Wow ! Such a great place to grab some incredible barbecue . Really loved the warm welcome from staff and knowledge about the menu . Made choosing from the many options a breeze ! Couldn't decide between the mild and hot sauce so I'm glad you could mix . My favorite was the chicken and beans but everything I had was fantastic . You really get a lot of food which is a nice plus . Excited for the remodel to be done but the food truck style was fun because you could smell the bbq coming down the road much love !

The BBQ place located in a rough neighborhood. If you want find a good food and don't mind the place, this can be your adventure. King BBQ just off Armenia and I-275. There no place to sit. It is a to go place. You may not experience the full menu. It is what they are cooking at that day. Today they just have the regular rib and the chicken. The price is good for the meat you get. I got half slab regular ribs for $13. It fill the entire box. The middle low part of the rib was grilled to crispy and not burn. It is very tasty. They do have the BBQ sauce selection with mild, mixed or hot. I have them put the sauce on the side. Since this is full size rib not baby back, the half slab look big. The BBQ store is walk in and the grille just in front of you. You can see what you order. They will chop it for you for easy bite.

Obviously there is a reason this place is the Barbecue King. And it's not the seating..there isn't any. The hours.. Weds. - Saturday. It's the genuine wood smoked Barbecue. To-go. Takeout. They also do smoked chicken and various sides. And there were mino sweet potato pies from "a lady at church". Thisnis the real deal. The BBQ eas flavorful and delicious. I did the mild sauce and it was tangy and flavorful. My 8 month old daughter enjoyed the non-crusted part of the wronder bread and I used what she left me to sop up extra sauce. And there's a Googie place across the street if you want to play checkers.

This historic bbq establishment has always been just short trek from my childhood home. Every time I visit I'm always greeted by the stacks of freshly cut wood, aroma pit smoke and kindness from the cashier and pit-master. Although I usually know what I want beforehand, I never feel rushed. The sweet meat and tangy sauce are definitely a match made in paradise, don't forget to "sop" up the extra with the always included bread!Side-wise, both the macaroni & cheese, as well as the baked beans are in my top 5 and growing up in a Southern background, I've definitely had my fair share of good and bad.Ultimately, Bar-B-Que King has been in business even before I was a twinkle in my dad's eye and it's not by luck. I highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in town.

I still love this place after all these years. My sausage sandwich was so delicious with just the right amount of sauce as always & this was first yime trying the baked beans & I was very pleased with the amount they gave me...they were so delicious.

My first time having it was 2 weeks ago my friend brought it to me in hospital because I had taste for barbecue. It was very good. I'm very particular when it comes to potato salad but I have to say yours was good . The sauce is very good with little bit of spice I'll be trying you again soon

I am a southern woman soo for me good bbq is hard to find. I've been in Tampa for about 2 years now all of a sudden my husband and I decided to stop this bbq restaurant that we have passed a few times. First let me say that the customer service is AMAZING !!!! and the food was even better. We got half of a chicken with sausage, baked beans and potato salad. I can't wait until we go back we don't eat out much but we will make an exception for this bbq. There were a few not so positive comments on the location however, we had no issues and weren't expecting any. If you've never been to a restaurant outside of the suburbs/popular areas then you may be a little hesitant but don't let that deter you from a great meal, awesome service and friendly patrons.

One of my favorite childhood joints. The ribs are still tender and delicious. Friendly service and awesome sauce. I love my hood and my rib spot.

Excellent food !! Drinks were strong. Didn't look like much driving by. Then when we walked in. It was very nice setting. The food was da bomb!! Excellent!!! And I'm picky about food !!
