Stoped for lunch. Very very authentic. We ordered the drunken shrimp and the special of the day. haddock, fries and coleslaw. At 2:20 the tables were 1/2 full. The bar with locals was 90% The shrimp was so good and the sauce I could drink. It was wonderful. But the fish (haddock) and fries were even better. The was a wonderful lunch for two hungry travelers.Susan was wonderful. I would let her order form me the next time I come. She was really great

We had a reservation for 6 PM for eight people. When we arrived at the table was ready. That was nice. The server came to the table pretty quickly. That was also nice. The menus were already on the table. The restaurant was busy, but it was not full. We ordered drinks which came out two at a time. That's where the good part ended. We put in two appetizers, a pork nachos and a PB&J Brussels. Not a fan of the brussels. Sauce everywhere. Dumping peanut butter and jelly on brussels sprouts does not make it an Asian dish. The pork nachos came in. It was nothing but chips and pork and barbecue sauce and cheese. it was very underwhelming The server came back in about 10 or 15 minutes to take our dinner order and we all ordered, she came back about 15 minutes after that to ask me what I had ordered so clearly she hadn't put the orders in. At that time, she tells us that the kitchen is backed up. It was more than an hour about an hour and 20 minutes from when we sat down when we received one of the other diners ordered the same pork nachos for dinner and surprise, pico de gallo, and all sorts of things on it and it looked pretty good. I don't know why we got one that had nothing on it but chips and meat and barbecue sauce. there was nobody to ask about it and nobody to really do anything about it because we had consumed it before we knew it was supposed to look a lot better than that. When the dishes came out from the kitchen, most of them were missing the grilled bread that was supposed to be on the plate. The food came out in three waves the first three dishes, then five minutes, then three more dishes, then 10 minutes then the last two dishes and by that time everybody that got their dishes first was already done. The chicken on everybody's dishes was the worst chicken I've ever had in the restaurant. We all thought they boiled it in plain water. I've never tasted anything like that in my life. It literally tasted like baby food. I ordered the shrimp and grits. Another incident of them thinking if they add shrimp and grits in a bowl it makes it shrimp and grits. It doesn't. What I got was six medium to small size shrimp plopped on top of some uninspired flavorless grits. They were supposed to be blackened, but they were not blackened at all. Clearly the person who is cooking doesn't know what blackening is. They also instead of having the correct gravy, dumped some Garlic sauce probably the same sauces. They're scampi dish on top of the grits. Yuck. The whole thing was messy and just wrong. It made me wanna go back in the kitchen and these people had to make the food They said they were selling. Eight persons, $300. Wasted. We literally would have gotten better tasting food going to the Taco Bell. I'm so disappointed. I definitely won't be back. I cannot even understand how they're still in business serving food like this, and the fact that their kitchen is just so messy, they can't even get the food out at the same time. Sheesh.

Outstanding local place! We are in town for vacation for 5 days and came here twice for lunch! That's how good it is! Both times, our servers were friendly and prompt. The Rum Runners were a great vacation drink. We enjoyed the fried green tomatoes so much we got them both times! The first visit we also got the pulled pork nachos, which was delicious. The second visit we got pulled pork bowls with pineapple salad, also delicious. If you are looking for great food at a good local place, come here!

I found this place on Yelp for the group I came to town with for dinner. It looked good. We were a party of 6 adults and a child. Made a reservation but didn't really need it on a Friday night. We ordered few apps and I got a drink. Was not a fan of the PB and J wings. Mussels were ok. I went for the seafood linguine for my entree. It consisted of mussels, shrimp and fish. Pasta was good. The fish was not fresh. Tasted and smelled fishy. I stopped eating the fish. My stomach was off the rest of the night. Shrimp was good and I am not sure about the mussels. The service was good though.

We stopped in for lunch and had a good experience. Started with Drunken Shrimp appetizer and Grouper bites as a special. Both were good. I had the pulled pork bowl which was also good. (They smoke their own meat behind their restaurant!) Cute surfer style spot to grab food and a cocktail, recommend!

We are staying around the corner in an AirBnB. Looking for someplace to walk to and have food and drinks. This looked interesting with indoor and outdoor seating. We got in and sat at the bar. Lily was our bartender and server. She did a great job with taking our drink orders. Pleasure to have conversation with about the different drinks and the specials of the day. Amanda ordered the Peach Palmer and I ordered a Rum runner. Both delicious. For dinner, Amanda ordered the Mahi Tacos, very large with lots of mahi! And I got the HogFish special blackened with broccolini and fries. Again very good! The bar has seating for 8. Table inside and a nice deck outside with plenty of seating! As always we ask ourselves, will we come back? Yes, and we plan on going again before we leave our vacation.

Such a cute little spot. The food was delicious and the owner came to check on us several times. The service was good, but got a little sparse when it got busy. I would definitely recommend the blackened shrimp and noodles.
