"Came in for lunch with my mother and she got the steak sandwich and I got the Cuban sandwich and I have to say her sandwich was far superior to mine. Not to say that my sandwich was bad just liked her sandwich much better. I will say they have the best desserts! We received our sandwiches in a timely manner. Always enjoy visiting Moreno's Bakery."

"Always a fresh choice of sweet treats and the cafe con letche is on point. We enjoyed two different sandwiches, very tasty"
"This place rocks! Come for breakfast or dinner, your taste buds will thank you. I especially love their espresso cookies. I tried to mimic them and made a dozen at home, wasn't the same. Oh I wish i could get the recipe"
"Always great service, calming quaint vibe, and the best gluten free chocolate chip cookies ever !"
"So good. Loved everything we had here. The arepas were bomb. So we're all the pastries. Can't wait to go back!"
"AMAZING!!! My favorite part of my florida trip for sure. incredible food, service, and desserts. Very cozy and a great authentic place."
"This is the best little Authentic Italian Bakery, Coffee shop, brekkie/lunch Cafe with a Gourmet Italian foods & wine shop inside. The BEST ONE that I have ever seen in my life stateside. Better than ANY in New York City even. Def the most romantic. It's just like a Little Gourmet Italian Shop in Italy, that has the best selection of The freshest Italian foods, wines & coffee, all under one roof. They even have a cold cooler section of gourmet Italian "grab & go" prepared foods like Bolognese sauce, lasagna, meatballs, soups & pastas etc., & fabulous lobster ravioli! OuiOui. Last month when we were there we got the Lobster ravioli, brought it home & made it for dinner. It was so yummy. We take all kinds of foods home now, just like we do when we visit "Jimmy's" in Dallas, Texas. My other favorite Italian shop ststeside :)..Anyhoo, the Italian wine section here is small but also superb! Yes, we shop here for our "on the go grab & go" Gourmet Italian foods & wines. OuiOui. Right now they are having a summer wine Sale special. OuiOui. They also have "Italian sushi" lots of different fresh antipasti veggies available for appetizers, salads, paninis etc., The best part is they bake all their own Italian breads & pastry. They are ALL spectacular. The giant round boule is our fave & ALL the pastries are fabulous. The strawberry crema croissant is literally the best thing I have ever eaten. Hubby also says it's his #1 fave. We both also love the lemon ricotta one, the cinnamon roll, the almond crema croissant & the giant Ham & provolone stuffed plain croissant sammy. ALL of them are 2.die.4 :)...And, AND, they make the best cappuccinos/Double Cappuccinos. Pretty strong too. The single is just fine for moi. I don't think it will be safe for moi to do their double cappuccino haha. The staff is just wonderful humans, service is always so pleasant. Their outdoor dining in their little italiano gardens is so fabulous & very romantico. The tiny coffee bar inside is so much fun & the restrooms are always clean & smell nice. OuiOui. We adore everything about this Gorgeous Authentic Italiano, super unique & very romantic little Cafe. My only wish is they were open late. Added to moi list of Best Bakeries in America..Best Italiano..Best Coffee places..And Most Romantic. Will return & Often.Highest Recommendations."
"This place has the best breakfast sandwiches in Clearwater ! Me and my friends were looking for breakfast spots and we were not disappointed. The eggs were delicious and fluffy. Will definitely be back next time I come to Clearwater"
"Coffee was delicious. Croissant was soft and buttery. Service at the drive thru was quick and friendly."
"What a hidden gym!!!! We saw it on signs got curious looked it up! And yummy we were so overwhelmed by so much offerings there, we needed bigger stomachs! The staff celebrated another staffs birthday! Omg so cute! Great work environment for sure!We did the hot line this time with a few pastries togo!Next time we come we are getting the sandwiches!"
"So it's been a while since hubby and I have been here. They have did some work on the inside, looks good. Doesn't have much seating however. The menu has grown a lot, plenty more food options. Service still good, friendly ladies. Sandwiches still good as well. Enjoyed me a tasty Rueben sandwich and hubby got a Cuban. Have to go back and try some of the new menu items. Great place for lunch or dinner."

I haven't been to Moreno's forever and forgotten how wonderful it is. They have everything from lite bites to thee most incredible desserts. I went Friday evening, sadly on a partially full stomach. My eyes wanted to try everything, but my stomach settled on chicken noodle soup and a chicken empanada. O M G, it was the right choice and more than filling. The soup was thick and hearty, with a chunk of corn on the cob and chicken in it. The thick cut veggies were tender, not mushy and the broth was perfectly seasoned. I could not eat it all and had the leftovers for lunch on Saturday and it was just as perfect the second time around. As for the empanada, perfect! Thick pieces of chicken and fresh spices wrapped in a heavenly dough. I couldn't eat all of it and brought it home for a midnight snack. Still tender and wonderful hours later. The reason I could not eat all of my meals was that my dining partner and forever decided on the Swai fish with spinach soufflé and yucca. The tenderness of the lightly fried Swai and spinach soufflé was something my fork could not keep resisting. The creaminess of the soufflé left me wanting more. The yucca was tender and warm. Unfortunately, none of his meals made it home. This hidden gem is a few mere miles from home and I drive by it almost daily. Sadly, I did not try any desserts. I've had their sweets before and they are beyond delicious. I think I will stop by one morning this week and treat my office staff to their wonderful sweet morsels and do a post just on them. A wonderful find in Brandon and worth going back!

This little Cuban café and bakery was a delightful find! With over a hundred years of history, it's a true gem in Tampa. We started with a guava cheese pastry--huge, flaky, and bursting with flavor. It was the perfect sweet treat after our traditional Cuban sandwich. The sandwich itself was everything you'd hope for: a perfectly thin, crispy layer of bread, generous portions of meat, and that ideal mix of mayo, mustard, and pickles. Every bite hit all the right notes for a classic Cuban. We also tried the beef and cheese empanada. At first, I hesitated at the $5 price tag for a small empanada, but after one bite, it was clear it was worth every penny. It was generously stuffed with flavorful picadillo, seasoned ground beef with onions and peppers, giving it a surprising and delicious spicy kick at the end. Overall, the flavors were outstanding. This is definitely a place worth revisiting--an authentic Cuban bakery you'll want to return to again and again!

Pane Rustica delivered an unforgettable dining experience! We started with the tomato and burrata appetizer, which was fresh and flavorful--the perfect way to begin the evening. Paired with a few glasses of delicious wine, we were already in heaven before the main course arrived. The highlight of the night was the bacon and goat cheese pizza, which we customized by substituting goat cheese for the Gorgonzola (I'm not a huge fan or Gorgonzola). It was perfection, especially with their homemade ranch dressing on the side--it's a must-try!To finish, we ordered in their espresso cookies served with ice cream, and let me tell you, they were to die for. The cookies were warm, rich, and perfectly complemented by the creamy ice cream.A special shoutout to our server, Annie, who absolutely elevated the experience. She was a delight to chat with and guided us through the menu with spot-on recommendations.Pane Rustica is a gem, and we can't wait to return

Every time we go here it's always a hit! If you go on a weekend, be sure to preorder the night before so you can go straight to the pickup line. Wednesdays aren't bad at all and you'll wait in line maybe 5-10 minutes tops. The vegan peanut butter coffee is the BEST! Also highly recommend the cinnamon roll, breakfast sandwiches, and pretty much every single bakery item they offer. The decor is adorable and I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

Myself and most neighbors know about our neighborhood gem, so I'm a loyal eater! From the totally amazing taste and diversity pastries to the hot food. My go to are the cheese puff biscuits. Get them warm and you'll be a fan forever too. If you're looking to show off at a dinner party or a birthday, get a cake from here. It's just so damn good!

"Here's the deal: clearly, locals love it.But lots of people also love McDonald's.Hive-mind popularity is not an indication of quality.Their patrons' palates are not refined enough to recognize how far behind this place is in terms of standards.Want a chewy doughball with hardly any cinnamon or frosting? They've got it. We waited at least 20 minutes for two sandwiches, one of which was the buffalo chicken. I assumed the chicken was being freshly battered, deep-fried, and prepared to deliver a crispy, juicy, mouth-watering, finger-licking good treat.Instead, what I got was a hastily made sandwich, crafted with the finesse of a drunken college fry cook. It was smashed to bits, likely made with par-baked, frozen Tyson chicken strips--no crunch, no flavor, and barely any buffalo sauce.Uninspired, delayed, and completely off the mark. Why is the sourdough loaf so dense, gummy, and anemic-looking? It does have a nice sour bite, and when toasted at home, it becomes edible--that's its only saving grace.Scholars will be studying Tampa's fascination with this place for decades."
"The only true patisserie in Tampa! No detail is missed when it comes to chef Brenda's pastries. For those that are unaware, aside from a chef's skills what really separates the pastries are the ingredients used, such as unbrominated flour and gianduja chocolate to name a few. This will change your experience and you'll never go back to the regular stuff. I had a few custom orders for croissant and muffins and they were EPIC! Get a salted caramel iced latte and chocolate supreme you'll be back the next day lol"
"Excellent donuts my favorite is the one with the coconut Great service and fast .Definitely coming back when I'm in the area ."
"First-time customer. IF I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered 6 cookies delivery. This place is extremely expensive to be handing out cookies like the ones I received. 6 cookies came to roughly $36 with delivery fees. I knew something was wrong when the box felt like it weighed 10lbs, but I remained optimistic because I did see where the cookies were on the thicker side of things. The cookies we ordered are pictured in the attachments and I will spare you the play by play on each. The cookies were not only so messy in the box, but not that tasty. I could truly go on and on about my dislike for each cookie and why. I would simply say, don't try them. I only purchased the expensive cookies because my niece wanted to the Tik Tok "review trend" and we did it, but the cookies were nasty and it wouldn't trust the ppl saying they're good -- I now think they're all paid actors. Flavors: Chocolate Chip (has peanut butter in it -- just OK)Pink Sugar (nasty and sweet)Café De Leche (or something... nasty)S'mores (that one was OK) Sugar cookie with chocolate frosting (too much frosting)6th cookie - nasty!"
"We were in the area between breakfast and lunch so we decided to pop into the bakery side for a breakfast sandwich. The Cali Bakery is just to the left of Cali Viejo. We walked into an empty place but we were sort of greeted when walking in. I took it upon myself to go find a menu and then was asked if I would like to order to-go or sit down. We chose to sit down as I was with my kids. The kids ordered orange juice and I ordered water. After some time, the kids were brought fresh OJ that was delicious. I was brought a bottle of water. I ordered the cheese egg and sausage Cuban for the kids to share and I ordered bacon egg and cheese croissant. That also took a good amount of time. There were a couple more people that came in after we ordered and they were still sitting there waiting after we were done eating. My croissant was a little burned on the bottom but otherwise as was expected, and they kids enjoyed their sandwich. Nothing special for the price aside from fresh orange juice $3 each. We probably won't come back here but it was an ok breakfast."
"Very homey bakery. Food was fantastic. I had an egg ham and cheese sandwich and the wife had a steak sandwich. We also had the chicken and cheese ball. Bread was fresh !"
"I got chicken spring rolls and iced coffee with boba. Very yummy, but the coffee is a bit sweeter than I like, although the girl at the counter already let me know that the coffee was made sweetened. She was very helpful being it was my first time here. Everything inside was pretty modern and clean. Nice little place."
"So, so delicious! We went out of our way to get some yummy pan sobao, and this lovely bakery did not disappoint. Delicious, soft, flavorful breads galore, and the beef empanadas....wow! So good! Flavors are authentic, taking me back to my childhood on la Isla. Prices are super reasonable too, and the service is friendly, quick, and caring. If you are visiting Tampa, it is well worth thr Uber ride out here to enjoy this lovely place. And if you're local and can come here every day? I'm jealous! :)"
"Cookies! Fresh baked cookies! Warm, soft, freshly baked cookies ready to go. This place smells sooo wonderful when you walk in. It's located in the shopping center next to Costco, with Starbucks, Mellow Mushroom, T-Mobile and various other shops. I was originally headed to grab a sandwich a few doors down when I noticed how close I was to Crumbl Cookies and decided to pay a visit. There were about a dozen customers standing around when I walked inside the tiny service area but I asked if any were in line; they were all waiting for their orders. I wound my way around them to the counter and stood for a few minutes before one of the busy employees filling orders turned around and acknowledged me. I ordered two single cookies: one classic pink sugar and one milk chocolate chip. By the I finished swiping my card and entering my payment details, my cookies were boxed up and handed to me. They are pretty pricey per cookie, but worth it. They are absolutely delicious. Great place to stop for late night munchies since they are open until 10 pm weekdays."
"Food is top notch. Service is great. Cool vibe with nice artwork and ample seating. What's not to love? Fresh baked breads and stuff are epic. The Reuben has a fried egg on it with groovy marbled rye bread. Yum."
"They have a large selection of home made dessert and pastries. It's a small place but they do have some seating outside and it is right on the pinellas trail for easy access or stopping on your walk/ride. Lady at the counter both mornings was more then pleasant. Ordered a bagel with almond butter and bananas the first day and enjoyed it enough to come back again. Coffee is decent. They use an industrial machine which grinds the beans before brewing. Looks just like the style you can find in a Sheetz gas station. Therefore it is not a standard espresso machine but still does a decent job."
"Incredibly yummy - the baked goods are served to you warm at a good price and there is plenty of seating with AC. Each item was so flavorful and some are so buttery and flaky we had to get seconds. We also got acai smoothies served in the more traditional Brazilian style that were creamy and refreshing. The lady at the counter was polite and happy to take our orders."
"I shopped at Ace at Forest Lake Plaza and found this nice family-owned bakery and cafe hidden in the corner of the plaza. My first impression was how clean the restaurant was. We got seated quickly. Waiter gave us enough time looking through menu and took our orders promptly. It took approximately 15 minutes to get our food which was just right for casual conversation. I noticed the food was neatly presented. There was no grease on the white plate. I guess the chef prefers using healthy ingredients which also explained why my Western omelet was just a tiny bit short of flavor. I guess it was too healthy. My friend got Chicken Parmesan. I tasted the chicken and it was flavourful but a bit on the dry side. Sauce was decent. Overall, it is a nice cafe to visit. Food is solid, and price is right. I would like to try other dishes especially their pastries."
"Ohhhh Momma! My reaction when this plate came out. My only complaint was I got the bottom of the pot rice, which is never my favorite.Aside from that, everything was delicious when I started digging. What else can I say other than I had plenty to take home for a second meal!We also ordered the taqueños to start which were fresh, hot, and fantastic. The two sauces used for the arepas perfectly complemented the taqueños.Only knock preventing the five stars was the rice. Great job all around!"
"Still the best Asian bakery store! Just letting you know that they moved! They are INSIDE of the MD market in Tampa. Address: 1106 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, FL 33612"
"This is a hidden gem of a bakery that you won't want to miss. It is a small bakery but packs a punch with amazing fresh and flavorful food."
"Inside the green warehouse style building on the southbound side of Alt-19 is a little spot of heaven! The best key lime pie outside of key west! They have other flavors as well, as well as cookies and cakes. Not a huge selection of flavors, but, definitely quality over quantity! Now, I've lived in this area for 26 years and it is hard to beat Publix Bakery, but, for Key Lime pie, this place is so worth the drive!"
"This is a review for Sunday afternoon, tea. I unfortunately have no pictures because I was amazed by all of the delicious things that were presented to me.. starting with a pot of tea, of course pumpkin, chai tea, then the standard mozzarella and tomato Caprese salad. Now I've been to tea all throughout the United States and Canada, and this is by far my favorite. When you have high tea curated by a pastry, chef, you're in for an over-the-top delight. Her cross on her quiche is full of visible layers of amazing. Another unique addition is the savory macaroons. I can't even tell you and describe how amazing and delicious this amazing amazing high tea is. Five stars service five star location, five star all the way"
"The food here is scratch made and utterly delicious! The proprietor is friendly and engaging, cooks everything himself and has daily specials. The white bean and ham soup was thickl and tasty, chunks of goodness within! The sourdough grilled cheese (June Cleaver) was crunchy and gooey and tasted great! The desserts, the desserts, the desserts were amazing! Cheesecake was the perfect texture and creaminess... the cookies were large & tasty and chewy and the pineapple upside down cakes...oh.my.goodness!Go here, eat here... rinse - lather - repeatt!"
"This cafe is a true gem!! Fresh, deliciously crafted pastries, sandwiches, crepes, and coffees. The staff were also lovely and welcoming. They were busy, but had lots of seating inside and out. There's free WiFi & water. The bathrooms were clean. We came multiple times while staying nearby & wish it were closer to us! Favorites: the Jerome sandwich (AMAZING). I tried it on both the contra one day and the croissant the next. Other special mentions: the corns on blue, the breakfast sandwich, and the cortados! Delicious coffee."
"I loved it!! I was super impressed with the Pain Suisse au Chocolat. It was fresh & light, and unmistakably French. You know if you know. Honestly, I wanted to take home everything in the pastry case. It was also a good quality double espresso that went so well with that chocolate and pastry cream filling. I think I'd be their every day if I lived nearby. I'm kind of happy that it's not too close. What also stood out to me was the café décor, and the amazing service. There is limited seating indoors, but I can totally see myself using the café seating outdoors when it's cooler. The pastries were also affordable for the quality. If you go early, then you may snag a bag of day old pastries for $10. I'm kicking myself for not getting one, but I just didn't want them to sit in the car all day. However, I will make a special trip to get a bag next time. I especially want to try the cheese croissant and one of the Emile Vergeois juices. They have so many yummy flavors. The William's Pear and Madagascar Lychee flavors were calling my name. I can't wait to go back!"
"Really enjoyed my first visit to Cupcake Heaven! The bakers are so friendly and do an incredible job at making fresh, tasty cupcakes. I love to bake as well, so appreciate the effort they put into each of these cupcakes. Lots of great flavors & cute seasonal ones as well! It's hard to pick a favorite but I really love the blueberry cupcake. It was packed with blueberries & topped with such a tasty vanilla icing! Highly recommend!"
"Talk about the perfect hurricane snack! I "evacuated" my apartment and stayed with some friends in Riverview, who are biiiig fans of Gretchen's Goodies. We ordered for delivery and it took me soooo long to even decide on one because there are SO many options! The ONLY reason I knocked one star off is because the delivery was partially wrong. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie mousse and my friends ordered chocolate oreo and carrot cake, but we received 2 chocolate oreos and one carrot cake. I ended up trying the oreo and eating most of the carrot cake, both of which were PHENOMENAL! I was bummed I didn't get what I ordered, but both of what I tried were literally insane so I wasn't too upset.I wish I could try all of them! They're a pretty solid portion for a $7 dessert, basically a layered cake/pie in a cup. VERY sweet and dense, but an incredible treat!!"
