Acapulco Taqueria

So crazy we've been going to the chiropractor next door for a while and never popped in here because we were seriously missing out! We dined in on a random Wednesday night. There were a bunch of carry out ordered but other than that we had the place to ourselves. We ordered a shrimp and beef taco, a shrimp quesadilla and a a beef tostada. Everything came out piping hot and was sooooo good. Lots of flavor even before we added the red and green salsa. Definitely will be back!

Diamond in the rough taqueria nestled inside a small corner strip mall. Acapulco offers a simple menu but do not let the brief menu turn you astray, the tacos are delicious. I ordered the Pollo taco and Quesabirria tacos. I wanted to get the al pastor taco but, unfortunately, they were sold out and marinating the meat for it for tomorrow. The tacos I did get were delicious. It was evident all of the ingredients were fresh. They also gave me two salsas for the tacos. One red and one green. The red one was spicy but delicious. This one was great for the pollo taco. For the quesabirria tacos, it came with a cup of the birria broth. These tacos were incredible. They were a bit messy but what good food isn't. For the price and quality, these tacos are a steal. This is not a big sit down spot so it is best to get grab and go.

I found this little joint on yelp. Decided to trust it and give it a shot. It did not disappoint. Great food and friendly staff. I'll be coming back.

Food was delicious and service was fast. Was upset they didn't have their most popular taco - quesabirria. The restaurant is clean and spacious - I'd love to see them develop more of an authentic or cozy feel. We will definitely be coming back!

This is *thee spot for the best Mexican food in Tampa Bay. I love the guy that works there. He's always so helpful and friendly, and he always makes that food with love. The restaurant is so chill and welcoming. From the modern design of the place, to the painting on the wall, the ambient lighting. Even the drink coolers look rad; filled with drinks and my favorite Jarritos. The food here is incredible! I always get the Carnitas tacos, but today I also got the Birria tacos and Omg yummm!! I'll be dreaming about that Birria tonight, and every night from this day forward, until I get back to Acapulco Taqueria for some more of their amazing food

GREAT food!!! Good service, prices a bit high, but we enjoyed our meal. We got quesadillas for lunch. Steak one was good, shrimp one was outstanding. $40 for the 2 quesadillas and tip.

Hmm... about a 3.5. As many previous reviews noted, they used to be awesome, closed down to renovate, and are now freshly re-opened. Not knowing any of this, I walked inside expecting a restaurant and found just a takeout counter, about a third the size of what the establishment used to be. There were a couple of outside picnic tables you could sit at, but clearly this is now only a to-go experience.The menu was very small, but fortunately they did have my favorite tacos in the world (currently) the Quesabirria Tacos. For those who haven't had them yet, the tacos are shredded beef stew with melted white cheese and a side of birria broth to dunk your tacos in. I wanted to get a side order of chips and salsa and/or guacamole, but apparently they don't carry any of those, which honestly, is just weird.I got home and devoured my tacos. They were excellent, filled with meat that was not fatty, and full of flavor. The birria broth was one of the better ones I've had. While I thought $10 for just 2 tacos was expensive, they were delicious enough that I would get them again if I were in the area.

Friendly staff and the food was good. Ordered three different tacos: chicken, al pastor, and beef. All three were good...good place for a quick taco fix.

Walked out of this place when i saw the food i just ordered was being charged a service fee. Not a tip but a service fee! When asked, they indicated this the POS MACHINE CHARGE!I did let them know I do not accept these add-ons.Please folks, lets stop this stuff!

I'm confused why everyone on Yelp is saying this is the best Al Pastor taco in town...go to Lolis and have theirs, then talk to me. This was bland. No pineapple flavor. Extremely disappointed.
