food
Sharing a meal with friends.
Cashew, gooseberry and passion fruit beverages at the lunch buffet (food sold by pound)
Yuca biscuit snacks
the outside of the store
Watermelon soda. Actually made by a Cuban heritage soda company in Miami but seems to be a Brazilian flavor and marketing
a display of a variety of juices
Pamonha.. Some sort of Brazilian tamale described to me as creamy corn. String colors tell you if it has cheese and or sausage
Boon's fav. Chicken hearts.
They have a variety of delicious looking preserves. This one is some kind of pumpkin coconut preserve. There are also fig, plum.
Acai and granola ypgurts. Loolwd interesting. Not cheap thoufh at aroind $4 a pop.
Guarana sodas
I really like this in salads
Linguica, meat for feijoada etc.
Several aisles to explore. I want to try the pumpkin coconut jam.
Farofa

This place is spotlessly clean, spacious and very friendly. My Portuguese skills are quite limited but they were ultimately patient with me!USDA Prime Picanha steak for the win! $11 a lb and very delicious! We also got some Portuguese Linguica sausage we will try tomorrow! They have so much more to try! I got Brazilian coffee but they had at least ten kinds! Can't wait to try it!Life is good with Brazil in Tampa!

The pão de queijo looked beautiful on the display case but was so hard that you couldn't even bite into it. The bottom of the coxinha was super crusty meaning it had been sitting in the warming tray for a VERY long time. What a shame.

Authentic Brazilian grocery store and buffet. This is where to go to find ingredients you cannot find in normal grocery stores.I was surprised that the buffet is still open. Yes, there are signs saying you must use hand sanitizer and gloves, but to allow for self-serve in this day and age seems irresponsible. I admit that the food smelled delicious, but I just couldn't convince myself to take the risk (maybe in the future I'd take out and reheat at home). When I was there, I saw Brazilian sausage, breaded chicken, a beef stew, feijioada, plantains, many salads and rice. Prices are by weight, more expensive if you only pick meats.

Just finished having lunch at Cafe No Bule down the street, and I saw this store. I had to stop in. There are a lot of the tropical juices and Guarana here. They are definitely ones you can't just find at Publix like Cajo, Passion Fruit, and Guava. They also have different goods that you will see at the restaurant like Farofa, Hearts of Palms, Olives, Beans, Meats, and different cookies and candies. There is a lunch buffet, and a place to eat it, but it was not available when I was there. Pretty cool place with everyone speaking Portuguese.

Not the largest food market out there but they do carry the essentials if you're interested in cooking Brazilian dishes. I've mainly gone in there to purchase farinha de mandioca (cassava flour) to make farofa. They carry both white and yellow, raw and preseasoned, coarse and fine flours. I've never bought any of their meats or tried the prepared foods but would be interested in trying next time I stop by.

Horrible customer service. The coxinha was also bad, tasted bland, no flavor whatsoever and it wasn't even fried all the way (still cold inside). The selection is ok, often times there are items out of stock but I can understand that. The old lady at the counter feels like she's doing you a favor to ring you up. Treats you like dog poop and doesn't even bother trying to hide it. If that's how you feel working in the service industry you should probably reconsider your choices. Being the biggest among so few Brazilian places sure gives a sense of monopoly, but fewer people will patronize you. I know I won't. If you don't like being treated poorly (and paying for it) avoid this place. There are other places you can get the same products and feel like your business is valued.

The place has really good stuff to buy, but their food was not good at all. I bought a coxinha and I can say that it was one of the worst ones I've ever had.
