Bavaro's Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria

We came across this restaurant for a quick lunch and we were impressed! We were around the area so we look up on Yelp, and this came up, we started with the Calabrian Wings, and they were unbelievably good! I asked for blue cheese(shame on me) they told me they don't have that because they are supposed to be eaten how they come and they were so right about it! Those wings did not need anything else! As my main, I ordered the Lunch Burrata Pizza, and it was so good, the dough was soft but crispy at the same time, just so good! I also add some prosciutto because why not, and it was a good idea! Service was great! They were very attentive and nice with us! The restaurant vibes are very cozy and nice, the patio area is great in this weather too. Coming back for sure when in St. Pete.

I love Bavaro's Penne alla Vodka pasta. The sauce is just so creamy and delicious. I dipped the piece of bread in it to truly enjoy the flavor. My bf got the Margherita Pizza. The bread is fantastic - more bread crust to dip into my pasta sauce! The bread is welcome on the pizza. It is slightly charred from the pizza oven and very airy and chewy. I really like having dinner at Bavaro's. It wasn't busy on a mid week standard dinner service.

Terrible service. Waited 15 minutes as 3 bartenders ignored me. Didn't order a drink, got my food to go.

Our favorite pizza place. The pizza is top notch. You can taste the fresh ingredients. We have turned all our family on to Bavaro's as well. In fact, it's a must stop when they are in town. We also like to pick up their pasta sauce while there. I just wish we had one closer.

So we haven't been here in a while and last time we had pizza that was good but not awesome. This time we tried some other things and omg they were delicious. First off DTSP is just way too crowded. These million dollar high rises are going up faster than the infrastructure can support the people. Parking is terrible. But we got a spot. Waited a while to sit but once seated we were waited on by a friend from bar chinchilla! She remembered us! So portions are large so even sharing you will have stuff to take home. Started with the tomato bisque. So delicious. Not so heavy and creamy but just right. Really good. It came with a butter and oil soaked crusting but he still order some garlic bread. Basically a small pizza covered in garlic and butter yummy! Next we shared the Italian salad. Large portion. Easily shared with 2 and probably 3. Delicious. So many awesome flavors. We finished with the lemon pasta. Really delicious. Big portion. Glad we decided to try here again. Everything was really good. Service was quick. It was crazy busy but still a good vibe.

Cute spot in downtown St. Pete. Shared a chopped salad and pepperoni pizza with my friend. Both were delish! Service was exceptional.

Probably not best to visit a week after a hurricane hits your state, as they were out of white wine (except the white wine on tap...that I'd recommend you not drink). But overall, the restaurant was nice: Intimate, can tell it's a local's go-to, menu with enough variety without being overwhelming, friendly and patience staff. The rigatoni al funghi was a bit too rich for my liking, so I only ate about half my meal, but the other half made a good snack in my hotel room later on.

In town from Pittsburgh. Food was delicious, ingredients were fresh and the service from Jennifer at the bar was fantastic! Very authentic Italian with homemade dishes and imported ingredients! Cozy and quaint environment that was really enjoyable! Great find for dinner!
