Apna Bazar has become our go-to grocery store, especially when it comes to buying meat. The quality of the meat is consistently fresh, and the store offers it in generous quantities, which is perfect for our family's needs. Whether you're stocking up for a big meal or just doing your regular shopping, the freshness and availability of their meat section make it a top choice. In addition to meat, Apna Bazar is well-known for its extensive selection of grocery items catering to the Asian community, particularly for those seeking authentic ingredients in Tampa. From spices and grains to snacks and specialty foods, they carry a wide variety of products that can be hard to find in other stores. This makes it a great destination for anyone looking to recreate traditional dishes at home. The service at Apna Bazar has always been excellent. The staff is friendly, approachable, and always willing to assist. Whether we're inquiring about a specific product or need help finding something, the staff has been consistently helpful and knowledgeable. This level of customer service makes the shopping experience even more pleasant.Another standout feature of Apna Bazar is its in-store café, where they serve freshly made halal food. It's a convenient option for those who want to grab a quick bite or enjoy a meal after shopping. The café offers a variety of delicious dishes that reflect the same quality and authenticity found in their grocery items.Overall, Apna Bazar offers a fantastic combination of fresh meat, a wide range of Asian grocery products, and a convenient café with freshly prepared halal food. It's a one-stop-shop for anyone looking for authentic groceries and a great shopping experience in Tampa.

I finally made it out to Apna Bazaar and it was a real treat! It is a large market stocked with lots and lots of goodies from Pakistan, Turkey, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, and the United States. They specialize in the cuisine of Muslim areas and have Halal offerings prepared in accordance with religious rules. The had a guy taking Turkish bread fresh out of the oven and a Pakistan i/ Indian restaurant in the front. They have loads of snacks and spices. Cooking utensils. Beverages including non-alcoholic brews. Sweets such as date and coconut cookies.I saw camel milk which seeks interesting. Lots of cheeses. Milk beverages (the mint is rich and creamy). People were friendly and accommodating to me. I know their is a sizable international community at USF and there are lots of international food grocers and eateries in this area on Fowler. MD Market is a couple blocks away for Chinese / Taiwanese and East Asian foods. Patel Brothers for Indian is across the street. There is a Korean Grocer and lots of ethnic restaurants in the area.I had lots of fun visiting and found lots of things to try at reasonable prices. I wonder if they have Turkish cotton candy? Don't try it or you'll be hooked. Armenian / Syrian string cheese is great too.I will be back!!!

Stopped here's tonight after eating at Potillos. It's sign says International Bazaar so we had to check it out. Once inside it looks like a Middle Eastern grocery store for the most part with a small restaurant and little shops selling various home goods, clothing and a whole section for hookah supplies. It's a good size market with a great selection of fresh and frozen foods and unique things that can be hard to find. We did buy a few things but will certainly be back when we are needing to stock up. I held back one star because some of the prices were a little higher than surrounding stores but all in all we liked it.

They're back to being my favorite Pakistani food place in Tampa Bay. New chef doing great with Beef Nihari, Haleem and Chapli kababs. Huge naans. Samosas are tasting terrific fresh authentic dough and filling last time I tried, I ate all 4 of em Not an ambiance or date nite place. Order at the counter, they bring it to the table. Prices great for the quantity, bigger to go containers. Order food, get groceries and Desi stuff all in one place. Rehmet e shireen sweets from Karachi in the refrigerated section. Just love it.

Cashier customer service is very bad. The menu says on the bottom disclaimer "If you have food allergy or dietary requirement please inform the kitchen" but when I asked about my allergy he frowned and said the chef is too busy and I don't know what you mean! I asked again for the chef and a lady came out that seemed annoyed and I think she answered my question. I don't recommend this place of you have allergies or looking for decent service.

Even if you don't know what you want from Apna, just come here to get inspired. Sometimes, that's just what you need, a little inspiration... right?I visit here for a few reasons, other than just the obvious inspiration:1. Quality produce at a decent price. Sometimes you will find a really good deal. Like today, I got a pristine watermelon for $3.99. Breadfruit, huge knobs of ginger, ripe avacado, mango, roma tomatoes, kabocha, bunches of green onion, eggplant-- just some of the items that I found today also.2. Ready-made/frozen breads- Fresh, soft Turkish breads, stuffed breads, and frozen naan, dosa, and paratha are a must. 3. Spices - So many spices and meal idea spice packs to choose from. Just walking down the spice aisle gives me so many meal ideas. 4. Frozen meals- Also, a great place for ideas. The vegetarian options being my favorite, even though I'm not vegetarian.5. Sweets section- by the entrance there are racks and racks of baklava and other sweets that I end up buying almost every visit. Anything pistachio...It's also quite fun to walk around the housewares section and see all of the cool cookware and home items. There is also a huge tea section.

Gouken: What do you see in front of your fist?Ryu /Ken: My fateDan: This delicious tandoori chicken!Gouken: You are henceforth banished from this dojo!DAN: Nooooo! OYAJIIII (Father!)This review is applicable to the Apna Grill inside the grocery.I ordered 2 items for takeout. You go to the cashier and give them your order and then wait at the seats. My order took about 20 minutes. There are 4-5 tables spread out if you want to dine in. They were wearing masks when I went.Garlic Naan - ($3). These were hot and fresh. They were cut into halves (Semicircles). Great garlic taste and soft! They were comparable to Jai ho on fowler (and most Indian restaurants in the vicinity) 4/5Mixed Grill ($17) - This is a mixture of meats. Tandoori Chicken x2, Chicken Boti (Boneless), and Seekh Kabab (x4). It was garnished with onion/lettuce, and tomato slices. It also came with a light green yogurt mint sauce for dipping. the food was medium spicy and was filling. 4/5Cons: The second tandoori piece was really two small fragments of chicken and IMO the price was a bit much. I think $13-14 would have been fair. Nonetheless, it was a satisfying meal for a small cafe that is not a dedicated restaurant.

Had a really delicious meal from here. Prices were a bit high but I am overall very happy with the shish kebab I got. My friends all ordered meals as well and liked what they got. The butter naan was perfect!

Went inside to have some Indian snacks and ordered Samosa Chaat and french fries along with Mango lassi. In the scale of 1-5 1 being low and 5 being high, I rate it 1. The samosa chaat was so bad and cold. The fries they were frozen and air fried. With no salt sprinkled. It was the worse. Threw away everything and came off. One gentleman said you don't know if they serve you chicken or beef so be careful. The food area was not clean, the store was as well. No proper maintenance.I would not recommend going back here.
