This is a straight forward diner style restaurant. The food all looks to be very authentic. I stopped in for lunch. The Thai coffee was good although very sweet. The lunch special is was a decent value for $12.95 coming with 2 choices from the menu with soup and a spring roll. The black pearl (smoked salmon) half roll and fish nigiri were okay.

Had myself a little date night earlier this week, and finally got to try Bangkok! I feel like I've tried every sushi place from the beach to the bay. Spent the day in St Pete at museums and ended up here for a late dinner. Service was good with the exception of waitress putting the other couples spring rolls on our check. We did try the spring rolls and they were very good, flavorful, crispy hit and a sweet dipping sauce. For your main entree you pick your protein, chicken, pork, beef, tofu or seafood them your sauce. They had several choices. I had pork with ginger sauce that came with a variety of fresh veggies and jasmine rice. It was good, my hubby had sweet and sour chicken which I liked better than my sauce. It too came with fresh veggies and the white rice and the chicken was not breaded so it was light for a sweet and sour. Other couple had the seafood with veggies and fried rice and a plain veggie mixture with the rice. We were all pleased with our choices.

Our worst dinner in DTSP. Walked in to a fairly empty restaurant which is always a red flag. The gentleman working as a host was very overwhelmed, and pointed to a table while mumbling something. After waiting 10 minutes without being recognized the same man popped up out of nowhere and asked for our order. Still no waters, or anything, so we put in an order: water, beer, apps, entrees. He seemed annoyed that he had to work. Oh well, as long as the food is good......ugh. My chicken was terrible. No flavor, no heat. And this was supposed to be a spicy chicken dish. Deep fried. More breading than chicken. Probably some of the worst food ever.

Came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint. The vibe is super chill. Their booths are comfy with a nice view of the sushi bar. We had a couple servers wait on us throughout our time there, so we felt quite taken care of as they were friendly and quite helpful, given us suggestions of their favorites and most popular dishes. We decided to do multiple courses, so we started with crab Rangoon and the shrimp dumplings! The Rangoon was made to perfection, so crunchy and the filling was delicious! Our shrimp dumplings were also fantastic! Hot, fresh and full of flavor! We then ordered the St. Pete roll and eel sashimi- WOW! The eel was so tender and delicious. The St. Pete roll is great if you're not a fan of raw fish, it's a savory roll that they bake and serve with the sushi pieces set flat and then topped with meat. So good! I'd like to point out the prices, VERY reasonable, especially in this economy- this makes for a very budget friendly dining experience.Afterward, we finished with a 'sexy combo' which is a half and half order of their sexy lady and spice girl. One is tuna and one is shrimp top with smelt roe. We were so impressed with everything and so happy we found this place. There was not a single thing we had that we didn't love! This was by far the best sushi we have ever had and we will absolutely be back! I highly recommend it!
