Box Of Cubans

Came to grab a Cuban sandwich to go. I am obsessed with Cuban sandwiches recently.The person behind the counter was witty and funny, very welcoming! It might have been the owner itself. Good space to sit and eat, causal ambience. The reason I am giving 3 stars ( to start, that might change, I have to try another time since it's also a new place ) is that compared to my favorite places I go to in the area the pork had less flavor, and I like the mustard flavor and pickles at my usual spot better. I also like the bread at my usual spot better. Needless to say it's a solid place, and I haven't tried the other things they have. I am glad there is a new Cuban place around this area here, because the drive to get Cuban food can be long depending on where you live.I suggest you come and try the menu, try their coffee and support the new restaurant. It's definitely a place when I crave a Cuban and don't want to drive that long I'd get it again.

When they just open I was there. I want the opinion of the public before I give them average rating. I was Miami resident for eleven years. Very much know about the Cuban cuisine. Especially the use of sauce. We got the mojo pork bowl. It comes with plantain and rice and bean. I feel the mojo sauce is very little. It can be more heavy spices. The Bistec is definitely not better. Although it carry the taste but I feel they are very light. Overall is average. Clerk is friendly. Need to wait for the food due to many customers.

Stopped by after seeing an advertisement on the Wesley Chapel Local instagram channel. Looked delicious and was a bit concerned that the food would not be the same...boy was a wrong. The food was fresh and authentic. We showed up right when they closed the doors, but saw us and opened back up; I thought that was pretty great. We had the typical Cuban as well as the Cheeseburger Cuban...both were delicious. I have not seen success for businesses in this spot, but hope Box of Cubans changes things. Very nice place, friendly staff, and I strongly recommend if you are looking for an awesome Cuban meal while in New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area.

Great selection of sandwiches including classics like the traditional Cuban and Media Noche. Excellent empanadas and bowls as well, and the breakfast menu options are out of this world... a must on the weekends!

Box of Cubans is by far the best addition to the Tampa Palms area! Five stars all around for the food and service. I had the Cuban sandwich, the empanadas and the Cuban coffee and all were absolutely A1 top notch. Tampa is known for Spanish/Hispanic cuisine and to be competing with so many other places around here and still be top 3 is amazing for them for sure. I highly recommend this place if you haven't been!

This place is awesome fresh made sandwich's , rice bowls , empanadas and desert. Great crew and service ... this place is new support it it's great

So excited to have some Cuban flavors and favorites moving closer and closer to me!! Can't wait to try everything on the menu!! today, going with my traditional favorite media noche! hubby went with the pan con bistec, also tasty Service was unbelievably friendly, decor so cute!! Careful on way out....Can't wait to come back!!!

Highly recommend!If you want great food, come here. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is top-notch. Only downside? You get so much food that you have to get a doggie bag. Upside? You get two amazing meals out of a single order!!!!!Definitely my new favorite place!!!

Mojito Lechon Sandwich was FANTASTIC!Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Highly recommend you try this place if your in the area; you won't be disappointed.

Easy access from the interstate! Best Cuban sandwich that we've had in ten years! The mojo marinade in the pork was exactly what you would expect out of excellent Cuban recipes. Excellent service from everyone. You can tell they are passionate about what they are serving you. Will definitely be coming back! And they cater!!
