Aroy Thai and Sushi

Only tried their Salmon Avocado rolls and there was literally no flavor to them whatsoever. I'm honestly not sure how fresh the fish was. I couldn't eat nearly half of what I ordered since there was wasabi touching them and I can't have that. The only nice thing about it was they made the carrot a pretty flower. Would not order again.

This is a small hole in the wall Thai spot. We were excited to try it but the flavors left something to be desired. The crab rangoons were delicious and had plenty of filling for the size. Pricing was on point. The pad Thai didn't seem to have any fish oil or oyster sauce. Very sweet and zero spice. Would not recommend to someone that wants a traditional pad Thai. Very Americanized. The red curry on the other hand was missing that sweet coconut milk flavor. More of a bitter salty tomato flavor. Our server was wonderful and overall the experience wasn't terrible. We wouldn't go back though due to the flavors.

There is not one bad thing I can say about this place. Service was wonderful. Our waitress was just a gem and very attentive. The restaurant is small but cozy. And the food was all absolutely delicious. We started with edamame and steamed dumplings. Both were served piping hot and fresh, and very tasty. I liked the dumplings especially because they had a large amount of filling to noodle. Usually it's much more noodle than filling, but this was plump full of meat. I ordered the seaweed salad to start. I've never had a seaweed salad with marinated cucumbers on the bottom, but it added a nice touch. The whole thing was delightful. Whatever dressing they used was light and fresh. I ordered a rainbow roll and was extremely happy with it. The pieces were very large and there were huge chunks of fresh fish on each one. The roll was light but also very filling. Everyone else in our party got hot Thai dishes and raved about them. I did get to try a piece of the duck and thought it was extremely tender and cooked perfectly, and I'm not normally a big duck fan. I would definitely get that next time I come. Even the kids we had with us devoured the food. It was beautifully presented, fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. I think this is definitely the best Thai restaurant in the area.

We tried this Thai place with a friend due to her suggestion! While the outside is not impressive, the food and service inside are. Jay waited on us and her mother made the delicious meals!Our friend requested the authentic menu which was provided. It's all in Thai so I can't really report what we ordered. We ordered a lot though and enjoyed every single dish! Jay really was wonderfully gracious and let us chat and enjoy ourselves plus take some pictures and videos. No problem! The spice tray had four kinds of spices to kick things up a notch. The homemade chili sauce was our favorite!If you want the real thing, this is the place! Life is good with authentic Thai food hidden in western St Pete.

I have been looking for a Thai place since my old place closed several years ago. Pad Thai is my dish and I feel like, if you can make this well, everything else should fall in place. I have been to many Thai restaurants that are average at best and while I can dress it up, it just makes me miss my old place more. This restaurant is family owned and operated. Some of the best restaurants I have been to have been family owned. When I saw this place and pictures of the food the grilled squid caught my eye and I was excited to try it. When we got there we ordered the grilled squid and chicken pad thai. The squid was amazing and my wife couldn't get enough of the dipping sauce. When we got the pad thai it reminded me of my old place but this one may have been a little better. The service was great and attentive, I believe our server was the daughter. Overall an awesome experience! On the way home my wife and I were planning our next visit! lol!

The food was ok but definitely caters to the American palate. Lots of global traveling allowed me to experience authentic food, including Thai. I was excited to try this restaurant out but was left disappointed. The presentation was nice but lacked authentic flavor. The red curry lacked the coconut milk flavoring and the beef was rubbery. The pad Thai had no fish or oyster sauce. Its sweetness overpowered everything and distracted from the complexity the plate deserved. The only redeeming item was the crab rangoon; very light cream cheese made it a pleasant starter.

We have ordered from here before and it was okay, but it's been a while. Ordered today and while my wife's curry was good the pad Thai was the worst that I have ever gotten, it tasted over cooked and extremely salty. We won't be going back...

Really disappointing. I went with a few people and we had mixed reactions. I had the amazing honey peanut chicken and was expecting it to be like pra ram but the peanut sauce was so watery you could see it separating and it looked like it was maybe mixed with corn starch giving it a strange consistency. I could only have a few bites. Someone else had pad see ew and it wasn't good either. From what I heard the curries and beef stew were pretty good so you have to get your order right here.

My brother recently moved into this area so his kitchen was not yet unpacked fully so I ordered here two nights in a row. This first night I enjoyed the pad Thai with ToFu and the order was ready for pickup when I arrived just ten minutes later. Great staff there and plenty of customers inside which is a great sign. The portion was very satisfying and I had enough for lunch the next day. Very happy !The next night we had family in town for a visit so I had brought back menus for my brother and everyone picked their favorites. Again the service was speedy and the staff friendly. They asked if I was new in the area as they remembered me from the previous night !
