Note, this review is for the food truck. Not, the new restaurant storefront. The food is just alright with great branded packaging. However, I cannot justify paying $13 for a cardboard box with one scoop of white rice and six wings. I was so thrown off by the price when I received the food that I actually lost my appetite. Apparently, everyone else thinks that their food is excellent, so maybe there is something wrong with me.

This was my absolute favorite place to go for double fried Korean wings and bulgogi when they had the physical restaurant. We would go two or three times a month. Service was always excellent. My only complaint now is that they only have the truck, and I don't see anywhere that posts the trucks location. I'm bummed that I can't get my favorite Korean wings anymore,

This food truck live up their name as Gastrotruck. The Korean cuisine is exquisite. I have a chance to visit this truck due to festival. During the Tampa Japanese Summer Festival, their truck is one of the food truck show up. Their menu is simple, Kaarage $10, Chicken Teriyaki $8, Okonomi Tot $10, and the Gyudon for $11. All this is actually Japanese street food. I am appreciate they try to change their cuisine just for the festival. In fact, those dishes is quite good and colorful display. We got the Kaarage. This dish is chicken marinated in sake and soy sauce then deep fried with coating. They are quite good. The accompanying slaw also good. What a treat. It come with 5 big pieces chicken. The order to wait for the food is less than 5 minutes. They have enough man power for the food preparation.

I'm visiting from Baltimore and was craving good Korean food--FOUND IT. My boyfriend and I went to the new storefront location that opened about a month ago. The tacos were loaded with bulgogi, kimchi, and avocado and were soooo juicy. I'm drooling just thinking about them My boyfriend got the bulgogi and wings combo which was also delicious. The staff are super friendly and served us very quickly:) everyone was wearing masks and socially distancing. It's such a pleasure to find and support high-quality small businesses during the pandemic!

Ate here a couple months ago when they were at a tiny house festival. The food was so good! I forget what they called the dish I got; it was tater tots, bulgogi beef, with kimchi, some delicious Korean sauces, and green onions. My gosh it was SO TASTY! Everything was made to order, which makes me super happy. And so, so fresh tasting. They do offer tofu for all you vegans out there, which is a big plus!I will definitely be on the lookout you guys next time I am craving Korean food!

Everything is good! Having lived in Korea for several years, I'm partial to Korean dishes and Anju does them well. They've got just the right amount of savory and spice in their dishes. The bibimbap is my favorite, however, the tacos are a very close second. Both are served in very generous portions and topped with homemade sauces that will leave you wanting more. MeeAe, the chef/owner, makes her own Kimchi which is the best I've had outside Korea. The restaurant serves a diverse menu that's both Korean, and PanAsian fusion so they've got something for everyone. I also enjoy the KFC which comes in both sweet and spicy options. Would definitely recommend giving Anju a try!

Very good Korean food! They came to my work and even though they had a very long and kind of slow line...the food was great!! I ordered the combo bowl which brings K pops (fried chicken), bulgogi, rice and slaw. The chicken was perfect!! Juicy and crispy. I wish it had more sauce, so I'll order extra if I see them again.Update: I went back today and it seems they raised some prices. I also felt like there wasn't that much meat. The food is still good but $12 for a lunch that is mostly rice is too much for me. :(

This truck just came to my workplace and it was delicious! I avoided it last time because I was trying to be more healthy, but gosh darn it, sometimes you've got to splurge! I'm glad I did. I was really tempted to get the tots, which come with bulgogi beef (thin sliced, sesame sauce marinated) because it had all sort of radical toppings, but I went for the combo instead. The combo includes fried chicken bites tossed in a sweet sauce aside bulgogi beef, sticky rice and a chicken egg roll on top. It was $12 and a pretty hefty lunch. I would definitely eat at this truck again! I love Korean food!

I recently went to the Pinellas Park Wings and Brew event, and Anju was one of the three trucks we tried wings from and bar far my favorite. They had a steady line and kept things moving well; it only took a few minutes for my food to be prepared.I ordered the K.F.C (Korean Fried Chicken) it was a nice sized portion of six crispy fried wings and sticky rice. The wings were AMAZING, crunchy and still moist they were topped with their St Pete Sweet and Spicy Sauce. It was the right balance of sweet and hot, it was sticky and delicious, and the chopped peanuts added a nice crunch.I hope I see them around the city again, more great food to try!

Oh boy, Anju Korean Gastrotuck has something special! I visited them mid-week around lunchtime when they were downtown St. Petersburg at Williams Park. The menu looked really good and it was a tough decision between their chicken and beef. Luckily, they had a lunch combo special which included their Korean Bulgogi beef AND their Fried Chicken bites with sticky rice and asian slaw. Score! The boneless chicken bites were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside-cooked perfectly. And the Soy Garlic sauce they were cooked in...so good. The Bulgogi was tender and spiced well with no excess fat and was also delicious. The Asian slaw was very light and had a nice subtle ginger taste. If you see this truck, give them a chance to wow you! Thanks A.K.G. for a great meal!
