They changed the sizes of their T bone steak noooooooooooiooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. You can tell im not happy. But but? It doesn't affect my rating. They started bringing "Cowboy steak cuts" they are so freaking huuge!! $13-18 a pop! U can definitely feed two people with 1. Go to the pre cut meat section n they are hidden there. I gave it a gentle marinade over night and then went with the cold smoking technique. Took about 12 hours to get it to a medium rare window. I also bought a packet of round cuts at a good price. I love their meats best! This will always be my go to for beef. Meat is always tender n soft. Grills great n smokes phenomenally. I am happy that they are getting more traffic. Hopefully my hipping helps them. Staffs is always nice. They got "exotics" in the freezer area by the meats. Whole rabbit, quail, animal body parts like tung, cheeks, hearts etc. at the butchers theres great selection n cuts of pork. I have noticed that most people rather select from the butcher than the pre packaged stuff. I used to love their old cut size of the T bones. They not big anymore. I am happy with the cowboy cut. If ya ever want to have a "viking" dinner? Get those!

Very disappointed I went there for baby back ribs and first I was not greeted when I came in and there were 2 cashiers not helping anyone watch me walk in as we made eye contact. They didn't have baby back ribs only spare ribs and a lot of them, which is weird to only have one type of ribs. The associates in the meat department was just talking watching me search all them ribs until I asked them do they have baby back they said no what's out is what's out. I left and won't be back the selection is too small

The store is very clean and the employees willingness to help was amazing. Oxtails and Cajun peanuts were good.

If you looking for meat, they have deal in the store. I got beef flank steak only for $4.95 a pound for the special of the day. It has many types of beef and pork cut. The meat market serves hot deli such as empanadas, tacos, fried chicken and more. The price of those deli food are affordable. It has package deal. For is ok since the price is low no complaints. They do have the seating area if you decide to eat there. The veggies section just like normal supermarket and same as the can good and un perishable food. They do have special soft drinks. Some from drink still at original bottle packaging. This store just like typical supermarket but is local own. The advantage is the meat they have sold here. If you have huge party at your home and hosting a BBQ, this is a good place to purchase your meat.

Best meat prices that I have found anywhere near the Brandon area. Chicken breasts $1.29/lb (for 5lbs or more), tilapia filets $2.79/lb, beef cuts were varied but everything from shoulder to London broil was no comparison to Publix, Aldi, Costco etc. The packaged food is dominantly Spanish oriented but with Asian, Indian, and Caribbean aisles as well. The selection of spices and rice, on nearly every aisle is impressive. The only comparable stores in price and selection are some of the Asian markets in the Tampa area. Don't expect the level of service of a specialty meat or seafood store but the central location on SR 60 and prices make this store a great find.

So disappointed. Ok the veggies and the dairy aisle are acceptable. The store is undergoing restorations. But stock carts blocking aisles is just sad. I went for the advertised meats. Ground meat (not BEEF) no changing gloves between the beef & chicken, But the worst part was the cock roaches on the meat that was about to be wrapped. My daughter saw them as I was being handed my meat and pointed them out. I said something, oh, ok. We said something about the roaches 3 times and all we got was "Thank you momma". I tried to make my meal with the meat that night. Needless to say, it went into the garbage and we had veggies that were scrubbed to death!!!!!

First time customer here, it's too bad that the rotten steaks I bought that said they were packaged the day I bought them (2 days ago) and while having the price I paid and also having the store name weren't enough for them to give me my money back or anything in place of it until I had those damn receipts. Dug through my trash got the receipt and took them back never buying from this nasty run down store again. Needs to be shut down. Take your business to quality meat market off of orient rd. NEVER have I ever had a problem there end everyone in there is SUPER friendly

Stumbled upon this market when I moved to the area and it is a must-stop now for meats. Chicken breasts are consistently $1.79/lb or less and they often have sales on different cuts of beef. The first week I went ribeye was on sale for $2.99/lb! The prices of the rest of the store are hit or miss, in my opinion. They often have what normal grocery stores do not, but they can be expensive. The employees are generally nice and helpful when trying to find items. The only problem I have with the store is the produce. That entire side of the store is a little dirty and some of the fruit looks old.

Ordered a case of chicken hearts by phone meat guy couldn't give me a price. Asked how much when I went to pickup and was told $54.00. That is double what two other places locally charge. So I left. Store also didn't smell good. Placed order with other meat market and can pick up today for $26.00. Brandon Meats wants to charge actually more than double the price. Want a RIP OFF!! Never go there again.

If I could give Zero stars I would We moved to the Brandon 6 days ago and passed this place while exploring town and decided to stop a few days later. The young man behind the butcher case packed my ground beef with his bare hands - no gloves - and hands it to me. I was so taken back I at first I didn't know what to do. I just said I changed my mind. Requested a manager on the way out and reported our experience. In the midst of Covid-19 this young man should be trained better. Pandemic or not that is absolutely unacceptable. Very disappointed, the hunt for a meat market continues.
