Aviators Tavern

This pub is such a good time! Even when you come by your self the bar tenders make you feel at home which is nice for those who travel often. I stay at the holiday inn there all the time and the reason I do is specifically because of this pub. Alicia is absolutely amazing!! She works so hard to please everyone and keep them all happy and her drinks are perfect! The rest of the crew is amazing too (Anthony, Sean, Bruce). The food is good and the drinks are pretty affordable. They have karaoke and comedy shows here and there too. Local beers and tons of TV screens!

Man, I don't hand out 1 star reviews often or lightly, but this place blows. The service was lame, the food was below average and the wait time was excessive. 4:30 PM on a Saturday evening. The bar was fairly busy with folks drinking and one other person eating. We bellied up, ordered 2 brews, an order of mild chicken wings and a medium classic burger, which was just meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. I wanted a different burger, but the prices were crazy high. The basic freaking classic burger was $10.50. After 20 minutes of waiting, we asked where our food was. The bartender went to check on it and returned roughly five minutes later. Unapologetic, he handed us our food. I cut my burger in half, and the damn thing was beyond well done, but since we were in a bit of a rush and hungry, I just ate the thing. First bite was crunchy because the edges of the burger were actually burnt. Nothing made up for the $10.50 price either. It wasn't a particularly large burger, it was dry, there was little-to-no seasoning and the bun was far from fresh. I mean, it's been a really long time since I felt so gypped. I ate half, got the rest to go and we bounced. I would have mentioned the ill-cooked burger had the bartender ever came back around to ask how the food was.Seriously, I wouldn't recommend eating here. There are much better options nearby, like Burger King and Moe's.

I've been here a total of 3 days.The first day I had a Reed Donkey APA Draft & Cheese QuesadillaThe second day I had Maduro Brown Draft & Cheese QuesadillaThe third day I had Jai Alai Draft, Invasion IPA Draft, & Fish Tacos.The Cheese Quesadilla's were very good. They were very flavorful. The Fish Tacos I felt had no flavor at all. All I tasted was water. The service was good. The one day it was busy there was only one person on a random Monday. He still got the food out in a reasonable time.I mean it's a bit pricy and the menu is limited, but it's a Hotel Tavern. You can't expect 5 pages to a menu.

Really good food, friendly staff but a bit pricey for what you get. The hours are very limited but the location is convenient if you are HDI guest

The food came out fast and it was delicious. My burger was cooked to perfection (medium) and the wings were tasty. The mashed potatoes could have used a little more love, they were bland and unseasoned but nothing a little salt couldn't fix.

Omg Moe is an amazing chef! I wasn't craving for any food but a local told me her cooking was Bomb! I wanted to try something but wasn't in the mood for anything on the menu. We asked her if she could make nachos and she came out w a basket of nachos to die for. Steak, cheese, tomatoes and onions. Thanks for an amazing dish Moe! You da bomb

Love this place! When the east coast bartenders can make a west coast drink! They totally perfected on first try a cactus cooler!

As I walked through the lobby starving and tired after a day at the races I looked around desperate for respite. The closest place to feed lied in a hotel bar full of friendly coastguards in uniform. I looked at the menu and instantly thought it was overpriced, but if you charge over ten bucks for a basic burger across from Burger King it's gotta be good. Ordered wings as well and proceeded to wait half an hour. After missing the sunset and drinking lots of beer, it was all crappy. Never coming back, and now have an active hatred of this place. Sooo disappointed. Why did I pick this spot with all the amazing places nearby?! You know what took so long? They had to overcook the burger to a crisp. Burger King, here I come!

We were looking for some bar food and thought this place would fit the bill....nope! We waited for over an hour for our food that can our cold. The service was horrible - one server for the whole room who also helped at the bar.Should have known when I saw it was connected to the holiday inn
