Okay, Barriehaus, you got my attention. Every time I visit Tampa, I visit you. This last time though, the vibe was not right. Maybe you have outgrown me. In any case, you stopped doing flights. Not sure why, but you may have lost a customer. Because although, I don't live in Tampa, I have been loyal. Just felt unwanted this last visit. So unfortunate.

Love the atmosphere here and the beer! The outdoor patio is big and they have a good selection of beers. Lots of beers that you can grab to-go and they have some board games. They don't do beer samples but you can do half pours or full pours. Didn't try their food but they have a few items on their menu.

This has been on our list. Try for a couple of months now and we found ourselves back in the Tampa area which provided the perfect opportunity to check it out. We arrived around 4 o'clock on a Friday afternoon and the location was fairly steady with what clearly were regulars. we were able to find a hightop table near the back inside as it was rather hot outside. There is no table service so you walk up to the bar to order your beer and they had a good selection to choose from. My husband got the Kling (light and crisp) and he really enjoyed it! I opted for a flight with the "here's your f***ing hefe" (Hefenweisen), tampa tubesday, zitrone, and their 4th anniversary barrel aged port beer. I loved all of them!! Be careful with that barrel aged - 11.4% abv! :) The bartending staff was quick and friendly. There is not a parking lot attached to the location itself, but there is one across the street beside the train tracks on the other side of the gated apartment parking lot.

While doing some brewery research on Tampa, I came across some information about Barriehaus. While seeing a friends play nearby, I finally got the chance to try it. And OMG, is this good.I will say before raving that this is not a brewery for everyone. There are no fruited sours, hazy IPAs, or Pastry Stouts in the mix. This is lager country, so you will find beer flavored beer here. But man is it good.After finding this spot, I took my Nashville drinking buddy here and he raved it was the best Pils he ever had in his life. Justin, from Roundtrip in Atlanta, asked where to go in Tampa. I told him Barriehaus. After the experience, he said he is considering moving to Tampa just for this brewery. If you like the lager styles, this is your spot. If you go, there is free parking right next to the train tracks across the street. Drive up Avenida Repu;lbica de Cuba half a block and turn right into the lot.

Great European lagers. They have things to eat but not huge entrees. Just things to munch on while drinking beer. Inside and outside seating available. Located in Unit close to main road. Would recommend.

Beer was very tasty, and the brewery was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Children were having fun petting the baby goats, and the adults were enjoying the German music and their beverages.It was necessary to stand in line at the bar to buy your beer, but the line moved relatively quickly. It was a one and done afternoon.They do have a tiny offsite parking lot that we were able to get a spot after numerous drive throughs.

Went here recently on our Pub Pass. What a great little German style pub/ brewery. Our server was very knowledgeable about the beer she was serving and quickly had us enjoying some great beer. We were able to try a few seasonal ales and a beautiful German pretzel. Overall we certainly would come back here again and would recommend it if you like German beer.

Of the 9 breweries we visited in the Tampa area, we saved the best for last. As the name would suggest, definitely has a traditional, German beer hall type vibe which I LOVE. The tap list consisted of slow pours, pilsners, kolschs, dunkels, etc. YES PLEASE! We came on a slow Monday evening and had a great time chatting with the staff. The beers were fantastic and we were bummed that we wouldn't be back for all of their 12 Days of Beermas releases. If traditional styles are your vibe, definitely recommend checking this place out!

Terrific beers in a nice cool indoor spot with soccer on the tv. Enjoyed the boiled peanuts, not as spicy as advertised, but quick to come out and prompts a fresh Bublina Pilsner.
