We all love Acropolis - delicious and fresh Greek food. So for work meeting we ordered a catering of Gyros, Greek salad, and potato salad. We have never tried the catering and honestly I was a bit disappointed. We ordered for 12 people and got one tray of Chicken and Lamb gyros, guess we were expecting large gyros or even just the pitas so we can our own. Instead we got 1/2 of gyros. The good news it was fresh and tasty. Heads up if ordering catering, the tray says it feeds 10 people but in actually it would feed 5-6 people. The Greek and potato salad were great side dishes. The Greek dressing was amazing! I could have drank that up. Overall the food was delicious and fresh. It is still one of my favorite Greek restaurant - if you're ever in the Riverview area, near Winthrop plaza, this restaurant can be found in a plaza. The building decor is rustic tables, Greek music playing and vibrant accents throughout making you feel you're in a Greek island. It's a great vibe and maybe next time we will just go there instead of catering....

Most likely the worse birthday dining experience. Not coming back.1 server for weekend lunch hour. No refills in drinks Too busy with other tables to tend to us. Never came to ask how our food was and if we needed anything. No cutting knife for the cake. Didn't sing happy birthday to my husband so we had to initiate it. The whole purpose of coming here to celebrate was for you guys to sing but for us to initiate the traditional birthday is uncalled for. I waited a good 5 seconds but all the 3 workers just looked at each other. Food was mediocre today. Such bad service from host to server. Zero stars if I could.

This is my second time here and it was great. This time I tried the Souvlaki wrap with greek fries. It was really good and filling. The taste of the grill pork was amazing!The service was good, but it took a long time to get the food even though it was not a busy when I was there.

If you authentic Greek food, then this is the place. The food here is excellent from the appetizers, salads and entrees. The sangria's are 2 for 1 and I hear are delicious. My friend and I had the gyro platter which comes with two gyros, but they give you so much meat it's actually about 4 gyros. It comes with fries and a salad. My wife also had the gyro platter but she had chicken instead of beef with lamb. Take note this is an additional $2. Our other friend the Greek salad with lamb and she said it was also delicious. My wife and her had the peach sangria, which they said were delicious. We received so much food that we all had to-go containers full of food. My only issue today was the customer service, I stood at the hostess stand for approximately 10-15 minutes waiting to be greeted even though the restaurant was not full at all and there were plenty of employees walking right past me. It wasn't until another couple came into the restaurant that I was finally greeted and sat at a table.The other thing was three tables that was sat after us, were greeted by their sever and they had drinks and appetizers before we were greeted. This was very disappointing especially when we finally were able to order those other tables had already received their food.

Acropolis never disappoints! My bro came into town last week and wanted Greek. I knew exactly where to go. As always, service was amazing. We were seated immediately and drinks and tzatziki was served immediately. We ordered Baba Ghanouj for a side with pita. So smoky and earthy. HEAVEN!I had the Moussaka and my bro had the Chicken Olympia. My meal was amazing. The eggplant was the star. Charred perfectly! The flavors made my mouth water. Perfect amount of spice! I was very jealous of my bro's meal. He loved it. It will definitely be one of my go-to restaurants when friends and family visit!

First time here. First they bring out pita and Greek yogurt with olive oil. Delicious and a great start. Next we got calamari and octopus. Calamari was very lightly breaded and had nice seasoning. Not greasy at all. The marinara sauce was nice and sweet. The octopus had to be one of the best I ever had. Was so tender fell apart in your mouth. It also had the right amount of char to it. Was served in an oil and vinegar sauce with diced tomato's which was lovely. For our main course we had Acropolis seafood with pasta. A great dish. All the fish was cooked perfect just a fun dish to eat. Our server was also outstanding. Will be back

The food is amazing, the venue as ambiance are so amazing and beautiful this feels like an upscale restaurant without the upscale prices. The mussels left a lot to be desired, but the Athenian Salad and the calamari were AMAZING! This is the BEST salad! I'll come here more often! Our server was also very attentive and kept it fun and light. Happy hour with half price appetizers is a steal. Go!

Right away you could feel the good vibes upon entering. We started with the yummy Tirosalata, which is a creamy feta cheese and garlic blend served with pita. As an entree I had the Acropolis Seafood served over orzo rice. Amazing! My group was served by Asher who made sure we were taken care of for the evening. Currently not impressed, we went there specifically for the Red Snapper. Placed our order, then the newbie waiter came back to tell us that they had no Red Snapper. So what we did order was just okay, nothing special. The ambiance of a Greek restaurant was not there and they were playing 70/80's music. The waiter knew we were disappointed, you would have thought that the manager who was sitting at the bar doing paperwork and drinking what looked to be martini style drinks would have come over to check on use, but no? We've eaten there before and enjoyed that's why we went back, nothing special on this visit.
