Aladdin Mediterranean Grocery

First time in this small grocery. Had a couple things that wanted for some recipes. Great place and very helpful. Very small but think the owner would connect you with any Mediterranean dish needs. I recommend highly.

Nice, small store, very clean, lots of parking outside. Emad, the owner, is very friendly. The strip mall is a bit old, but don't let it steer you away from the store... it's very clean, with somewhat limited selections of canned & bottled products to spices & frozen meats, like goat & lamb, if that's to your style of cooking.I only needed 1 item, but left with 6... rose water, toasted sesame seeds, semolina, bay leaves... some items I can find at larger markets, but his prices are better. I'd bypass the teas as most are loose in cardboard boxes... not the best for potent, fresh leaves & I have no way of knowing how long they've been on the shelf.Some of the products he has require hunting high & low around larger stores to find... I often never find them... so I often give up as it takes too long. Ordering online, like Amazon... wow, the prices are a lot more... so, I'm glad I found this place... by accident, when visiting the P.O. next door. I'll return from time to time... I live further away & work long hours. He has some nice coffee/tea pots one would use to "cook" on the back of the stove, like our grandmas used to do, no matter our culture. I might give it a go, depending on cost. Emad also said he has more coming in & in addition, he can order things we'd need, if not currently available in-store.No fresh produce, but we can find that in larger markets... this place is good for harder to find products, catering to those who want Mediterranean ingredients. I'll be back for rose water & a few miscellaneous things, but since I don't often eat frozen/canned goods, I'll still find a market for the bulk of my shopping.Solid 4* out of 5.

I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE THIS PLACE! I would always drive by on my way to and from work and I finally stopped in to check it out and although it is small, there is all the staples you need for authentic Mediterranean food. Turkish yogurt was amazing and I used it with the red lentils to make a delicious hummus recipe and this place has tamarind and apricot paste too!! I cant even find that at Publix. I highly recommend!

Best place in north Pinellas to get fresh baked pita bread and Mediterranean goods. The owner is very friendly and informative.

This is the cleanest and best little neighborhood Mediterranean market. Yummy flat breads, feta's, desserts, hummus, etc.... and they are super friendly

The shop owner Emad was courteous and most helpful. My wife is Egyptian and was THRILLED to be able to find all the familiar Arabic grocery items she was looking for so far from home. A great, clean and well organized store. Will definitely go again!

Very welcoming couple. Always greet with a smile, made recommendations for different foods to try. Clean store with uncluttered aisles.

I discovered Aladdin Mediterranean Grocery next door to Ferisa's Smoothie Cafe off of US 19 just after Curlew before heading toward Countryside Mall.I grew up near Dearborn Michigan so i am pretty spoiled as to what I expect to find in a Mediterranean grocery store and was extremely glad that I ventured in. Aside from the things I bought, they had Halal meats and Lurpak butter, great selection of refrigerated items that I couldn't pick up this time since I wasn't going home afterwards. So I'll be going back.
