Brazil Food Mart Ocoee

A hidden gem found from today's day off shenanigan. Im surprised to find a Brazilian food mart nearby the West side out of all places. My friend and I roamed through the local store as if there is no tomorrow. Haha the market / restaurant is small in size so it did jot take us long to check each corners. As you entered the main door, there is a buffet style display of foods on the right with a dinning area, baked goods and various snacks straight ahead, and variety of traditional Brazilian bread with assorted fillings along with flan and corn pudding. My friend and I tried the small cheese bread (pao de queijo), chicken croquettes (coxinha catupiry), shrimp croquettes, yucca croquettes, corn pudding, guava dessert. To be honest, out of everything that I tried, the corn pudding would be my favorite for it is not as sweet and the creamy texture taste like heaven. On a side note, I do like the croquettes but wish I could have eaten it a little warm and with some more kick to it. Definitely will be back to try the other foods and grabs some snacks for the go.

This hidden gem deserves all the recognition!! Came here for a quick lunch. It's self serve and cheap eats! You get 1 side, rice, beans and a an entree for 8.99!!! You can't beat it. It's super flavorful but not too salty! Don't forget to try the Brazilian cheese bread

First time in a Brazilian market which we just came across because we were getting açaí bowls at a place in the same plaza. I'm so glad we did though! We were still hungry after the bowls so we went to the market to get some food. We got some feijoada which I highly recommend, and their meat was so soft and tender I loved it. Their farofa was delicious as well and tasted great alongside the feijoada. I'd love to come back and try some things from the bakery as well!

Came back a second time already (the next day). The barbecue meat is so good. I tried a passion fruit juice drink....delicious. Everything here is good!OMG! The food here is delicious! I stopped in to get takeout from the buffet. There were plantains, beef (picanha?), chicken and fish, black beans, twoKinds of rice and more.I had some fresh cashew juice. It was really good. I was told the juice cones from a fruit that grows just below the cashew. I highly recommend it!

I was very impressed with the Brazil Food Market. I'm not sure how they managed to have a grocery store, bakery, butcher and restaurant all in one small space but they did. I was not greeted when I entered the store, at the meat counter or the restaurant. I received no acknowledgement from any employee during my entire visit. I stopped in to purchase some empanadas. Unfortunately my timing was off and they did not have the ones that I wanted in the restaurant area. The restaurant does not serve frozen or premade items so I knew that this may happen. There was a large amount of imported dry and frozen goods. I scanned the isles and found some hot peppers and cookies that I like. The meat looked very fresh and there was very limited produce available.

Food is delicious and good prices! You pay by the lb though so don't go super hungry and get 3 lbs of food and spend $30 on lunch

I just love to go there. I feel like Im in Brasil for some moments..it's so nice.People there smile, talk friendly , the food is good and the price affordable.Friendship and lots of smile...the Brasilian way. Thank you!
