Visited Brick Street Farms and purchased their microgreens. I prefer buying local, but it's often way more expensive to do so. Not here! It was literally the same price if not more affordable than purchasing from Whole Foods and I got to support an awesome local biz. So happy and will definitely return! Next time I'll be purchasing meat as well!

This hydroponic farm survives from $9/month memberships that provide you with unlimited Reverse Osmosis Purified drinking water. The $29/month membership gets you a bag of veggies, too. The store is sparse, but the lettuces, kales, and assorted greens are fresh and flavorful. I loved the Boston Iceberg lettuce; ate it right from the box. And they are nice people, too.

Shopping in the area, I noticed some people walking by with brown bags, and asked them where the shop was. Turns out you have to go through the parking lot of what looks like a loading dock area to find the entrance.Once inside, there is a nice open, bright space, with a beverage cooler on the wall, a produce cooler, and a few shelves of merchandise. All the merchandise seemed to be locally produced, in Tampa or St. Petersburg, or at the very least, brought in because it was good for the environment.Brick Street Farms actually grows and sells their own lettuce, many different varieties. It looked delicious, and supposedly lasts much longer than big box store lettuce, but I couldn't buy any because I didn't want to leave it in my hot car. I did end up buying some ginger miso dressing, a cucumber vinegar, and a peanut/almond butter chai spice spread. I wish they had ground coffee for sale, but currently they only offer coffee beans. I can't wait to try everything!

So much fun! Brick Street Farms offers a free yoga class on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Took the time to finally go and I'll totally go back. They even offered us free tea and coffee, and I got to pick out some great healthy meal items.

I attended the Yelp event hosted Thursday night at Brick Street Farms and it was a great time! We learned a lot about how they're able to grow many acres worth of farmland inside of their shipping containers using a minuscule amount of water compared to normal farmland. All while keeping out pests, diseases, and weather that could hurt the crop. They also have a market where you can buy their produce along with other local natural products like sauces, jams, meats, and more. Many local restaurants and groceries are sourced by Brick Street. They also have a purified water subscription where you can get high quality water for a few bucks a month. Overall, the event was well put together, everyone was passionate , friendly, and seemed to have a good time. My wife and I are excited to come back and bring our friends too!

They seem nice and have a cute shop. Sadly, I was led to believe that they had starter plants that could be bought and planted. Turns out I was misled. Now I have to find something to fill the gaps I made

My friend and I had an amazing opportunity to visit Brick Street Farms. I'm a firm believer in doing as much as we can to help our planet, and the lengths the farm goes to reduce their carbon footprint is just so impressive and amazing to me. They use non GMO seeds only and use these really cool systems that use 90% less water than most other production- while still being able to produce some AMAZING veggies. They showed us how the plants are grown- we had masks on of course and we got to see just how clean and well taken care of those little baby heads of lettuce are. Please keep in mind though, that this place never does tours, which is honestly a good thing with the small nature of the shipping containers that the farm grows their produce in. They stressed that every single person who enters the farms has gloves and masks on at all times (only in the farm, not in the store). They even control the lights, temperature, and water from a phone app that they literally MADE for their farm. How cool is that??! I also may be slightly obsessed with the names on their produce. A favorite of mine is the green leaf lettuce that says 'So Fresh and so fine, we'll make your ex veggies so jealous'. I just love how creative and cute the packaging is and also just the aesthetic of the entire store! Brick street farms is such a breath of fresh air! The employees were so helpful and sweet answering all of our questions and allowing us some samples.Instead of going to the grocery store and buying some bagged lettuce that turns brown in a few days, and always has that weird flavor, go to St. Pete and try Brick Street Farms! They are farm to table, which meanss? You don't even need to wash the lettuce! This is something that causes it to be spoiled so fast for me at home, and with their products, your produce lasts for at least 20 days! Which is honestly unheard of to me.They have so many other local drinks, coffees, cheese, popcorn, sauces, etc. to offer at their store as well and great vegan options too! You can tell that they are very involved in the community. The pricing may be a little more than a typical store, but the quality doesn't disappoint! All of lettuce was priced around $10 and comes in a pretty sizable amount. Most other things weren't overly expensive either! Y'all should really try them out- because I know where I'm shopping for the holidays! I can't wait to have the perfect salad to bring to Thanksgiving dinner!

Nestled in an unsuspecting part of the super cool neighborhood, a farm! F resh and environmentally conscious. Organic at it's finest! They grow and sell the veggies on site! The veggies are grown with only water, in containers -on site. Tours may be available. Excited for the restaurant that they are going to be opening right across the street. Farm to table! Shop for salads and other goodies.

This is a really cool farm, growing in a small urban space. They are able to not waste any water with their hydroponic growing system. Their micro greens are really tasty. They have a cute store with a lot of local foods and of course their own greens. Would be back!

Fantastic - received baby herbs for Pop Goes the Waffle event that they were promoting in conjunction with Brickstreets own offerings. They grow their own hydroponic veggies and herbs to sell locally to restaurants in Tampa and you can also opt in a CSA/farmshare. The individual greenhouses are closed due to Covid-19 *SIGHS* through no fault of theirs obviously, but I really would've loved a tour since we grow a lot of our own herbs and I am easily fascinated by plants. These ladies were so helpful and even gave salad samples they grew with a very delish vinaigrette dressing - YUMMY! They have a pantry that includes honey & other items for purchase. They had a DJ for the event - loved all the Michael Jackson songs being played and the additional picnic tables with a stage, so we were sheltered from the sun. The parking would be small for events since others parked on the side of the road.
