Good food! Good portion. The pork was nice and tender. Service was a bit slow because there was only one worker. She did try her best to keep up and was very polite about it. Prices were a little steep. Also did not like that you could not help yourself to the different BBQ sauces.

Great BBQ food and customer service. Cornbread with the honey butter and brisket Mac and cheese were amazing! The portions were a decent size, will definitely be back.

Super friendly staff but BBQ was just ok and over sauced. I did not care for the coleslaw either. Menu choices were also odd, no platters just sandwiches.

Was looking for bbq in Palm harbor / tarpon springs and I finally found it! Big momma's is what I was looking for. Located in Alderman plaza I was greeted with great service. Gentlemen explained their menu since there are some catering and large party options. I got the rib tips which omg they were soooo good! Their homemade sauces are exactly what you would want with bbq. Baked beans and coleslaw were ok but bbq is what I was looking for. I'm excited to try their burnt ends since they sell out really fast. Come visit Big Momma's you will not be disappointed.

The food and service was amazing! I couldn't wait for this restaurant to open, and cannot tell you how absolutely good the food is here. The good news is that they are located right here in Palm Harbor. I ordered a rib sandwich which was juicy, and very tasty! The sauce is also delicious!I can't wait to go back and try other items from their menu! I immediately texted and told my family and friends. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed!

Ribs are fall off the bone and exploding with flavor. Truffle parm fries and 5 cheese Mac are insanely good. This place has quietly come in and snatched the crown from ozona pig as the best BBQ in town. Thanks Jerome!

Right off the bat - the menu offers either sandwiches or meat by the full pound only . No platters or combos of any kind. You can make any sandwich into a "combo" which adds side and drink. After ordering a chopped pork sandwich I was asked which of two sauces I wanted. When I said I had no idea and asked if I could taste them they acted like no one had ever asked before, and poured a bit of each on a paper towel and handed it to me. Service was EXTREMELY slow and food was nothing special, especially after finding large chunks of gristle in both sandwiches. Will not be back when there is a much much better option ten minutes away.

They were out of ribs and burnt ends so we opted for the Brisket cheese fries and the pulled pork sandwich because we figure how do you mess up that? The fries were covered with canned cheddar (like you get at a baseball field for nachos, see picture) and the brisket was completely dried out. The pulled pork sandwich wasn't super great either. Had the mac n cheese and it tasted spoiled. Beans were the only thing we actually liked when it came to food. The worker who took our order was friendly. Honestly, will not come back even to try the ribs...

1st visit impressions. Mommas is very pricey, especially when adding a side and a drink as a combo - nearly $20 for a lesser priced pork sandwich option. A brisket combo would easily exceed $20; a two side combo would exceed $25. Then you are prompted for a tip - at an order and counter pick-up style restaurant. A tip for taking your order, I suppose. The chopped pork was dry and this place doesn't even put out their sauces - they are kept in the kitchen. I was only offered 2 choices - the one I selected was way too sweet and lacked any discernible flavor. The fries were foo-foo and quite odd tasting also. There are too many lesser priced better near by - Ozona Pig, Real BBQ, and Mission BBQ - for example. Those places offer better taste, quality, and ambience.Check it out if you need to, or save yourself the disappointment and head to one of the established alternatives.
