Asian Wok was such a pleasant surprise! I ordered the bourbon chicken with fried rice, and my husband tried the shrimp and chicken General Tso's Delight with fried rice. We kicked things off with the chicken Rangoon appetizer, and everything came out freshly cooked and full of flavor. The portions were generous, although my husband's dish had a bit of an odd balance--lots of entrée but not much rice. This cozy spot is truly a family-run gem. The mom and dad handle the cooking in the kitchen, while their son and daughter manage the front as waitstaff. Both kids were incredibly polite and attentive, which made the experience even better. With great food and such warm service, we're looking forward to coming back soon!

Ordered lunch at the office and had my friend pick it up. 2 things that are hard to achieve with fast food:1) my food was still hot at the end of the meal, I love that2) my general tso chicken was actually spicy and flavorful and not plain like some other places have become. Will definitely be back!

Everything!Maybe the owners brother in law was cooking but horrible for $20.00. I don't usually complain but this was so egregious on so many fronts that I had to say something!

This establishment significantly surpasses the standard fare offered by typical Chinese takeout restaurants. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the flavors are exceptional. As a family-run business, the service is consistently reliable.I highly recommend this establishment.

Very good Chinese, better than everything else in the neighborhood. Not overly greasy and quality ingredients. I got the general Tso's with fried rice. The chicken was freaking amazing! Super crispy just how I like it- as for the sauce it was thick and just the right amount of spicy. The fried rice thought it was perfectly cooked was disappointing only due to the fact that it did not carry carrots and onions and peas. Also, a small amount of egg and the pork just sat on top..The egg roll- lightly fried, was crispy and flaky and Very nicely packed! A very nice size!! The beef Lomein was also good, could used a bit more cabbage and onion for flavor but overall satisfactory! The restaurant was also very clean and the workers and very friendly. My order was ready extremely fast . Will come back soon!!

Food is always hot and made to order! Very nice customer service. I took my husband there for the first time a few months ago, we stayed there to eat it. The chef came over to ask us how was everything, great food and experience at this restaurant....from then this is the only place he wants to go for this type of food. I definitely recommend Asian Wok

We tried this little place for the first time 7 months ago, on the night before I entered a clinical trial at the Moffitt Cancer Center. We were seated by the hostess, who was the owners' middle-school-aged daughter and served by their high-school-aged son. The owners worked the kitchen. For a little hole in the wall place in a shopping center, the menu was large and varied. We ordered hot and sour soup, General Tso's chicken, and a side of fried rice on that night, and all were perfectly prepared. The portions were large for the reasonable price. After traveling extensively in China, we realize that the concept of authentic Chinese food in the USA is difficult. The basic ingredients are just different here. But at Asian Wok, the food was as close to authentic as you can find. At the end of our first visit, we opened our fortune cookies, and mine said "One cannot choose how one will die. One can, however, choose how one will live." Pretty smart cookie, IMO. We return now frequently when I have treatments at Moffitt, and have not been disappointed. The little family who operate the place work hard and live the American Dream. For those who post nasty one-star reviews over a single bad experience, I recommend taking a step back and getting some perspective. I have no doubt that your meal did not meet your expectations, but look at the long hours these nice folks put in 7 days a week and maybe try to exercise a more generous spirit.
