For the prices we are being charged for everything n food being one of those at the top, it's jus very frustrating when u pay for the food n then the delivery on top of it I want what I paid for not a whole slab of ribs, yes a whole slab, that were so overdone, dry, n looked like they'd been cooked rite down n the ashes, n I dnt know if there was meat in them b4 they fell n the hot ashes, but there certainly wasn't when I opened the box up. I was so upset, I jus shut the lid, put them back n the bag, n threw the whole $120.00 worth n the garbage can. So I guess I'll halfta go to Dadecity, to get my BBQ, from now on it certainly won't b from this place anymore

I was starving and hankering for some bbq and someone had recommended BubbaQue's, so we swung on by. We lucked out and arrived right before the rush. Just 30 minutes later and this tiny place was packed! It's popular!My husband ordered the Bubba Nuggets (corn nuggets) as an appetizer. Eh. Very crusty, not very corny if you know what I mean. Will skip those next time. I ordered the two meat combo, pulled pork and 1/2 bbq chicken with fried okra and macaroni and cheese. Pulled pork and chicken were both delicious: tender, moist and very flavorful on their own. The fried okra was very good and the Mac was good/average (very creamy but I prefer baked Mac). Definitely enough meat for two meals. I brought 1/2 home. He ordered the Meaty Back Ribs and fried okra. (He only ordered these because they were out of St. Louis style ribs.) I was a bit turned off when they arrived, all dark and crusty looking. Then he gave me a rib...O. M. Goodness. *grabs smelling salts* If I had known these were this good, I would have ordered them as well. That crust was not crusty at all. It was savory and delicious and just covering the most tender, juicy rib meat ever. Literally falling off the bone. So good. I'm going back for those ribs. You need to try those if you haven't. Or don't. Try something else and leave the ribs for me. As for the sauces? Eh. Tried the Rump Roaster (hot), Tractor Grease (mild), and Ole Yeller (mustard). All too sweet for my taste. (Remember they shot Old Yeller because he was rabid? Shudders.) Good for BubbaQue's though, all their meat is so delicious, it doesn't need anything else.

Went when they first opened. At first no one greeted me and I looked at the menu for a bit because it was my first time. The young lady at the register let me know what the specials were and recommended the fried corn. It came rather quickly. I didn't wait long. The ribs are good. The poppers were amazing and the corn great.

We absolutely think this is the best bbq in Lakeland, Fl. Their ribs are the best! I wish they had salad options but that don't stop me from eating at this great place.

We were waiting at Fords Garage. We waited 30 minutes at about 3pm, it was hot outside and others were going in and being seated. So we called here, best move we made all day!!!! We walked in ordered our food. Two half chickens, I had barbecue beans, and tater salad, with my half chicken. Also some grilled bread. We also had bread, mac and cheese, and collards, with the other half of chicken. The chicken was super moist, tender, flavorful, I ate half my portion of chicken with no sauce, and had the sweet barbecue sauce. It was so very good. We enjoyed the service the server was also the one who was the cashier, she did a phenomenal job. It was a most pleasant visit. Thank you BubbaQues for saving lunch/ dinner!!! I have been to the one in Brandon about 4 times, and the one one US92 a long time ago. Well I think from now on when I want Barbecue it's going to be BubbaQue's. I don't know the name of our server/cashier but thank you so very much for a very amazing visit!!!!

this place is the terrible. Not only this location in Lakeland northside but the one near Cumby is worse because of the staff the food is gross dried out over cooked garbage that they decide to throw on a plate and charge you $40 for two people rude rude rude the establishment on Combee. The one in Lakeland just doesn't like to give you any meat for your dollar

Came for dinner and the cashier (thank you was nice and sweet but beside that only thing fresh is the fountain drink and French fries. The ribs , shrimp ,and chicken looked stale and taste dried. Outside smelled like a Smokey bowling ally . I don't recommend the bbq here..... it's more like microwave bbq .

Placed a order online, picked up the food from location in north Lakeland. Got home and opened the box and it was dry, old ass ribs that were cooked days before. So bad that I could not eat them. Dry, chewy and way overcooked. Called the store and manager tried to pretend that the ribs were smoked fresh that morning. Treated me as though I'm to stupid to know what old ass bbq looks like. When I didn't accept her response she said to call the owner the next morning. No need to call, this is a business that is on its last legs and barely hanging on. Management is sick and tired of dealing with the issues. Owner is sick and tired of losing his shirt. staff cooks way to much food and when it does not sell they have to reuse it the next day cause ownership is bitching about food cost and overhead.Sent two emails and got no response. Damn sure won't go back and I bet they close within the next few months.
