Bekdash Ice Cream is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Arab desserts! The coffee here is incredible--strong, espresso-like, and guaranteed to wake you up. But the real star is the Arab ice cream. It's unlike anything else--it's stretchy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. You have to try it!We also indulged in the crunchy kunafa, and it was phenomenal. It was perfectly cheesy, served warm, and hit the spot with its generous drizzle of syrup. For a sweet treat to take home, we got a large baklava, which was massive, flaky, and flavorful. Every bite was a testament to the quality of their ingredients and craftsmanship. Yes, it's a bit pricier than your average dessert spot, but the quality and portions make it worth every penny. The ambiance is just as impressive as the food. The decor is stunning, with a clean and elegant white and gold aesthetic that makes the whole place feel luxurious. It's impeccably clean and inviting, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy your treats. The staff are warm and welcoming. The girl scooping the ice cream was incredibly sweet, funny, and made the experience even better. However, it's clear that they're understaffed. We waited in line with our ice cream for a bit, but thankfully it didn't melt. Adding more help at the register would make the experience flawless. If you're looking for an elevated dessert experience with incredible flavors and a beautiful setting, Bekdash Ice Cream is a must-visit. You'll walk away happy, full, and already planning your next trip back!

I'm incredibly disappointed to be writing this because I found this place on TikTok while scrolling and it looked AMAZING. From the video the inside looked spectacular and in person it did as well. Everything was clean, it looked like a high tier type of place, fancy. Unfortunately we left without getting anything. Upon walking in we walked to where it said "start here" or something of the sort. Essentially it's a long line of offerings and you choose Arabic ice cream, regular ice cream/gelato, coffee, and sweets. One of my favorite sweets is baklava so finding this place and knowing they had a baklava ice cream sandwich sounded amazing and I just had to have it. Also in the video they had something called kunafa and it looked amazing so I went with the objective to minimally try these 2 things but likely leave with more because it all looked amazing. So while standing at the start here, it's all roped down the line and there were 2 people getting the Arabic ice cream and filming them making it so it made it difficult to get around to see the other options since we had a stroller and they didn't bother moving over despite acknowledging us. I opened the rope and we went around to see the other selections. Got to the main part where I saw the baklava and the kunafa. A huge group of people came in and skipped in front of us and immediately were being helped by 2 workers while we got completely ignored. After standing around hoping to be helped and choose what we wanted we started to feeling incredibly uncomfortable. It was clear no one wanted to assist us, I'm not sure if it's because we weren't the same background as every person in the building, but after blatantly being glossed over by staff and skipped in front of, we just decided to leave after a few minutes and leave with nothing since they didn't seem to want to serve us. Super unfortunate because everything looked delicious.shkran

Wow! This place has such unique options, like Arabian ice cream which is really hard to find! It has a very interesting texture but is still so creamy and delicious, and in the baklava ice cream sandwich it was a perfect combo. This is a great place if you love trying new unique desserts. They also had lots of pastries and other items that looked delicious. My mom got gelato and said it was one of the best she's had, so that's a great option as well. The service was great and the ambiance is really nice! The place is huge with plenty of seating.

After hearing many great things about Bekdash, I finally got the opportunity to try it for myself when I was in the area and in need of something sweet! Upon walking in, I was enamored with the decor, open space, and ambiance of the place. It felt magical and like you are walking into dessert/pastry heaven. The first area you will pass is by the gelatos, but you will be offered a sample of their famous Arabian ice cream! It is lightly sweet, and almost has a gummy consistency. The flavor and texture is not what you would expect but it is still so good!As you keep making your way down, you are met with many different options of pastries and baklava. The staff took their time to explain the different menu options and flavor profiles of many of the desserts. I went with what was recommended to me by the them, which was a crispy kunafa with Arabian ice cream on top. The combination was everything! It was sweet, cheesy, crispy, and everything I could ask for in one bite! If you are ever in the area and are looking to try something different, I highly recommend Bekdash. I can't wait to go back and try more of their plentiful options!

Bekdash is a newer cafe/pastry/ice cream shop in Temple Terrace. I saw ads for it a while back and a dear friend of mine suggested we have a girls outing since they are 1) really good and 2) have some harder to find items. We went on a weekend night and it was slammed. The parking lot was overflowing to the unpaved area and it was absolute insanity inside. There's an ice cream station (scoopable flavors and also the stretchy middle eastern variety), a baklava station, kunafa station, a coffee corner, and a cold case for the dairy-based and pudding type treats. There's a QR code for the full menu that lets you see things like ice cream sandwiches made using baklava, but I was so overstimulated I couldn't put any focus on that the first time. We ended up getting an assortment of baklava, a kunafa, one of the creamy cheese filled Syrian pastries from the cold case (on my friend's suggestion since she hasn't been able to find this specific thing since she spent time there), and an ice cream. Everything was exceptionally good. Kunafa was on point, the cheese thing was great, and I am glad I only got a small box of baklava or I would eat my weight in it. The prices were very reasonable. The service was great - the ice cream station offered samples, the lady at the baklava case offered a sample (insisted, didn't even give me a chance to say no), checking out was super easy...I went back a couple months later with a friend on a weekday afternoon and it was super quiet in comparison. But the service and quality were still excellent. The coffee was great too!

After watching so many videos on their Instagram I finally decided to go. Baklava is one of my favorite desserts so I was so excited. The place is really beautiful and aesthetic, gives authentic Arab vibes and it smells AMAZING! They offer so many options for Baklava and many other desserts mainly with nuts and honey. The costumer service and organization is not the best but the quality of the food is on point. Definitely an experience to try.

If Arabic culture had a Disney land this would be the spot. It's so grand and lively inside , the decor is so fascinating and unique. As for the ice cream , it was really cool seeing it stretch kind of like melted cheese. The secret is the mastic gum they add to give the ice cream elastic properties. The flavor is just like any other I've had but the texture is different. Kunafa - sweet and savory , there's a crispy coating of pastry fried and syrup poured on top. The cheese on the bottom is slightly salty, a very good contrast of textures and flavors.

Had to stop by and try the delish desserts at Bekdash. It was a treat! First the ice cream was creamy and fresh. The vanilla and lemon flavors were full of natural flavor. Lots of baklava varieties from pistachio, cashew and walnut. The Soft Kunafa was my favorite. Warm and creamy with a drizzle of honey on top. It's a must try!
