Skinny margarita? Yes please! I had two of them-and could have done a third! Nice job, bartender! I'll be back for more of those-and to try the margarita flight ($21 as of January 2025, with flavors that change often)I rolled in here after a very busy Wednesday off, around 3:30 pm. It's an odd time for restaurants-but also kind of great, since you can usually be seated quickly, which I was. There's a main dining area-a large bar with high tops and booth seating and a patio. I had a booth near the bar. The lighting was exquisite-so many types and they all made statements. There were also some stunning room dividers and murals. The decor is definitely immersive. You forget that you're at busy Brandin Exchange with the packed but convenient parking lot, not far away. My server was extremely nice. He was there immediately after I was seated. He was attentive and cheerful-but just one of the people who stopped by. The manager came and took my drink order, one woman came with chips and salsa-a second woman came with my second drink and at the end, a third woman came to ring me up. Maybe I was there during shift changes. Everyone was efficient-just interesting to meet so many. Anyhoo, I ordered the build your own enchiladas... opting for the chicken, with verde sauce. It came with rice and beans. I chose Mexican rice with black beans. I really enjoyed the meal. It was tasty and the flavors were balanced. It also didn't feel heavy, I'd definitely order this again. The chips were fine, but the salsa (I just got one-red), was too oniony for me (that's just me). Next time, I'll ask for the green salsa I've heard others mention. This Azteca D'Oro is the second location I've been to. A couple of years ago, I dined at the Lakeland restaurant and really enjoyed it. This one is pretty and clean. I'm eager to go back and try more entrees... and the queso intrigues me, too-but $11 seems high. We'll see. Maybe after I've caught up on Christmas bills, I'll give it a whirl. Cheers, everyone!

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The foodAnd service were great. Also the drinks were very good. If I lived in Brandon I'd come back and try something else. The ambiance is very nice and the restaurant is beautifully designed.

I was here for lunch time. The restaurant is 60% full. Consider this is already a good business. The restaurant has three sitting area, the bar, dining hall and patio. I select the high top close to TV. The service is slow in the beginning and the manager did come by ask me if I need anything before my waiter. I got the lunch special Carne Asada. The dish comes grilled jalapeño, fried bean, rice and guacamole salad. The meat is high quality even they are 5 oz small size. It cook perfectly with good taste. The pre-meal includes a heat up chip with salsa. The service pick up at the end.

Went here on a Friday at 6pm. We got in with little wait. The atmosphere is fun. There were four of us we shared table side guacamole which was phenomenal, and queso. I had the chicken soup which was like my grandfather made growing up in ybor city, corn, veggies, chicken. The others had, fajitas steak and shrimp, the burrito and the pick two, tostado and taco. The dragonfruit margaritas were the best! Everyone said their choice was on point, fresh, flavorful but not to spicy, we will be back.

This is one of my favorite places to pick up ceviche from in south Hillsborough County area. I believe I've been here twice in the last 45 days and it has not disappointed yet. They have a really great happy hour special, which is Monday through Saturday 3 to 6:30PM and all day on Sundays. The happy hour drinks are two for one and they are pretty strong.

Appetizers and drinks were pretty good; we had the cheese nachos, queso, guacamole. Guacamole is made table side and you can select your mix ins. Ordered the fried whole snapper for entree and it was way overcooked. You couldn't get into it with your fork. I think the only way to eat it would have been to break it apart with your hands and scrape the dry flakes off with your teeth, but I was at a work dinner and this would not have been possible.

I stopped in for lunch with my brother during the week to check out this restaurant. I was immediately impressed with the decor inside the restaurant. It was very beautiful and provided a vibrant scenery.The service was prompt and helpful explaining the dishes and the lunch specials. I decided to try the lunch special where you pick 2 entrees, like enchilada, taco and some other options with rice and beans included. The food was good but I felt the portions of rice and beans were a bit small but I still enjoyed everything. We also ordered the margarita flight which was fun to try the different flavors and gave us a little buzz. Overall we enjoyed everything and would visit again.

Really nice large location next and attached to the Brandon mall. First time at this location and it did not disappoint.First off walking in to a cool tequila display and the front desk. Large bar area that is both inside and outside.We sat outside because it was nice out and the outside area is completely covered.The wife and I shared a margarita flight. If you cant choose what to flavor just get the flight as it has 4 different flavors and it comes with a sparkler!On to the macho burrito... this thing is big and I love it. Got it with chicken. It has all the topping to make it creamy and savory at the same time. If you are a small eater I would consider sharing this.Great experience and great service will come back again!

This place is Beautiful!!!!! Awesome location for groups and families. Love the decor, the friendly and personable staff and presentation of the entrees that we ordered. We ordered the fajita sampler, that included shrimp, steak and chicken with corn or flour tortillas. Absolutely uniquely flavorful and delicious, you can taste the HOURS of marinade in the meat and smell the amount of preparation that went into each item on the skillet. The taste is different but authentic, smoky, rustic with a kick of cilantro. Spicy but not overpowering, juicy but not too greasy. Amazing experience, looking forward to many more

Pros: free chips & salsa (mild & medium salsa were good), great food presentation, good kids menu options, very cool ambience with live mariachi band but extremely deafening from where we were sitting in the restaurant (so loud that u cant order or talk to anyone at your own table)Cons: food was mediocre, very blandWe didn't have drinks so cant speak to that but maybe this is one of those places for drinks and desserts instead.. they seem to have a margarita flight that changes regularly.. that could be fun
