Blackburn's BBQ

Had the Brisket and Pulled Pork. Was fantastic.Service, atmosphere and food were all excellent. Love the fact Mr Blackburn still talks to his customers.

This was my fiancé's and my second visit to Blackburn's BBQ in East Lake, Florida, and it did not disappoint. The first time, we tried the pulled pork, which was absolutely amazing. This time, we went for the smoked half chicken with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, smoked to perfection, and so tender it practically melted in your mouth--almost buttery. It was so flavorful it didn't even need barbecue sauce.Speaking of barbecue sauce, Blackburn's makes and bottles their own, and it's a must-buy when you visit. While I haven't tried the spicy version yet, my fiancé and I purchased the sweet barbecue sauce, and it's incredible. As for the sides, the macaroni and cheese was creamy and delectable, and the collard greens took me back to my roots as a Southern girl--they were just like I remember growing up.Not only is the food outstanding, but the restaurant itself is immaculate. The lawn is meticulously manicured, and the interior, including the bathrooms, is spotless. To me, clean bathrooms are a sign of how much care goes into the entire establishment.The owner, Brandon, makes it a point to walk around and check on his guests. We had the pleasure of meeting and talking to him during our visit and hearing his story. He's truly on the right track with this barbecue business.We drove two hours to eat here, and it was worth every mile. If you make the trip, you won't regret it.I was so excited to dig in that I forgot to take photos--please forgive me this time!

Great Food and Service.... but Horrible Hours!!!They're CLOSED 3 Days a Week ..... Sonny's is open 7 Days a Week with Excellent Food & Service!

Great customer service . Wonderful server, food was amazing, flavorfu,l and fresh ingredients Tried:Deviled eggs (def give them a try you will be impressed) Brisket, pulled pork & chicken, and ribs.Cabbage, corn casserole, collards, and potato salad.My fav was the brisket, ribs, corn casserole, and collards.If you love BBQ give this place a shot you won't be disappointed

Good family good food. I've eaten with them since they were a food truck. now a full fledged business. The also cater from their new restaurant- you won't be hungry when you leave.

Service and food is always awesome! They have great sides and wonderful options. Service is friendly. They offer a variety of sauces but the food is so good that I skip the extras!

We went here once and really enjoyed it. Awesome hospitality and the food was nice and hot. Was a great place to bring the family.

Food was amazing hands down the best BBQ we have had since moving from the Midwest. We just did grab and go but she was friendly and fast it took a few minutes and we were on the road. Ribs fell apart the turkey was amazing sausages also great. Brisket was above average tender but just a little dry. Sides were good potato salad it's ok I probably wouldn't get it again Mac and cheeses very good corn casserole same would get both again. Overall cannot wait to come back

We love talking about how good everything is here. We take new people as often as possible. Great food great service.

Blackburns food was great! We got the family meal for 6. Ribs 8/10, pulled chicken 5/10 it was a little dry and smoke taste was way too much, pulled pork 9.5/10. Sides were Cole slaw - 10/10, Mac n cheese 6/10,baked beans 9:10, collard greens 7/10, garlic bread 2/10. Had a little hiccup at pickup which made my husband not want to ever go back....but, the food was SO good he has no choice :) The menu in yelp was not accurate on pricing so instead of it being 65 before tax it was $75. Still a good deal as it's a ton of food and I'd say enough for at least 10 people.
