Affordable Catering

I have had two experience in the past with this catering company. First one was back in 2019, they were hire by my apartment complex to prepare a Mother's Brunch for residents and their mother's.Second one was for my wedding. I decided to go with them expecting the same experience but this was not the case at the end. My husband, fiancé at the time, and I went to the testing, Jennifer took care of us and we expressed our menu was going to be pork-free and it was reflected in our options, chicken and steak. About a month before the wedding they changed the contact person as Jennifer left the company. This cause a great deal of stress in me due to the fact that when I spoke with Maria she seemed that she did not have a clue if what I was talking about, regarding all the menu and specifics, I had already discuss with Jennifer and changed completely the quote adding a good $800 extra to quote.Come wedding day, first, I had nice matching silverware and the team decided to put the metal silverware next to the silver wear. Here the common sense was not used. This clashed with the decor. I remember mentioning to put the silverware next to the food so if people wanted to use those instead of the ones in the table they had the choice.Secondly, the caesar salad had bacon on it and it was pre-made. Once again, I was very explicit about not wanting pork in the menu. Half of my family ended not been able to eat the salad and I found this so annoying as I paid almost $2,400 for the services.Third, the head server approach me at some point of the wedding to ask me about the services and I told her how I was feeling and told her 'not great'. To this day NOBODY from this company has reached out to me for feedback.Needless to say they won't have my business nor recommendation in the future.Lastly, keep in mind it has been almost a full year of my wedding and I still feel strongly about it all.

Just wanting to give a major kudos to Affordable Catering for a phenomenal job they did in catering our rehearsal dinner. They catered our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner 1 week after Hurricane Ian. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Their staff members, Ice (lead server) and Dunia (2nd server) were absolutely awesome! They showed up on time coming to Venice, Fl from Tampa during very heavy "Ian" recovery traffic. Not only did they impress us with arriving with ample time to set up before guests arrived, they were very personable, happy, enjoyable and extremely efficient in serving and clean up.The food by Affordable Catering was absolutely amazing. The 62+ guests we had were thrilled with the food and service. Everything tasted so delicious, in particular, the Maui Chicken was a HUGE success. We received nothing but raves about the food.Thank you "Affordable Catering" for making our first experience an excellent experience.Marie Bentancourt, my sales associate, was also key in making our event a success as well. She worked very hard at satisfying my needs. She was very conscious of my concerns and had perfect suggestions to satisfy my specific needs.Thank you once again Affordable Catering.If anyone is looking for the perfect company to cater their party, you will not be disappointed with this company.

I have had the pleasure of affordable catering's food several times now. The food is very good. Some of my favorites are the stuffed mushrooms and chicken marsala. In addition when you compare it to other catering companies in the same price tier you are getting exceptional value, excellent service and great food.

We used Affordable Catering for our wedding over this past weekend and I have heard nothing but positive feedback from the guests! The staff was friendly, efficient, and responsible. Everything was easy to book, they had plenty of menus to choose from, and were happy to answer my multitude of questions. Specifically, I want to give credit to Tera and Carl. Tera was professional and focused the entire night. She handled all minor mishaps calmly and with a smile. She kept our ceremony on pace and was a needed support. Carl ended up being the talk of the entire wedding party as we reminisced on the night! From the moment he arrived he was a constant positive and warm presence. He worked hard the whole night and made sure he was readily available to help with whatever we needed. He handled all the heavy lifting in the breakdown with smiles and laughs (which were plenty welcome seeing as the South Florida Museum staff were grumpy jerks)! Oh, I also want to add that our bartender was also such a sweet person. I had many people mention to me how much of a pleasure she was. I'm sorry that I can't remember her name! You should book this company! We enjoyed the food, but the staff made our experience most memorable!

We chose Affortable Catering for our daughter's wedding March 13,2021. We could not have been happier. The food was absolutely delicious and we had many guests say to us how good it was and tne best food they have had at a wedding. They were friendly and professional. Would highly recommend them.

My grandaughter and her fiance' were married yesterday Saturday 23. 2019.They used your company AffordableCatering for their reception and I as her grandmother must say I was very very impressed on the appetizers and food. Everything was absolutely delicious. The servers were on top of everything and took care of all requests.If in the future we need a catering service it will be your company that we call.

We hired them for our parents' 50th Anniversary. Nick was so patient with our indecisiveness about how to set up the space. Despite unpredictable rain, which forced him to set up twice, everything was on time and the buffet tables looked gorgeous! The food was delicious! Everyone complimented our menu choice and was impressed with the quality of service and the exquisite menu.We will definitely be hiring them again.

Very disappointed with affordable catering. I was in talks with their office staff for months prior to my wedding. First, it was super hard to get a hold of her and when I did, everything was rushed. Then the day of the wedding came. The portions of the food were scandalous. My guests were left extremely disappointed. When it came time to the cake, they served the cake to some of the tables and some they did not. When confronted staff about it, the lady told me: you only have us contracted until 9 and it's 9:10. Absolutely ridiculous. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone. We paid them close to $5000 and I was left very disappointed.

We hired Affordable Catering for my daughter's celebration of life service. They were great!!!! On time, professional, great food, great staff. Eric, Jacob and Matt were so welcoming to my family, so attentive and compassionate. Extra shout out to Jacob, who did a wonderful job as a bartender. I will make sure to recommend them to all my friends.

So professional. The food was very good. The bartender, Jacob, was a 10+ and the entire staff made it the most pleasurable experience.
