in the sun. Everyone ordered something different and delicious. We all enjoyed our food. The service was on the slow side so we had plenty of time to converse and to enjoy watching the many dogs at the patio as well as all the people walking by.

Solid BBQ but inconsistent. For example sometimes the chicken skin is crispy, sometimes it's soggy. Also a little tip, service is better on the main side. If the try to seat you in the guest house say no thanks get your food "to go" then eat on the picnic benches outside because otherwise you'll wait at least twice as long for your meal. My favorite sauce is the mustard bbq. They also have Nettles sausage which is a Florida original.

This place gets a lot of hype so I decided to give it a try.So one day when I didn't want to cook, since I live very close by, I decided to walk over and order. The lady at the cash register was very nice, but frankly, that is the only nice thing I can say about my experience.

I really wanted to love Konan's but my food just wasn't it. An old friend of mine use to rave about how delicious the food was and honestly I wish I would've never listened to him lol.Off rip I could tell the sides weren't homemade. The Mac n cheese was flavorless and the greens undercooked. I have never in my life had crunchy/tough collard greens until eating from here. The meat was decent and I enjoyed the pineapple drink they're known for but to be honest this plate wasn't worth the money spent. If I didn't live so far from the establishment I would've took it back!

Look. We came here about a year ago? And WALKED OUT because we waited too long (more than three minutes) to be even acknowledged in a virtually empty place.... and the bartender was wearing a face mask.We heard that a friend was working here so came up for a drink and an app. What a SURPRISE!!! Everything has been fantastic. Got a ride on the Eaton Express from the runoff parking and am currently having some of the best fried oysters we have had in a looooong time! So good, in fact, that I am rudely posting at the table! Nicely done! The service staff is super attentive and willing to help.Fryer, Expo and food runner - Thank you! Excellent!

We checked out Angry Pepper earlier this week, and we absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.I ended up ordering 12 black and shrimp. You can pick from various sauces on the side, and I would recommend the sweet and tangy shrimp sauce that goes with it. Shrimp: 8.8Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after trying once

"We had just picked up my eldest son at TPA and he had a mad hankering for BBQ! Jimbo's was a random pick and we were all SO happy because it is fabulous! Homemade pickles and peppers! Terrific ribs, beef (sirloin) and their coleslaw too is excellent! Their hush puppies were perfection! And our server awesome! we three HIGHLY RECOMMEND you try Jimbos!"
"Came here to eat after a recommendation from our manatee snorkeling tour guide. Highly recommend if you're searching for a spot to eat seafood in the area! The service was phenomenal. I was a little chilly outside and they asked if I would like the fan turned off, after that the temperature was perfect. They have outdoor heaters as well for when it gets chilly. The service was prompt and accurate. It was lovely sitting outside on the patio while watching the sunset. All of the food was delicious and brought out quickly. We ordered: 2 Rum Punches, Gator Bites, Salmon Poke Bowl, Blackened Shrimp Poke Bowl, and Key Lime Pie. I highly recommend trying the gator bites, they taste like juicy chicken nuggets. The seafood all tasted fresh and delicious - you have the option of requesting raw or cooked salmon in the poke bowl. The key lime pie tasted great as well and was plated nicely. Thanks for the delicious dinner Waterfront Social!"
"We really enjoyed Smokin' Jim's, as they have the best butt in town! The smokehouse is what we saw first. Always love to see how the grillmaster is doing his/her thing. When asked for a really charred steak for Saturday Steak Night medium rare, we got just that! I really enjoyed that each food item I ordered quite fit my palette. The ribs still had the membrane crispy and toasty, dry rubbed with natural juices, the green beans steamed soft and brothy-flavored, the coleslaw sweet & crisp, and the mild BBQ sauce a bit smoky, sweet, and tangy. We had a hard-working waitress, well-versed at her job, calm, and composed. She took care of us quite well. Jim also came out to greet his guests & we got to chit chat with him. It seems like a spot for locals, and generally a welcoming spot."
"Amazing food. Friendly service. It's quick service. Order at a counter and pick a table, but the food was way better than expected. One of the best chicken sandwiches. Delicious. Great chips."
"People are nice but counter service was slow the night we were there. We weren't the only ones who thought so. We sat inside but the outside patio looks nice too. These guys kill the sides!! Bbq beans and sweet potato casserole are fantastic! So is the Mac and cheese. The nice surprise were their garlic butter (fried) biscuits. They are the fried plantain looking things with the brisket. They are delicious! The meat? Ehhh. The Cajun dry rub smoked wings had nice flavor and paired amazing with the Cajun bbq sauce. There was zero smoke profile though. None. Same with the brisket. Nice pink looking smoke ring all around. Zero smoke flavor. It tasted like delicious Jewish deli brisket. If I had a blind fold on, never would have guessed it was smoked. Without a blindfold, still can't taste smoke your eyes say should be there. We'll be back because the sides are THAT good and I want to try the ribs."
"This was my fiancé's and my second visit to Blackburn's BBQ in East Lake, Florida, and it did not disappoint. The first time, we tried the pulled pork, which was absolutely amazing. This time, we went for the smoked half chicken with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, smoked to perfection, and so tender it practically melted in your mouth--almost buttery. It was so flavorful it didn't even need barbecue sauce.Speaking of barbecue sauce, Blackburn's makes and bottles their own, and it's a must-buy when you visit. While I haven't tried the spicy version yet, my fiancé and I purchased the sweet barbecue sauce, and it's incredible. As for the sides, the macaroni and cheese was creamy and delectable, and the collard greens took me back to my roots as a Southern girl--they were just like I remember growing up.Not only is the food outstanding, but the restaurant itself is immaculate. The lawn is meticulously manicured, and the interior, including the bathrooms, is spotless. To me, clean bathrooms are a sign of how much care goes into the entire establishment. The owner, Brandon, makes it a point to walk around and check on his guests. We had the pleasure of meeting and talking to him during our visit and hearing his story. He's truly on the right track with this barbecue business. We drove two hours to eat here, and it was worth every mile. If you make the trip, you won't regret it.I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take photos--please forgive me this time!"
"This is definitely one of those "don't judge a book by its cover" spots! From the outside, it might look a bit intimidating (to say the least, lol), but once you step inside, you're welcomed by the mouthwatering aroma of smoky meats. The menu is short, and we followed our waitress's recommendation to try the ribs with mac & cheese--honestly, they were fantastic! We also ordered the chopped chicken, which was pretty good. The banana bread pudding was a nice sweet treat to end the meal. Unfortunately, everything else we tried fell below average. That said, a big shoutout to our waitress--she was incredibly kind and sweet, which made our visit much more enjoyable. Overall, it's worth checking out for the ribs and great service!"
"Absolutely they serve Vietnamese foods and Korean foodsI can't wait to go back again. I have gotten take out and it was delicious. Tu think the food they seve is quite abit. Pho soup takes me 3-4 different meals. That's me. Someone Else may eat the whole thing in one setting."
"I can't get over their way very often but did again recently. Had to wait on a parking spot as the entire lot was full. Stood in the long line to place my order, waited a bit to have my order served but I'D EVEN WAIT LONGER EVERY SINGLE TIME. That place is amazing. ABSOLUTELY the best chopped pork you will ever eat. Collards are to die for. No wonder this place is rated the best bbq in Tampa"
"Excellent eatery! Sim's has the best smoked mullet in the area. Great pulled pork, too. Other seafood is available. Stop in sometime if your in Seffner, FL."
"Although we were seated right away on a Friday around 6pm. The waitress didn't greet us for about 10 minutes. Going to the bathroom the floors felt slippery-oily like. The bar ran out of captain morgan and couldn't make drink from their menu. They also ran out of prime rib yesterday. I ordered 1/2 ribs and fries. The ribs were a bit salty for me and not juicy enough. The fries were crispy and salty. This being my first time here I wasn't impress. I would return to try maybe one of their sandwich or burger, or maybe a fish selection."
"This is a great place for bbq and those smoked ox tails...omg..the only place I'd get oxtails from! Other than the corn soufflé, the sides need some help. They are best for the bbq! Very nice gentlemen though!"
"Friendly, fast service. We recommend the teriyaki and rice. Chicken and pork were bland. The gravy fries were way too salty, like saltier than the ocean."
"Simple food with great service we love this place. Old school drive inn with good food and great prices"
"A tasty strip mall BBQ on Davenport. Had a pulled pork, which was about the best that I've tried in this area. Nice atmosphere and pleasant service. Perfect for a quick bite away from the madness and traffic which is Davenport. If I lived in the area, this would probably be "on the rotation"."
"This is a super cool place on a great piece of property. We love that you can sit outside in shade or in the cute dining room with booths, high tops, or regular tables. Beer: cans and bottles. The pork quesadilla was excellent as were the baked beans. The chicken leg was very good. The corn bread wasn't served warm and was a little too sweet for me. The Hudson Heat is a good sauce. Lots of great dishes to try. Good service too. We will definitely be back and sorry it took so long to try it."
"Good serviceHamburgers and tots were very good.Bbq sandwich was tasty.Highly recommend!!!"
"Pit Boss has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years now. It's a tiny little place tucked away in this small plaza. I usually find parking in the front but they also have parking around back as well. It is dark when you walk in and the bbq smell greets you as you walk in in a non overpowering and welcoming way. If your not hungry before you open the door you will be when you smell what's cooking. A friendly environment good for family, causal get togethers or even the lunch meeting/after hours session. It is not intimate and they do have a bar are with some tv's to catch a game. Staff has always been great, friendly and attentive. But it's really all about the food. Affordable prices, decent quantities not overflowing plates but really satisfying for sure. Everything here is great. Hope you go and enjoy!"
"Recently, Sarge's moved into NoHo Junction. They still have the food truck and it's out and about. It's nice to be able to meander in and grab some tasty bbq. Amazing customer service! The menu is traditional bbq with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. Homemade bbq sauce starts with the sweet, spicy and mustard. All very tasty and yummy. The bbq here tends to lean towards the sweet versus the savory. It's all delicious. The baked beans are rather unique with chunks of meat, a variety of beans, and pineapple. Trust me, it really works. I've tried the pork, chicken, and brisket. They offer regular fries and parmesan as well. YUM!!! Great spot to grab a meal."
"Currently still full from eating so many rolls & butter lol. Had the best experience at dinner tonight - our server was the sweetest and checked up on us multiple times + kept our water full! I was craving ribs and they were delicious, no complaints :) I rarely go to Texas Roadhouse (maybe once a year), consider this my yearly fix!"
"Came here today and we were pretty hangry bc we were awfully irritable. Our food here instantaneously turned us around. First impression was a very friend male working hard cooking the food and greeting everyone. I can tell he is very dedicated and cares about the service and the food. Ordered the garlic shrimp and the huli huli chicken. When it came out it was very good. Stacked plates like mountains full of our chicken and shrimp, fried rice with spam and macaroni salad. It was seasoned well and flavor was very tasty. We were very satisfied. The one thing was the ventilation is not great here. We moved 3 times. We smelled the smoke from the kitchen. Once we sat closer to the front door, it was much better."
"Fantastic! My husband and I stopped in here real quick before we continued our drive back to Tampa and omg what a pleasant surprise! He loves BBQ and was very excited. I'm not a huge BBQ person so I got a cheeseburger. He was super happy with everything, I loved my burger and I even tried his pulled pork and it was very tender and the flavor was very nice. All in all the food was bangin and the price is right, this was one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had in my life. And I eat a lot of cheeseburgers. Service was good and fast, place is clean and easily accessible. Idk when we will be out here next but we will definitely be back!"
"Had our Super Bowl family party catered and everything was delicious! We had the party pack for 15 hoping for leftovers.... We had 8 people, and the 4 hungry men were very satisfied! Ribs, pulled Pork, brisket and smoked chicken! Yum!!! Everything was packed up so nicely, and was extremely easy to place out and dig in. Will absolutely order for our next gathering!"
