I was told to check them out by the wife of a patient in the clinic I was working at. I go in and see food laid out like a buffet of sorts. To which I didn't budge. I saw alcapurria and asked for a green banana and a yuca version. They were meh at best. What I really wanted was pizza. Asked for 2 slices with pepperoni and extra cheese and specifically said well done. I will say I let it marinate til The next day and ate it for lunch... Pizza was on point. Will I go back? For pizza ... mos def‼‼

Borinquen was a nice find in Poinciana area. In addition to authentic Puerto Rican, they offered pizza and calzones which we thought was an interesting combination. We decided to sample the Puerto Rican food and started with fried corn fritters (Sorullos de Maíz) and plantains. Dinner included Rice mixed with Chicken (Arroz con Pollo), Chicken Strew (Pollo Guisad), Steak (Bistec Churrasco) and slow roasted Pork (Pernil Entero). The rice, chicken and pork were tasty. The steak was served in bite sized chunks and was fairly bland. Alcoholic drinks consisted of beer and wine. Overall the meal was good and prices were reasonable

Unfortunately, we love going to this place for their empanadas. I placed an order on December 13 for 50 regular size Colombian empanadas to be ready at 10:30 and here I am at 11:50 in traffic trying to get to the party for my wife's school since they did not even begin the order until I got there at 11:15.am very disappointed and will not be coming back

We are new to Poinciana and this is the first restaurant we have visited. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! It's a very small mom and pop restaurant and it made me feel very cozy and as if I was eating at Puerto Rico. We'll definitely be returning again!

I went there the first time and ordered a ham and cheese sandwich toasted and juice. The sandwich wasn't fully spread with ham and cheese. The corner of the sandwich was empty. I found the sandwich to be very cheap on ham and cheese. It came with chips. It's pricey too. The following week I went again thinking it was just the sandwich. I took my mom she ordered coffee and the small cup of coffee was like hello! Why do small the cups? Anyway, she wanted two fried eggs and home fries eggs sunny side up. No home fries and the eggs were turned and cooked. It took about 45 minutes Not sunny side up. Had to order coffee again. I didn't order anything. The menu board was out. Very pricey. This place can really be nice if they had more people working in the kitchen and better cooks. Homef

the food was excellent very flavorful and presentation was also amazing, fresh flower for garnish (our kids loved it). Service was also great we were greeted and seated within minutes. we went for Mother's Day so the ambiance was also there. really recommend to anyone visiting Kissimmee/Poinciana.
