2pm Saturday, 67 degrees and CLOSED. Multiple signs around building announcing OPEN 7 Days a Week but no smoke rolling, no food and no employees.That equals NO business for very long.Too bad. It was good as Arthur's. All good things must come to an end. :(

Old boiled expensive ribs. 44 plus tax for a rack!! Went here years ago when it was under a different name, it was a much better experience. I get maybe theres good days and bad days in any business , but omg the ribs i got were so old boiled and flavorless I felt a dog should be eating them as scraps. Not to mention the extreme trips to the bathroom that followed for the rest of my night! Sorry to say Im crossing this place off my list forever. try at ur own risk

We have been eyeing this place for awhile. We finally decided to order & instantly regretted it. We ordered 2 brisket dinners with mac n cheese. One with beans & 1 with collard greens. We received a very tiny amount of random meat, not brisket, beans & greens plus a random piece of bread. One had plain white bread, the other had the top of a bun... it was truly comical. The only reason I gave 2 stars is the meat, the tiny pieces we received was actually good. Unfortunately it seems they just threw whatever they had in the bag & sent it out the door. They took zero interest in what we actually ordered. If you are out of an item, generally you let a customer know. Just randomly filling it with whatever garbage you can scrape together is a poor & deceptive business practice.As far as the sides- beans were basic canned baked beans. They definitely need to be jazzed up. I don't even make canned beans without adding some onion, bbq sauce, spices... the collard greens, my husband tried to eat them. He said he thinks they spilled the salt or the lid fell off cause he likes salt & said they were not edible. The Mac n cheese... idk, we ordered 2 sides & paid for 2 sides but did not receive any. The tangy sauce & hot sauce were pretty good though. If only we had something to put it on.... Maybe that was what the random bread scraps were for??

We got "real deal" "no frills"" "side of the road" BBQ from Ace and Junebug's Homestyle BBQ and Seafood in Clearwater. Saturdays and Sundays they have Oxtail which was tender and excellent. We also did the 3 Meat which i picked ribs, brisket and sausage. What to expect? - amazing smoked flavor and cooked to perfection. Oxtail is tender and fall off the bone( tender like pot roast). The ribs also fell off the bone. The brisket, although little fatty, had great flavor. The sausage snapped and had a smokey/ spicy kick. We tried the greens - my friend said they were one of the best he has had. The mac and cheese. Again excellent! They had two sauces we tried - regular and spicy. I preferred the kick of the spicy. Not real hot but notched up enough to add some heat. Don't expect a dining room. They have some picnic tables. So rough it!! It's worth it.

I had the rib dinner which was portioned enough for two meals. The meat was well smoked and seasoned. Staff was very attentive and genuine. Ambiance was very basic but the food stands on its own.

The ribs were fall off the bone no sauce needed delicious. The corn was sweet and juicy. Mac and cheese flavorful and cheesy. Just wish I had gotten the peach cobbler we ordered.. for sure we get it next time we get dinner from there. Make sure you come hungry because you won't go away disappointed

Great barbecue, great people. Little place, just a few outside seats. You'll smell the smoker as you drive by and will have to turn around and try it. Go there now!

I was a super fan of Arthur's BBQ. I'm not a big fan of the new ownership and offerings. I got brisket sandwich, collard greens, and Mac n cheese as sides. I also got banana pudding and a slice of sweet potato pie.The brisket sandwich was doused with sauce so that I could tell much about the meat. But it was tasty sauce. I'm just not sure that it was as good as other places I've been, and know it wasn't as good as some I remember. The collard greens were inedible because the were so salty. Really incredibly salty. The Mac n cheese was typical. Nothing special, not that any are so special. It was good. The banana pudding was tasty for a few bites. It became monotonous, if that can be used for flavor and taste. Then I realized how much sugar was added because I could feel the texture of the granulated sugar in the pudding. It was like Cinnamon Toast Crunch without the crunch, rather than a vanilla flavor. I wouldn't get it again.The sweet potato pie was dry and that made the flavor harder to cling to in a review. I felt that the slice I was given was so old that no one before me for weeks had gotten a slice.I won't be back. Unless whomever ran Arthur's comes back too.There's a better bbq on Highland Av that has friendlier service as well. This place, they seemed to focused on letting everyone know they were voted number one in the Tampa Bay area (or something like that) that they forgot to pay attention to their product.

Ordered the oxtail. Extremely underwhelming. The oxtail did not look appetizing. It didn't even look like oxtail. It looked like some kind of unrecognizable meat separated from the bone. It didn't have a lot of flavor, just salty. Also, the portion was definitely NOT worth $20.

As good as we have had BBQ wise. They are the nicest people too. They didn't open until noon and we were there at 11:30 and they served us anyway! The ribs fell off the bone and the pulled pork awesome. We highly recommend them
