Period.Whether you visit for breakfast! Or lunch! Or dinner on Friday, you'll be wooed with food! Yes, I just said that!Most locals know about Biguns breakfast. They have a whole lot of regulars, and there is a darn good reason. Excellent food, lots of choices and the staff totally treats you like family! Fab one and I eat breakfast here quite often, and it's a treat every single time.Today, I ventured out on my own. Without my fine foodie female at my side. Imagine that? I had worked like crazy all morning, so I was a hungry man. As I was driving, thinking about where to go for lunch, I spotted that familiar little red stretched Monopoly house affectionately called Biguns. Great Southern name, eh? As I was passing by, I swear the woodsmoke from the Bar B Q pit wafted up and over two lanes of highway, entered through the a/c vents, grabbed me by the nose and devilishly beckoned me hither and yon..?? Well, something like that. Heck, I was already putting on my turn signal.Enter into the most wonderful aroma filled eating arena you can imagine. That smoke sure does things to your mind and taste buds. The next best part is being greeted by Tammy & Dave, the owners, and Theresa, Deb, Danielle, Mark, Jack and the rest of the gang. Like a home away from home. Truly.I, or we, when my beautiful Barbie Q babe is with me, love to sit at the little counter overlooking the kitchen. It's like being in the flight control tower on an aircraft carrier. A whole lot of arriving ticketed orders on the hook and departing food flights catapulting to the diners! Fun to watch! Tons of activity on the flat top! I opted for a man-sized meal on this visit. I'd been chopping down an old oak tree, using a chainsaw and a tractor, so I was feeling pretty 'macho'(Love that old word!).Back to the food. Danielle set before me a plate of ribs that even Fred Flintstone would envy! They were quite large, with a whole lot of juicy-looking meat and a trickle of juice running down off of them. I could see the unmistakable signature of a talented Pit Boss, in what's known as the Smoke Ring. It's that wonderful reddish-pink layer just under the crunchy crusty outer bark. A sure sign of awesome tastes to come! These ribs were OUT OF THIS WORLD! Fall off the bone tender, so full of flavor and oh so good.Oh yeah. I seem to remember along with the ribs, I had a choice of two sides. I got a salad and some collard greens. They played very well together in this fork and fingers fiesta!Bottom line. Whether you're an early bird, or like to sleep in late, Biguns will set you up with some mighty fine dining. Breakfast, lunch or Friday dinner.Right about now I figure it's time for you to quit reading and surfing the web, cause you've built up quite a hunger. Pick up your phone. Lock Biguns into you GPS. But beware, cause I'll bet Siri will want to come out of hiding and join you!!!! (or whomever your phone uses).

Slow service, less than average food. This is a one time experience for me (party of six).

Food is def bbq & delicious!This was our first time here & we enjoyed the bbq food.Our waitress was fantastic!Definitely recommend this bbq restaurant

I hunted for BBQ in the area and found this place. Had decent reviews so why not. Checked out the online menu beforehand and was excited about the beef ribs. Small place and it was slightly busy. The first thing I found out was that they didn't have the beef ribs...or any ribs available...at a BBQ joint??!!??!!??!! Seriously? On a Saturday afternoon. So I pivoted to a sandwich and was told the didn't have buns and it had the be served on garlic bread. Um...ok... fortunately the pork and brisket was good, as were the fried okra. Didn't care for the collard greens. Service as fine also. All in all, it was ok at best.

This is a great place for breakfast. They are very reasonable on their prices and they have the absolute best hash brown casserole. The manager, Amanda, and the entire staff are amazing. I haven't tried lunch there but plan to do so in the near future.

We get to Spring Hill to see family once or twice a year and we always manage to get to Bigun's. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the hash is legit (as is the rest of the menu) and the prices are spot on. It's nothing fancy but you couldn't ask for a better diner breakfast.

Delicious! We tried a variety of different bbq dishes and they all tasted delicious. We were disappointed because they had run out of brisket, chicken, Mac & Cheese and cornbread and it was a Friday! Hope to try them next visit. The service was fast and friendly, we went in to order our food to go.

When a successful business sells it is wise for the new owners to keep the recipes faithful even at the expense of having to raise the price. The new owners seem to have failed keeping that in mind. Baked beans straight out of the can ever though everything needed to make good ones are right there in the kitchen. My wife's ribs today dry and cooked differently than before. The sound of chopped pork was never heard today and my now pulled pork sandwich tasted like yesterday.. Noon produced a small number of locals for lunch. Guess most have already got the word.. After many years of traveling 45 minutes to eat there we are done until something changes... Sorry Folks.

I used to like to eat breakfast here. The last four or five times we have gone there, it has been filled with flies. On our table, on our food, even on customers. I have others who tell me the same thing. Someone needs to clean the place up, or close it up.

We used to love going here. The last few times we have gone the food quality is very low and it tastes that way too. They finally opened for dinner again on Fridays so we thought we would give it a try. The food just isn't good and you are paying too price for low quality food. The macaroni and cheese tasted like it had sat all day and the ribs were seriously overcooked. My hubby ordered well done colored steak and it was rare.
