Rotisserie / Smoker was busy twirling with chickens. They were loading other meats on the right side of the smoker.
The menu on the wall behind the counter is for the old restaurant. The new menu is *ON* the counter next to the cash register.

Located on Armenia between Waters and Sligh this place has one purpose for me and that is rotisserie chicken to-go. They currently charge $18 per chicken. There is indoor and outdoor dining, the staff is non-descript but the chicken is tasty, plump and juicy. They make a decent chicken and since that is I've ever bought over the years, my review ends here.

We came to this restaurant mainly because we were curious to try the meats grilled on the outside, gaucho style, open flame charcoal grill. They were not cooking out there when we arrived (~1pm on a Saturday) but by the time we left we could see they were firing up the grill. The server told us they usually start the grill up a bit earlier on Sunday. Overall we really enjoyed our meal here. We started off with a beef empanada which was flavorful, the beef was shredded and the shell had a nice corn flavor but it tasted a bit stale. We then had a bandeja paisa ($17) and a large pork rib platter ($22). The bandeja came with a slice of fried pork belly, instead of pork rind, which is very different from all other Colombian restaurants we've had this dish at and absolutely delicious. It has to be one of the best bandeja paisa we've had in Tampa so far. The pork ribs were large, not too meaty though, and the meat itself was not very tender although very flavorful. The rib platter comes with two sides, we decided to try the "red salad" which is made with sliced carrots and beets in a light mayo and lime dressing. The salad was ok but it wasn't very cold at all and it was missing a bit of citrus, perhaps even some chopped onion and cilantro.

Fantastic Columbia coal and wood fire roasted food! We went for lunch on a Tuesday and it was not busy yet the server was attentive and polite. This was our first Columbian experience and the server was so kind and helped us navigate the menu. They gave excellent recommendations. We had the grilled salmon with fried plantains and salad as well as the chicken fajitas that came with rice and black beans. Highly recommend!

Very good. Convenient and fast service. It's a clean nice little place. I came here trying to find Sopa de Rez and they had a great sopa. It was truly 4/5 for the soup. I'm from Salvador so trying to find that authentic taste is very difficult! I'm very picky with my hispanic food but i think this place really hit the spot. The chicharrón was cooked a bit different but it was still good! We also ordered arepa, empanadas and Milk based fruit juices! Those were fantastic 5/5 i love my natural milk fruit juices!

A friend recommend this place. I orders 1/2 Chicken which was being freshly prepared on an open flame Charcoal flame. The Chicken arrived and it was seasoned to perfection with some great burn skin and super juicy chicken. This was just heavenly Ibalso order the Steak, and ribs, rice and red beans, plantains, small whole potatoes, and arepas. To finish off I had a traditional Colombina soft drink. I drove 4hr to get here and I am gladeI did. If I am ever in the Tampa area this definitely going to be my pit stop.
