Amigos Meat Market

Many years ago, before spanish colmados and bodegas started popping up like mushrooms on a damp pasture, this was my go to shop for latino products. Not much has changed in this crowded market.Every inch of space is used in this store that offers fresh, refrigerated and frozen products. There is a meat market that provides beef, chicken and pork fresh cut. Other products from lamb to goat and seafood are frozen. Shelfs are laden with all you need to prepare spanish food.These days my needs are met elsewhere except for one thing. I like the whole Leg of Goat and most places only have it cut up. I use it for my homemade Quesabirria tacos.

Great little Neighborhood Latin grocery and meat market. Lots of hard to find items for cooking your favorite latin and Caribbean dishes. Wonderful fresh produce section, just gorgeous! Meat market has a wide selection meats, and some pre-made or pre-seasoned meats, like breaded ready to cook Palomilla steak. Prices are great too! House made Chicharrones too! I stopped in for a Picanha, since I hate running out of it... one of my favorite cuts of meat!
