Great local's place that can provide the good comfort food you've been craving. My friend worked nearby about 10 years ago, and came here all the time for lunch, so when we were leaving the Hard Rock Hotel, she suggested trying here for breakfast.We sat ourselves, and then the friendly waitress came right over and offered coffee. Our order was put in quickly, and food arrived quickly. I just had a small breakfast sandwich, while my friend enjoyed a heartier meal. I snuck one of her breakfast potatoes, and it was delicious.If you pay cash, they honor their original prices, but if you pay by credit card, that will include the 3.99% increase in prices they've recently had to add. Definitely a clean and welcoming spot for a quick tasty breakfast.

I said here is amazing. Delicious fresh and hot perfect spot for breakfast after a concert. Prices are great We got the special which was eggs biscuit gravy beef fried steak and a coffee. All for under $15. It's a small place so it gets packed get here early. Parking in front and side of the building.

We stopped in 301 for breakfast based on a friend's recommendation before heading back home from Tampa. We arrived right before 10am and although busy, we were greeted and seated promptly. 301 has that classic old school Diner vibe that I really appreciate. Nothing over the top or super expensive, just good old home style cooking at its best.Our server, Tammy, was friendly and efficient. We were a table of four and from what I can remember we all decided on the daily special; Country fried steak, two eggs, with a choice potatoes or grits, and toast or biscuit for $9.99, what a deal! Our food was ready in about 15 minutes, was hot, delicious, and freshly cooked, no lukewarm potatos here!The interior has a country cozy vibe and overall is very clean, even the restroom, which I did not expect, since they have been open since 1984. Props to the staff for taking good care of this place.Staff here were very attentive, we were in and out in less than an hour, yet never felt pressured to hurry up to order or leave. All four of us were happy with our meals and would definitely return here again if the opportunity arises.If you're in the area and looking for great meal, I highly recommend stopping into 301 Family Restaurant to give them a try.

What a great place for some good breakfast. My wife and I have been here a few times know and we love it here. The people are supper friendly and the food is great. My wife loves country fried steak with scrambled eggs and cheese grits. She said it was amazing and gave it a 8.1 I had grits eggs and bacon with toast and I really like it. I would give it a 7.9 . The next day we came back with family from NC and had breakfast before they had to go back north. They both loved the place biscuits and gravy was awesome. I had to country fried steak with eggs and grits and toast it was amazing. Biscuits and gravy 8.1 country fried steak definitely a8.1 they even came out and helped us take some pictures before my daughter had to go back up north. This is a great place if you're in this area and you want some great comfort food this is the place for you.

While visiting the Tampa area for Thanksgiving, I took my granddaughter on a breakfast adventure on Thanksgiving Day. As you can imagine, most places were closed. Through Yelp, I started calling around and found this hidden jewel. I called and they said they were open until 11am. The breakfast and service was excellent. This will be my go-to place for breakfast for all future trips to this part of Tampa. I had the ultimate omelette and a grilled biscuit which was delicious. My granddaughter had French toast and bacon and also said it was delicious. The restaurant was decorated like an old country store with the United States Pledge of Allegiance displayed proudly by the front door!

Came back after 6 years and still found the place pleasant, unassuming, with service that makes you want to continue coming back. food felt more expensive than what i was previously used to

Great little breakfast location. Cooking just like you were home! Staff was attentive and nice. Food was tasty and hot!

Hands down the BEST pancakes! Even if you are coming in for lunch, get the pancakes. We got the Hungry Man Breakfast- three plates full of sausage, bacon, 3 eggs, biscuit, grits (served with a puddle of butter on top), and two of the best, fluffy pancakes. Absolutely delicious. The service is incredible, friendly and fast. Even though this is no where near us, we are already planning out next trip.

Mom and Pop place, cute and cozy inside. A local favorite would explain the stars on Google. But my stars reflect the coffee ( really bad), and the service. It's Sunday morning, where are the servers, bus people? Our waitress was pleasant but it just took a long time to get our food. Had a BLT on rye with an egg and my husband had a Cuban breakfast sandwich with "zero love" he said and gave it a 2 1/2. My sandwich was right there with his.

The food was very good and a good bargain. The waitress was busy but very good. The restaurant is in a very location to the fair grounds.
