I'd been craving curry for days so I stopped here for a quick dinner before hitting the road, and what a lovely restaurant it was. I ordered lamb vindaloo curry, asked for it to be spicy hot, and Bay Leaves Indian Cuisine satisfied that craving and then some! Paired with garlic and rosemary naan I ate until I was stuffed. The service was great, with the two owners navigating the dining hall and checking in with tables. I never felt like I wasn't being served; my glass never emptied. Honestly, just an excellent family restaurant with authentic and enjoyable Indian cuisine. Bay Leaves is very welcoming and comfortable, and a dinner spot anyone would enjoy!

I recently visited Bay Leaves with two friends. We had a good meal, and I picked up the tab, did not really look at the total except for calculating the 20% tip I left. Service was less exceptional than it usually is also..When I got home... I was notified by my bank I had a charge from Bay Leaves, and it was $146.03. That seemed high... so I went to their website and did a spreadsheet with the prices listed online... and then added the prices in the reciept (which were different prices) which I found strange.I called and spoke to the lady who was there when we went (manager? hostess?)... and she texted me a copy of the reciept. I let her know that I found what seemed to be a discrepancy in the amount I was charged. I sent her the spreadsheet I had put together and I asked for a callback.Never got a call back. So posting the spreadsheet and the reciept here so people will know to be careful. The Online Prices are screenshots from their website, along with a screenshot of the receipt. Note that the prices are different on the receipt and the online pricing menu. Also note that what I was charged is not shown anywhere in the spreadsheet even though it is accurate. Check it yourself.... :)

Probably ~3.5/5 stars. The ambiance seems very authentic and gave the vibe of a mom n pop restaurant. There was only us and one other table but food came out quick.Paneer makhani ($16.99) - 9/10 pretty good paneer in a tomato sauce. Got it mild and there was pretty much no spice. Delicious with naan bread. Aloo saag and channa saag ($15.99 each) - 7/10 good flavor but be warned, even when mild and no spice, respectively, it was quite spicy. Naan ($2.99) - comes with 4 pieces and is warm and soft. I'm sure the garlic or onion naan would be even tastier but we didn't try it. Overall, pretty good taste but not for the faint of heart (i.e. spicy intolerant). It was also a little pricy for what it is, I thought it'd be a few bucks cheaper per entree tbh. However, it was nice that a Yelp check-in gets you a free mango lassi (a definite necessity for my poor sister who was dying from the spice). They also have a lunch buffet from like 11-2:30 on Sunday for $19.99 which I'm interested in checking out. It is a little pricier than the Indian lunch buffets I'm used to in Orlando which are about $13-15 per person.

The slop I received was half oil. It was clearly microwaved at least twice. Probably the leftovers from the lunch buffet. Looks nothing like the pictures from other reviews, and unfortunately it tasted as bad as it looked. The naan was fresh at least.

I'm absolutely obsessed with their Paneer Makhani and Palak Paneer. I keep ordering Bay Leaves off of Doordash, because I legitimately crave the food, it's that good. My go to order is Paneer Makhani, Palak Paneer, garlic naan and onion naan. I tried the cheese naan once and didn't enjoy it as much as the garlic and onion naan. I never thought I'd find an Indian dish that I liked more than Palak Paneer, but I've been proven wrong. The Paneer Makhani is to die for. It's slightly sweet and described as a tomato based gravy. I can just eat it with a spoon. The Palak Paneer is more creamy than spinachy. They go heavy on the cream here, but it's absolutely delicious. If I was planning for just one meal, I wouldn't get both the naan and onion naan (the naan is best fresh), but I love them both so much I have to get both. The dishes do come with rice, but don't skip out on the naan. I also get a mango lassi, which is the perfect amount of sweetness. I once tried to make Palak Paneer and it took hours with tons of ingredients. That's why I don't feel bad ordering Indian food, they aren't recipes that I can easily replicate at home. I highly recommend this place.

I can only leave my review based on food as my order was to-go. I decided to try this place for the first time on a whim so I made a pick up order for some Chana Masala, coconut rice, garlic naan, and mango lassi. I am very sensitive to spicy foods so when I ordered it I made sure to note that it needed to be mild. I picked up my order on my way to work and was excited to drink my mango lassi. I had 3 sips and couldn't drink anymore. It was so sour and gross, I'm not sure if it was bad or made incorrectly. So then I get to work and start to eat and realize the masala is so spicy, for me, I can't even eat it. I looked at the receipt stapled to the bag and it did say where I notated MILD. I have gotten Indian dishes before and have never had an issue with adjusting the spice level for me. If that was their definition of mild, I definitely won't be back because I can't eat anything there! But the naan bread was delicious!!

I placed an online order on Monday, I got charged, but the restaurant ended up not being open. The website and maps say it's open on Monday until 10pm. I've been calling the number and no one picks up. I want my money back. Completely unprofessional

Terribly over-priced. Small portion sizes. The saag was good but, the muligatawny soup was basically a bowl of coconut milk, with a scant amount of lentil tidbits on the bottom. Also, because of the cost of my meal I should've gotten a side of Naan (per the website), and that was not received. Even when I unknowingly asked if it would come with Naan. Overall, vastly disappointing- no wonder no one was in there when I was.

I have no idea how I have not ran into this Indian restaurant, but I am so glad I found it. With a convenient location, amazing flavors from South and North India, the diversity in this menu is definitely something to experience. Open late on Sundays. Clean, relaxing ambience.
