"We have lived in LA and Denver- and have enjoyed great Mexican food. The tamales at 5 de Mayo are the best we've EVER eaten. This little bakery is a a real find. The pineapple tres leches cake is amazing. Great people- the best food. Love. Love. Love."
"I loved it!! I was super impressed with the Pain Suisse au Chocolat. It was fresh & light, and unmistakably French. You know if you know. Honestly, I wanted to take home everything in the pastry case. It was also a good quality double espresso that went so well with that chocolate and pastry cream filling. I think I'd be their every day if I lived nearby. I'm kind of happy that it's not too close. What also stood out to me was the café décor, and the amazing service. There is limited seating indoors, but I can totally see myself using the café seating outdoors when it's cooler. The pastries were also affordable for the quality. If you go early, then you may snag a bag of day old pastries for $10. I'm kicking myself for not getting one, but I just didn't want them to sit in the car all day. However, I will make a special trip to get a bag next time. I especially want to try the cheese croissant and one of the Emile Vergeois juices. They have so many yummy flavors. The William's Pear and Madagascar Lychee flavors were calling my name. I can't wait to go back!"

"We decided to take an exit to the little sponge greek town in Florida. They are famous for their sponges but we went early and stores were closed. We found a bakery shop open & a wonderful lady there who was very generous to us! We bought greek coffee cans and supplies for gifts and then hit the bakery side. Everything is freshly made. She is very proud of her goodies. She sent us on our way with fresh breads and cookies and items we purchased. I would def find this small bakery if you come to this beautiful ocean side town. Very special to us. She treated us with kindness and explained everything to us. A win-win. So glad we stopped here!"
"Welcome Cao Bakery from Miami! So glad you are here! I had to check this out, and let you know we were very happy. It was packed on a Saturday and this place use to be a Latin chicken shop, so we had been to this location before. We ordered a guava and cheese tequeno which was my fave, two chicken croquetas, received a free pastelito from signing up for coupons and picked coconut. Also a media dia sandwich and cafe con leche.Very happy with everything. It did take a long time but I can tell that the place was popular. The location is nice and spacious and has the same decor as the previous place which is also comfortable and clean.Definitely check it out for your fave Cuban snacks."
"I always go here when I am in Tarpon Springs to get any treats I am in the mood for. Works out that Ben and I like the same things so we can share. Today he was on a mission for some baklava but of course when we got there, a ton of other options pulled us in. We asked the employee behind the counter what a few different things were and man she was such a good saleswoman, she kept talking us into more and more. It was pretty funny because it wasn't like she had to twist our arms or anything. We took the goodies to go but as soon as we got to the car we popped open that box and dug in. I wouldn't advise trying to drive and eat pretty much anything from here. From the toppings to the extra simple syrup dripping down, it is a messy treat. We each ate one item and took the rest home whuch held just fine for 2 days until we finished everything."
"Pros:The cookies are very big in terms of height. They are very soft which I love. They have a rich but not artificial taste which is somewhat rare for a business and not a random person baking them at home. The cookie flavors are changing weekly so there is always new product to try. The customer service was great. The young lady explained their mission and their procedure well.Cute packaging that makes it good to give as a small gift or sign of your appreciation.Cons:This location is very small and has no dine in capacity. Closed Sundays. Apparently this is due to the founders Mormon background. Each cookie is $4.50 though you save a little by buying greater quantities.Misc: I could only eat one in one sitting despite being a big guy. Pace yourself lolA great cookie shop!"
"Had some amazing guava pastries and great iced coffee and hot latte. Great selection of desserts and pastries. Excellent teal puerto rican atmosphere."
"My cuban co workers vow for this place and i completely understand why.Everything was great. The pastelitos with a delicious flaky crust, good flavor and generous filling. I had the medianoche, pastelitos de pollo, cream cheese and guava, guava, cream cheese and cheddar and they were all great.Definitely recommended."
"So good. Loved everything we had here. The arepas were bomb. So we're all the pastries. Can't wait to go back!"
"Loved all aspects Dimitri was great Food was delicious Ambiance was rustic Menu was pretty authentic Had a great time"
"Some good deals on mass market sliced bread, bagels and brand name tortillas. I like the indie more authentic bread that isn't full of preservatives, but if you want some Freshley's snake cakes and supermarket wheat or white bread this is a good spot. I got a bunch and it was like $5.74. Hello Carbs!!! I almost said crabs.. that's another place.. Several actually. HUDSON!!!"
"Came today and did not know what to expect as far as how long I had to wait..only 5 people ahead of me, was in and out in less than 5 minutes cute little place and love you can see the preparing your Cookies..ordered 3 different Cookies and was served fast and efficiently...very rich flavor and delicious cookies.. got Carrot Cake and Double Chocolate and Chocolate Chip which I gifted to a client...Gourmet Cookies, not your normal store bought Cookie..they are very rich and can be shared..worth what you pay for them.."

I am as far beyond baked goods as they are beyond you. I am eternal!I believe that is what Apocalypse would say if he owned this place. Editor: The owner's name is Xavier apparently? That is a good omen on the X-men's 60th anniversary. This is a French Bakery that is the Krates at Wesley Chapel. I briefly skimmed the area since it was late and I wanted a snack before driving home.I had seen Karen V's review and was intrigued. It is a very small interior with only seating 3-4 people. They serve various coffee drinks, pastries, and some other dessert items. There are a few covered tables outside the main entrance for customers to sit.I ordered the pain suisse au chocolat. It is a rectangular flaky pastry roughly 4 x 2 inches. It is filled with chocolate chips and a type of custard cream.I took it to go and microwaved it for 30 seconds when I got home.It was very flaky and tasty and very rich. It is MUCH better than anything from Publix and Walmart. The woman behind the counter, who seemed to be French, mentioned that the dough is imported from France. Cool.9/10They also have some French imported juices and items, but I was too much of a hurry to get anything else. If you like pastries , go there tout suite!

An adjunct to Mykonos restaurant a block away, Fournos offers a wide variety of goodies for dessert and/or take home. We got numerous goodies to last a few days, and they were all excellent. The texture of the shredded dough type baklava didn't hold up after a day, as well as the regular baklava did. Our turnovers (blueberry!) were exquisite, even two days later, the the bottom of the pastry was moist. Pleasantly satisfying finish to our Tarpon Springs visit.

I have a love hate relationship with Crumbl! They're the best and I love to eat them, but my clothes always seem a bit smaller afterwards. In all seriousness, I'm SO glad they're in our neighborhood now! They're simply the best cookies.

This bakery is absolutely spotless, typically busy and always friendly. They seem to specialize in cakes but I'm here to tell you the guava, cheese, and guava plus cheese pastries are absolutely delicious. Flaky, fresh, tasty and embarrassingly inexpensive. Guava pastries are only a dollar and guava plus cheese are a dollar and five cents. I kid you not. Last Sunday, I bought four. Big spender here!Their coffee is also excellent. The colada always has a nice crema and I order it sweet because we love Cuban coffee that way. If there is a line, head around to the right and wait for someone to yell "next!" Everyone has been very gracious. Nobody has tried to cut in line and folks let you go when it's your turn. My Spanish is not strong but I always try my best. They are very patient with me. Finally, they take credit cards. No problema! We love coming here. One colada for two people will brighten and accelerate your day and possibly evening depending on when you drink it. Be warned. Life is good with local Cuban pastries and sweet Cuban coffee!

"A welcome treasure in Clearwater for Puerto Rican food. We went for lunch and had the avocado salad which was so flavorful and refreshing w a great dressing. The shrimp mofongo would've made Bad Bunny jump! it was by far the best i've ever had.The pernil was super well seasoned and w the white rice andbeans paired very well. Even the coffee was excellent. I had a colado to go. Don't miss this spot they also have bakery items which i'll have to try next time. The interior is super cute andnot sketchy at all my bride says."
"La comida de mala calidad, la ensalada estaba dañada, no lo recomiendo."
"We stopped in after a grueling 12 hour drive from Virginia to Florida and were greeted with kindness and enthusiasm! It was the perfect welcome to Florida! The owner's daughter, Victoria, was amazing and translated the menu for us and explained what different dishes are and how they were made. Everything we ordered was fabulous!!!! We ordered several pastries to go as well. Please visit this amazing restaurant, you will not regret it!"
"This bakery came highly recommended when it came time for my son's first birthday, and I'm very pleased with our experience. The process to explain what I wanted on his cake was easy, and it turned out so beautifully. Also, the cake itself was delicious- which is obviously important! We had a Hawaiian cake with pineapple filling (to kind of go with the Moana theme) and it weirdly reminded me of carrot cake, but with pineapple instead. That might sound strange, but I swear it was decadent and delicious! We will absolutely use Goldies again for any occasion where we want a fun cake"
"Great bakery, many fresh baked goods. I went in for the Original Cubano sandwich, but was disappointed with bread to meat ratio. Very busy business, well staffed. Clean facilities. I guess I need to learn Spanish so I can get more information. Will go back for baked goods."
"Ohhhh Momma! My reaction when this plate came out. My only complaint was I got the bottom of the pot rice, which is never my favorite.Aside from that, everything was delicious when I started digging. What else can I say other than I had plenty to take home for a second meal!We also ordered the taqueños to start which were fresh, hot, and fantastic. The two sauces used for the arepas perfectly complemented the taqueños.Only knock preventing the five stars was the rice. Great job all around!"
"First-time customer. IF I could give them zero stars I would. I ordered 6 cookies delivery. This place is extremely expensive to be handing out cookies like the ones I received. 6 cookies came to roughly $36 with delivery fees. I knew something was wrong when the box felt like it weighed 10lbs, but I remained optimistic because I did see where the cookies were on the thicker side of things. The cookies we ordered are pictured in the attachments and I will spare you the play by play on each. The cookies were not only so messy in the box, but not that tasty. I could truly go on and on about my dislike for each cookie and why. I would simply say, don't try them. I only purchased the expensive cookies because my niece wanted to the Tik Tok "review trend" and we did it, but the cookies were nasty and it wouldn't trust the ppl saying they're good -- I now think they're all paid actors. Flavors: Chocolate Chip (has peanut butter in it -- just OK)Pink Sugar (nasty and sweet)Café De Leche (or something... nasty)S'mores (that one was OK) Sugar cookie with chocolate frosting (too much frosting)6th cookie - nasty!"
"Found this little gem via Yelp - Love the variety of Puerto Rican pastries and the hot food bar. The mofongo (smashed plantain) and trifongo (mashed yucca, green & ripe plantain) were divine. We ordered a la carte and came with some tasty broth on the side. Very generous portion that can definitely feed 2 people. We also had their stew chicken, boiled yucca, chicken soup. All super tasty. I am so sad it is so far from my home. The staff was very friendly. The time we went (around 5pm) was really slow, and they took the time to answer all my questions. If it gets busy I am sure there will be a little wait, but worth it."
"Loved Elevenses! So much passion and detail is put in to all of the wonderful desserts and drinks served here.Been loving on Elevenses on IG for some time, & when I visited, I was not disappointed at all. This is the type of vibe I love inside and it kept reminding us of some of our fave places visited. From the outside building to the inside decor. The girls working were super friendly and welcoming and we talked to them for some time while sitting on the comfy couch. Our favorite was the Thai tea cake which I swear is not something you can find just anywhere. We also had a couple macarons and a wonderful soft cookie(to go), & a peach cloud latte.Their menu changes every week, &I look forward to checking it out each week. I also love how they have themes at times and these times the place gets so crowded with lines outside. I haven't had that experience yet.Look forward to visiting again and trying all of what she has to offer. Such a great variety for desserts, flavors, drinks that you just can't find anywhere! Definitely a must stop and just know to check for her posted menu on the website, and also that they are open Wednesdays to Saturdays.I have also noticed that she does attend the Ybor Indie Flea which is the 2nd Sundays November through April at the 1920 Ybor City Location. But def check out their actual shop first!"
"First time here. This drink. At is located in the strip plaza directly in back of Bayonett Point hospital. Clean store. Friendly people. I had the peanut butter cup smoothie and an energy drink. Will be back again."
"Nice assortment of pastries, empanadas, bread, sandwiches and drinks. The ham and cheese empanada was a solid breakfast choice. The guava pastries tasted great, even after flying back to Indiana a day later. I also brought a Cuban loaf home and it made the best sandwiches. The employee was friendly and helpful. They were busy in the morning, but the line moved quickly and I didn't feel rushed."
"Was looking for a king cake for Mardi Gras. Didn't want the usual Publix offerings because it's boring AF. FB suggested Fridas. I've never been here before. I drove over and bought a king cake for $20 something dollars which I thought was a bit expensive, but I'll try anything once. This was by far, the best king cake I've ever had. We have hosted Mardi Gras parties for 15 years. I will 100% always get my kings cakes from here. I'd also like to go back just for lunch because it's a really nice place inside. Service."
"Been trying to go to Mandola's Italian kitchen for a year since they've opened. Today I was with a business partner and we stopped in for lunch. He got the eggplant sandwich and I got the sausage and peppers on the ciabatta and they were both really good sandwiches. I also had the minestrone soup and that was also good. Got a lemon ricotta cookie to go and haven't tried it yet, but they have a cute gelato and mini bakery at the front. Going to come back here for a real dinner one night because all the dinner entrées look good."
"OMGoodness- my daughter had been bragging about this food truck at the entrance to her neighborhood and I got to try them this past weekend!!! And woohoo~ and nice little stroll in the full on Florida sun, we arrived and assessed the menu board. Pro TIP- they have off menu breakfast sandwiches (sometimes) so ask!!! I ordered a coconut-vanilla latte, my daughter went with some crazy frapp thing (she wanted cold and I should have joined her) that was mocha and coffee. They make the Brazilian cheese bread from scratch, along with other pastries and they are the size of a huge muffin!!! Connor got one of those, Crystin got a cheese danish which she said was ridiculously heavy and I got the off menu bacon-egg-cheese (fresh baked) croissant sandwich. I didn't dare sip my coffee until I was back in air conditioning- it was perfection in a cup. My daughter's frapp thing tasted wonderful too (next time- I'm getting that), I even tried a bite of her danish and it was buttery goodness with wonderful cheese filling. My croissant- holy out-of-this-world good! The bacon was super thick and tasty (I do wish it was more crispy), eggs and cheese on that fresh croissant filled me up quick! The smell was torture on the way back to the house! The Food truck is family owned and operated and just a wonderful bunch! IF you live in Mirada- hunt them down!!! They are worth it. We saw many people park on either side to order and drive home- so you know they are getting the word of mouth! They are only open on Saturday and Sunday- google claims they are open both days in the morning, but my daughter said they are open Saturday mornings and a little later on Sunday and have delicious empanadas made from scratch. YUM!!!"
"Great coffee place to visit and unwind. Love the aesthetic of the interior and the staff was super friendly helping me with the all the options they had. This place is getting popular so on the weekends they've told me that it can get busy so even though they share a parking lot it can get full. Ordered a passion fruit tea which was not too sweet or tart and my friend ordered a Expresso tonic. If I lived closer I would definitely come by more. If you are in the area check them out!"
"I've been dying to come to The Market since the expansion and finally made it around to coming. It is so wonderful and the menu is much larger than I anticipated. I am both equally floored at the quality and quantity. I went with my sister who is gluten free due to an allergy and she enjoyed a massive macaron and a cappucino. I, on the other hand am gluten friendly and enjoyed a chocolate ganache tart as well as an affogato with pistachio gelato. All were delicious but the one notable mention for me was the affogato. Oh my, was it tasty! There are three 'sections' to this space. Facing the store front, from left to right, you have the coffee/pastry area, gelato section with additional seating and products and then last but certainly not least, the market filled with grab n go options as well as grocery items. I highly recommend grabbing a friend and coming here or simply just brining yourself. It is all things cozy, welcoming and wonderful. I plan to bring my laptop and knock out some work here in the future."
"They are good. I've had better service in the Clearwater store that is on Gulf to Bay"
"This was a sweet find. We were making our way south on Rt. 75 in Florida when we decided to stop & explore a bit. We found the Salty Sweet Deli & Bakery. Everything is fresh & made in house: cakes, pastries, muffins & more. I had delicious home made lentil soup & a really fresh greek salad. My husband had a Ruben on marble rye. It is unpretentious & clean, with friendly service located in Chuck's Natural Field Health Food Store. If you are fond of traditional deli's you may want to try this mom & pop tiny spot. Easy off & on Rt. 75."
"The ambience is beautiful in the museum of fine art, but holy moley, the price you pay for what you get is just not justifiable. The sandwiches are tiny, premade and reheated when you order. The truffle aioli on the egg sandwich is grey and extremely visually unappealing. The pastry we had was good, not great. My cold brew coffee was okay, a small serving. $60 for two tiny egg sandwiches, a pastry, a cold brew (6 oz maybe) and a drip coffee was just too much. Sadly we won't be returning."
"I love Betty's Cookies, because they are the best! Delicious, unique taste, great quality. Presentation and Art is an A+. Outstanding service and very competitive prices."
"An adorable little bakery. you're greeted with a delicious sent the minute you step inside. Lots of delicious options. We got the fresh cinnamon roll. it was decadent!"
"Party of six for Sunday breakfast. A little overpriced for the product. Two egg omelet $13 was ordered with cheese and spinach. No spinach. She ate it with no return. Biscuits and gravy was well received as was the French toast. Two eggs sunny side looked small on the plates they use. Arriving late my wife had a small fruit cup, i had a blueberry muffin with real blueberries but served cold Adding two coffees came to $14.31....Someday we will try them again but not soon...."
"Really nice size bakery with lots of welcoming seating, and what seemed like a good variety of pastries. Sadly, by 3pm on a Saturday, lots of the display cases were already empty. I came in here to order a cheese pastry (quesito) for my husband, and luckily, there was 1 left. And while there, I saw what was labeled as a passion fruit mousse, so naturally, I had to order to try. My expectations of a mousse dessert is a soft, light and silky texture, and here is where this bakery missed the mark completely. You can see in the pictures, the texture was far from silky - in fact - it was more like a sour curd. I was so disappointed as I was already home and so looked forward to it. I wonder if I simply got a bad one, or if it was old and had been sitting there to curd. There are so many great bakeries in town, that I am not sure this visit earned a return. My advice on any mousse's here, is to check before leaving the store. I wish I had."
