813 Salad And Seafood

It's been a long time i shouldn't have left you without a dope review to read through!Well I'm back off my Yelp hiatus and im going to drop some reviews all week long. I found myself looking on Uber Eats for lunch and i ran across this joint and im amazed at the photos and im also amazed that this place is right up under my nose literally 5 mins from my home. What a fool I am to know this place exists. When I tell you the food here is so damn good. I ordered the seafood boil and it was Please make it a must yo swing by and get yourself a plate. The salads are loaded also all flavor and fresh ingredients.

On occasion, really good food get dished out of dumpy, hole-in-the-wall restaurants. This is not one of those occasions. This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and value. They open at 11:00, and by that, I mean the owner(?) strolls in at 11:05 and starts getting ready for customers. She didn't seem to be happy about having customers. She was impatient, and rude. Maybe that's why we were the only ones there for that 30 minute period while we waited. The place is not big enough to accommodate dine in, so it's take out only. That's probably a good thing, because the little 4' by 8' area I did step foot in was filthy. I would have walked out, but I had already bought a Groupon offer. Dam you Groupon!!!The food was expensive for the portion and quality. I ordered the stir fry shrimp. It only came with 6 tiny shrimp, which was a disappointment, but the kicker was I didn't enjoy anything about the dish. It was overly salty (and I love salt), and the veggies were mush. 90% of the dish was rice.Even with the Groupon, I would say the value is bad. The food isn't good, the menu is limited, and the service stinks. Can't say I'll return.

Really good food in a hole in the wall on the wrong side of town but totally worth swinging by to try. Ask for the mystery lemonade and you will not be disappointed. We got deep-fried shrimp crab legs that included hush puppies in my personal opinion although it tasted great there was absolutely no reason to deep fry the crab since the coding was on the shell and you're not gonna eat the shell if anything I made it more of a mess however, with eating at all

We had a great lunch meal at 813 Salad and Seafood. I highly recommend this restaurant for fish and other seafood!

So slow. She also forgot the sides with all our food and burned out sausages. When we ask a Loyd it she states she was out of sausages.

Nice to have another West Tampa neighborhood option. This one is on Main Street, near Howard and hopefully will be more enduring than other eateries that have tried to make it nearby. Odds are better because it offers a different menu....specializing in salad and seafood...plus more common comfort food lunch specials for very reasonable prices,....pork chops, burgers, etc Using a Groupon, we tried hefty salads...one fried fish and one grilled chicken....both with all the trimmings, including avocado, cukes, cheese, black olives, etc. A generous, complete meal for $10 each. served up in about 10 minutes. You need to park on the street, but no problem, even in an area labelled as "sketchy" by some. Was also able to walk across the street to buy a beer to go at the big yellow 305 Club. We hope to visit again and hope others give them a try. Support local business and employment.

I want to rave about this place. I got some super tasty New Orleans-style food for an amazing price here, but not only that, the woman at the counter is so honest. The story: I paid for a Groupon and wasn't sure if it was still good. Long story short, the lady was able to activate it, but I wasn't ready to order food at the time, so she held it open for me until I came back the next day. I only wanted $18 worth of food, but she persuaded me to try the mystery punch to round off the $20 coupon. It was SO TASTY and had real raspberries and blueberries in it. This place is take-out only, a little hole-in-the-wall place that serves good, cheap, hearty food. Call them, order, drive by (slowly, so you don't miss it), pick up, dig in. You won't be disappointed. BTW, you can't get lobster or crab with a Groupon.

I was a little hesitant with its location. Just a little hole-in-the-wall in West Tampa. After I receive my order, I was pleasantly surprised as to how delicious the food was. I especially enjoyed the crab rice , my favorite. It seems to come with most dishes. The prices are very reasonable for the generous portion that they give you. I would highly recommend.

The portions are great the lobster, seafood and rice was amazing. Although it lacks any kind of ambiance the food made the trip worthwhile.
