Undoubtably the best BarBQue in the area when they are open. Weather, and other secret factors decide if that beautiful smoke is rolling or not.Regardless, when we are in the mood for Q, we drive by here first. I highly recommend C&J for great food and friendly service.

I'm not picky when it comes to BBQ. I've actually never had BBQ I disliked until I ate here. I hate writing bad reviews but also don't want people to waste their money at this place. I ordered the full rack of ribs. The meat was the driest and hardest of any ribs I've ever had. It was like old, overcooked meat. It also didn't taste very good. The sauce was SOUR, not tangy, but disgustingly sour, it tasted almost like throw up. Disgustingly bad tasting sauce. I hate to criticize this business but I just want to help others avoid wasting their money here.

I had the 1/2 pound of brisket on Monday (12/18) & it was so good that I did not feel guilty about not sharing with my dog. There was no fat but the meat was so tender & juicy! From the first bite I wished I had gotten the full pound. I thought about it all day/night Tuesday & all day today. I drove by after work & was very sad that they're closed. The operating days/hours on the old paper menus in the window, Yelp, & Google have not been updated. Fb says new hours start Jan 1. Thu-Sun open at 1 & close at 7:45, 8:45, 8:45, & 5:45.

Tried to stop by and it was closed on a Wednesday @5pm Maybe next time..............So I had to go inland to Sonny's

Was in the mood for some bbq, read some reviews and decided c & j; So I ordered the rib and sausage combo and some brisket, 1/2 lb (the counter lady said chopped beef) and it came to $32 and change, then she ask sauce on the side or sauce on. and I (mistakenly) said sauce on (big mistake); Get my bag of food and go home; Get home and unpacked the food and open up the top plate and there were 3 slices of bread ;-) underneath was the chopped beef (brisket) doused in a tangy sauce :-( I mean are you mad at me??? Way too much sauce and the beef was dry and stringy like they had leftover brisket from a day or 2 ago chopped it up and doused with bbq sauce (the bbq restaurant cover up, they can't tell this isn't fresh smh) and the 2nd plate was worse, the sausage and ribs were literally in a pool of sauce :-( the ribs definitely weren't fresh at all (tough hard stringy) not good at all (like before 1 or 2 days old) like were reheated over and over and got dryed out. but the sausage was alright (after I let all the sauce drip off) I won't be going back.

The food was absolutely delicious. We got 1/2 chicken, pulled pork, and 3 sausages. We got macncheese, collards, and Coleslaw. They gave us more than 1/2 loaf of white bread. I added the baked beans and dill pickles. So good!! Please note, they are cash only

They put out excellent BBQ here. Their meats have a nice smoke flavor and still remain juicy.They offer sauce-on or on the side for all of their meats.Their sides are large enough for 2 to share and still have some leftover.Take-out only, they take cash and also cash app.Unfortunately, I have to minus one star as the bun for my pulled pork sandwich was crumbly and almost stale, plus the young man that took my order could not manage to say "hello," "thank you," or even a "goodbye."I look forward to trying them again.

Hands down, the best bbq chicken and ribs I've had in at least four decades. The meats were perfectly cooked, and the sauce proved to be addictive.The potato salad is absolutely on point. The entire joint is on point.

Extremely great food and staff is very friendly and efficient highly recommend I highly recommend
