Back Draughts Pizza

Back Draughts has some of my favorite Buffalo cauliflower and wood fired pizza around. The Buffalo sauce on the cauliflower is not too spicy and I like the blue cheese crumbles served on it. We usually order a 10" pizza with pepperoni because the specialty pizzas do not have a combination of toppings that we enjoy. The flavor of the dough and sauce is some of my favorite. The sauce is not too acidic, a little sweet. And the dough is always soft. I would recommend adding a specialty pizza that would allow you to pick some toppings. By the time we order a 10" and add 3-5 toppings it becomes too expensive. I think that the Buffalo cauliflower should also come with a side of blue cheese dressing. We like the option of sitting outside and our service has always been great.

We've had Back Draughts Pizza at least four times now at both locations. It's fine. It's good. Beyond that, my issue is that it's extraordinarily expensive for pizza that's not significantly better than any other pizza available anywhere. The toppings aren't THAT amazing, and they're entirely too expensive for what you get. I just paid almost $20 for a SMALL Hibiscus pizza. EVOO, garlic, SHREDDED mozzarella, tomatoes, balsamic glaze, and spinach. It's good at the restaurant, but in my opinion, it doesn't travel well. I do love that it's wood-fired pizza, but I just don't think it's worth the hype.

My husband and I come here often. They have an awesome and different assortment of pizzas. Our favorite is the meatball ricotta. The chicken wings are also great as they have a light crisp without the breading. You can get with sauce or dry rub.It is also very nice as there is seating inside and outside.The only issue lately that I have noticed is that with the personal pizza the crust is coming out slightly over cooked. This is the only reason for the 4 stars.The service and all other aspects of the restaurant are amazing.

Excellent food. Great service. Good location & parking.We definitely want to try more of their flavors. The hibiscus pizza is really tasty! Their wings are crispy and flavorful. Nice selection of draft beers and craft cocktails.

My wife and I have been going here for several years and was our goto place for wings and pizza. Their wings are really good and the hibiscus pizza is great. With that said, their prices are out of control. 6 wings are now $13! Over $2 a wing. We ordered one large pizza, 6 wings each and two beers and our bill was $70. Again the food and people are great but I can't justify the price.

Heard a lot about the place and being new to the area I figured what the heck. Great location. Nice outdoor seating area as well. So I ordered the fried pickles which were ok, but undercooked to my liking. Needed another two minutes in the fryer. Now, for my pizza, I went with the personal size which was equivalent to two slices. Good size. Ordered meatball, pepperoni, basil and bacon.Meatballs were literally like shredded meatball crumbles. Pepperoni was commercial food service grade, not cupped, but thin and greasy. Bacon was more like bacon bits. I asked for a little hot honey drizzle as well.Not impressed with the pizza. Maker over did it with the honey. Pizza was sort of tasteless. Over-cheesed for my liking as well.Server was truly awesome! I would go back and try it without the honey.

Nice looking interior space. Plenty of room between the bar and seating areas. I was welcomed warmly when I came in and had a good experience with the wait staff. The meatballs were just ok. Not much flavor but has promise with some recipe refinement. The pizza dough was light and fluffy but was also just ok.

Stayed overnight at the Hacienda in downtown NPR. Fantastic little bar in Back Draughts Pizza. Good selection of american bourbons. very skilled bartender, easily passed my request for my favorite cocktail, a pre prohibition proper whiskey sour. He got eggs from the kitchen served just outstanding cocktails, check out the cap on the Gin Fizz. cheese curds, i think were from there) were excellent. The original site is in Tarpon Springs and is outstanding too.

Been here a few times, mostly good experiences and good pizza . This last time the margarita pizza was not good. Barely any cheese and sparse tomatoes, mostly sauce. It is brick oven pizza, but the bottom was burned and that all we good taste.I'm not saying it's terrible and you should not go there, just hoping it was a one-off.They have a beautiful patio that looks out toward Sims Park and its a nice place to enjoy pizza , but you might avoid the margarita.

pizza crust was floppy as heck --we ordered thin and crispy -Thin, crispy crust pizza will tend to hold itself when picked up--def did NOT hold at all --wings were ok - outside of wings looked great inside was gooey :( bar was ok as well , nothing spectacular - since when does does frangelico go in a simple white russian - destroyed the drink w overpowering sweetness, wish the food was better :( the other location in Tarpon has much better pizza !
