I've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time, and I finally got the chance.The decor of the restaurant is really cool as it has an cool theme. The counter and overhang look like a barbecue shanty inside the building. I ordered my food to go. It was around 8 o'clock at night and it was still steady business wise.There's only one negative thing I can say about the entire experience, they're short on employees. The poor young woman at the ordering counter was alone and had to wait on tables and take care of customers in the dining room, then run to the register to take orders, while delivering peoples drinks and food because much of the clientele gets food to go like me. You could tell she was frustrated, but she didn't push her frustration down on the customers. She was still very cordial.The food was very good! I elected to get the brisket basket with fries and I got an extra order of coleslaw. The brisket portion was a tad small for the cost in my opinion, but the quality and flavor beef made up for it and it was a very enjoyable meal! Probably one of the best I've had in a while to be honest.So if you find yourself in the quaint little town of Dade City, I would highly recommend stopping in and give it a try, it may have been an off night for the employee so I won't knock them for having an employee shortage. I'll find out along the way as I do intend to eat there again, being I don't live far from the restaurant.Good Job BubbaQue's!!!

The sliced Brisket was mostly all Fatty not what I expected from here sorry but Sonny's has better brisket the server's were great just not the Brisket

I'll be honest, the only reason we discovered this place is the advertising on the road looked good. So we decided to give it a try. Yelp reviews weren't bad. Ordered 3 plates: Sausage, Brisket, Pulled Pork. The only one that got more than 2 bites take out of it was the Sausage, it had a nice snap to it and had some good flavor. The brisket was cooked ok, but had zero flavor to it. The pulled pork got a single bite out of it before it went into the trash. The sides: Fries, Sweet Potato Waffle Fries, and Fried Okra. Meh. The service was nice and the joint was clean on the inside, but definitely cannot recommend this place as a spot to eat. And probably won't go back. There is a ton around here that is more worth the stop.

Ordered from grubhub once it was so delicious that we had to stop in the store for our first time, well what a mistake. Ordered food and water and wasn't sure how to get drinks but we saw the machine. We reached for a cup and an employee sitting in a chair said you can't do that you need to go sit down and wait. Didn't offer to help or anything just was snotty towards us The food was not what we got from grubhub. We were surprised to order the same thing but got something completely different. Food wasn't terrible but nearly as good as the order from grubhub.

Great establishmen. Cistomer service was awesome! though it appeared that one young lady was running the entire establishment effortlessly she was taken care of and greeting customers at the door and bringing orders out. Food was amazing, the flavor of the wings, chicken and the baked beans just delicious. Will definitely go again.

Venturing into the Uncharted, a departure from my usual dining choices, intrigued yet cautiously apprehensive.Jalapeno poppers impressed with a fiery punch and a mischievous filling.Funnel cake fries brought a whimsical touch, reminiscent of state fair nostalgia.The Texas brisket basket, though lacking elegance, offered a taste of rustic comfort with tender, smoky brisket and tangy barbecue sauce.My experience with the service staff was extraordinary and offensive. I realize that this was uncharacteristic for the staff but a screaming match between two waiters broke out right in front of my table. I asked for the manager and an offhanded remark directed at me. That doesn't tip the scale enough to justify two stars considering others my be influenced by this. I don't expect that this will happen again because they terminated the instigator that had the entire staff on edge BubbaQue's provides a casual dining experience with modest yet respectable offerings, appealing to those seeking down-home charm.
