Wanted to pick up some Greek groceries that are not available near my house. They had everything I needed. The staff was super pleasant and guided me through a few questions that I had. Will go back and shop again there for sure.My chicken souvlaki and horiatiki came out amazing :).

Great place for Greek style groceries. I was doing a search in Tarpon Springs and this store came up and Acropolis Meat & Deli. This food market has a variety of frozen as well as other greek items - pastries, pastas, sauces, coffee, tea, candy etc.I didn't buy anything, but I was looking at their seasonings. There's two other stores on the Sponge Docks where I like to look at their Seasonings collections. One is at Spiceman's Kitchen. I can't remember the name of the other place at opposite end.

OMG I am so glad to have found this Greek Store. We just moved from CA and I was always able to purchase French feta from a little market nearby. with Thanksgiving coming, all I could do is crave feta and olives - authentic feta and olives and by gosh they had it all! Greek feta, French feta, Bulgarian feta, and one other type. I love Greek feta, but the French feta is so creamy and it is just such a treat. They also have several different types of olives - I went with the pitted kalamata olives and boy were they good. The store is filled with so many great items, I could have spent all day in there. Can't wait to go back and purchase more items - plus the trip to Tarpon Springs is always so great as they have so many shops and restaurants - Hellas being my favorite as the avgolemono and pastitsio are point on! Thank you so much Agora Food Market - you now have a new lifetime customer. Oh, and the staff is wonderful as well.

If any store deserves the "rating of Caveat Emptor" (sp), this is the epitome. I recently purchased what was supposed to be Manouri cheese and Feta cheese. What a surprise and what a rip-off !!!NOT MANOURI AND NOT FETA.i have since not shopped there anymore and have discouraged many others as well not to shop there. My advise to others is to shop at Greek Boys Choice Foods on Anclote Road (about 2 miles down the road). Better quality and better pricing. Seek and you will find. The rating for this business is Negative 5 out of 5 !!!

My family's favorite Greek Grocery store in Tarpon Springs. They have all your Greek Needs right here. From a variety of Greek Cheeses, Olives, coffee, Greek honey, paximathia, imported beer & wine, ION chocolate and more. I love that they have the Real Greek Wild Oregano still on the branches for you to pick off & crush as needed. The oil from the oregano is better preserved this way. The scent stays strong and it's so flavorful. It's the best! They have KYKNOS canned tomato paste which is a staple in my house. The flavor is really rich and makes food extra delicious. I can keep going , but I don't need to repeat what was already said in the other reviews. It's a very active store so everything you buy here will be fresh, and has not been sitting on the shelves forever. Come here for your Greek needs. The owners are very nice, and helpful, and the place has A/C. (Not all stores in Greek town do) That's a big deal on the hottest summer days!

LOVE THIS STORE Family run Greek market with a fantastic selection of hard to find items. Located in the Tarpon sponge docks area, minutes from downtown. You can find specialty groceries items such as cheeses, spices, frozen foods, etc. An entire wall of olive oil and another of wines give you selection for days! Products are fresh, and the spices are amazing. They also have high quality soaps and chocolates too, in case you want to treat yourself. I regularly drive from Clearwater to Tarpon just to shop here then take advantage of the location and walk on the docks afterwards. The store staff are amazing people. Helpful and know the products well. And the prices are very reasonable! Especially if you take into account that some of the items are incredibly difficult to find, or priced to death at other stores. I'm looking at you, Whole Foods!

A very nice, very authentic, little store selling traditional Greek and Levantine foodstuffs. They have a vastly comprehensive selection of olive oils, pastas, chocolates (leans more Turkish and general European than just Greek) coffees, and other goods for cooking Greek food. Olives, spices, of course, and even soap--basically everything Greek you would need for the kitchen and to an extent, for the greater household. Contrary to what other reviewers stated, I found the staff very helpful and aware that tourists would venture in and their customers would not be limited to locals. They seemed friendly and helpful to all.
