Babushka's

We had lunch here today. The menu so great that we had trouble deciding what to get. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. I love love love beets so the borscht was right up my alley! We also had semga buterborda that was very tasty...especially the salmon. My husband had the lamb plav and he loved it. We finished up the meal with the honey cake. We will definitely be back.

I was looking for lunch near me and i searched through door-dash and ordered Russian braised cabbage. The order was delivered in 20-25 minutes. The order was hot. The food was good. The only drawback was that the food was too much oily. I will try other options from the menu also.

Finally made it to Babushka's. The decor is a cosy lodge look. The staff was friendly. We sat at the bar versus a table. They have some interesting cocktails but we opted to try a Russian beer which was nice and refreshing. We ordered the salmon bruschetta which was simple but tasty. We also had the Beef Stroganoff which again was simple, the beef was tender but the dish needed a little more flavor. We will return to try the flight of house-made infused vodka.

I can't wait until it is fully opened!! Their menu is amazing, and as you can see by the picture, I couldn't even stop myself from eating long enough so I could take a good one. That should be a good sign in Yelp lol The food is authentic, the service is amazing, and the ambiance is just too cute to be true. The parking is a bit odd with some overflow parking behind the restaurant (but you have to continue to go through a small narrow alley).

This place was SO cool. The interior has greenery hanging from the ceilings, and the seating area has a cute lounge look. I also love the neon sign that says "from Russia with love", as soon as you walk in!For food, we ordered the Beef Stroganoff, a lamb chop dish that I don't know the name of, and the Beef Pelmini Dumplings. The Beef Stroganoff was probably a 3.5/5 due to the fact that I felt like it needed more flavor. It's basically pasta with shredded lamb in a gravy. My favorite meal was The lamp chop lollipop dish, which would score a 5/5 in my book! It came with mashed potatoes, and this amazing sauce. The Beef Pelmini dumplings were unique but tasty! These dumplings are similar to super tiny meat filled raviolis, and It came with a side of sour cream. There's a full bar so I had a dirty martini, then wrapped the night up with a Jasmine Tea. The tea came in this adorable teapot, and the display was so chic! Make your way over to Babushkas for a unique dinner experience, with authentic Russian Cuisines, and great energy!

Great meal. Went beyond our expectations. Lots of interesting foods to explore and we are hoping to return and try them soon.

I have a family of 5 and ordered the beef stroganoff, cheese and beef Samsa, mushroom blinchiki, and the veal dumplings. I ordered pickup and the food was hot and ready on time. Every dish was delicious and my children couldn't get enough of the Samsa's. The beef in my stroganoff was extremely tender and flavorful and we can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

A humble rustic decor gives you glimpses of Russia but lets the food be the real star, as it should be! We tried many dishes and there was not one that we didn't love! The beef stroganoff was so tender and the Kotlety was so flavorful! Our favorite desserts were the Napoleon cake and the sugar coma Blinchiki. And the sweet folks who own/run the restaurant are a bonus! Thank you Babushka for letting us have a picture with you, it helped us relive our memories of Moscow. If you're anywhere within an hour of Tampa (Temple Terrace), make time to go!! You will not be disappointed!!

Wow... very impressive Russian cousine. I am so glad to have stumbled across this warm, cozy little kitchen. Thd food was perfecrion!And a nice atmosphere.

Fantastic, authentic Russian food at good prices with an extremely friendly staff.I had the lamb plav, I would recommend it to anyone. A great stop for lunch or dinner after a day at Bush Gardens
